What are online stores to buy baby supplies from?

You asked and you shall now receive. It’s only fair for us to share all of this stored up knowledge about a baby and what happens once the baby is born until they are no longer called a baby but a toddler! We now will answer, in a very public forum, all of those burning questions about babies and those first 12 months. Each Tuesday, we will tackle a commonly-asked-question from the point of view of a new parent. Chiming in to give her feedback will be three women who have been there and done that: an expert (you know someone who does this for a living), a mom from our community (for the “best” friend advice you need) and a babybites’ team member (someone who will promise to give you the REAL deal and no fluff). Earmark, share and add your own input to today’s question; it’s good karma.

What are online stores to buy baby supplies from?

Expert: Dr. Gina Lamb – Amato

Online stores are a lifesaver to a new mother. There are so many online store but here are the ones I recommend and use. One of my favorite ones was Diapers.com which will deliver just about anything a baby needs within a day or two. Another helpful online store is Amazon.com which has just about everything you need for your baby and anything else. They have an excellent selection of baby books too. Babies R Us is also a good resource for baby supplies. However they take longer to deliver than Diaper.com. Another online store I uses was One Step Ahead which was great for baby clothes, socks and equipment. I also used and still use Hannah Anderson for my daughter’s clothes. Another online clothing store that is great is Baby Gap which has great well made clothing for babies and toddlers. Bumkins is a good online store for bibs for baby that are well made and well designed. Finally I used Target for basic baby supplies and equipment which were all reasonably priced and well made. All in all there are many online shops and these are ones that are reliable and have excellent products.

Mom: Mary Ann Malone

We were living in New York City when my boys were babies, so online shopping was a life saver! I would have groceries delivered from Fresh Direct, baby gear from Amazon, diapers and formula from Diapers.com. One Step Ahead is also a great source for innovative products that make life with babies easier!

Mommybites’ team: Elise Jones

I am a big fan of Diapers.com and Amazon Moms! Other than the general baby supplies, I’m a huge fan of flash sale sites to get discount clothes and toys as well as Etsy for handmade, one-of-a-kind frocks, decor and toys.
