Ebooks & Kids has done it again! Not only did they create an excellent app for older children, but they now have created an app for preschool children. Preschool Academy is an educational app for children 3-5 years old. Like their other app, Monsters Mixer, this one is very colorful and bright. The use of bright colors helps to keep children involved and focused on the game.
Preschool Academy is not a game to really boost children’s creativity – it is more focused on getting the child to focus and listen to the directions. On each level, a voice tells the child what to do, and when she does it properly, it praises the child. The app also praises the child when he gets it wrong, which is something I love. Most games for children make a noise when the level is not successful and the game is over. However, this app praises the child for the effort.
Another aspect of the app that I love is the design. Ebooks & kids have created a very unique design for each level. Each level encompasses different items, such as cupcakes, teddy bears or stars. Preschool Academy is an app that is both educational and fun for children. The app launched today and can be downloaded through the App Store.
