Review by Jaymee Kruysman

Nowadays, the App Store is a parent’s favorite place to shop. Our children are exposed to hundreds of different games via computers, cellphones or tablets and most of these games are either inappropriate or too immature for our children. Luckily for us, Ebooks & kids have created a new app that children love!

Ebooks & kids is an Italian company who prides themselves on producing animated, interactive applications and ebooks for children 2-10 years old. is the new app that has just been released by the company and it is phenomenal! Most of the time, apps are hard to navigate, however, this app is quite simple. There are no tricks; the directions are plain and simple. So, getting this app was simple, but how would children do navigating it? Well, let’s just say that they understood it a little quicker than I did (should I be embarrassed?)

Not only did a 3-, 8- and 10-year-old play with this, but so did a 21-year-old. All the children loved how colorful and musical the app was. The bright colors combined with excellent animation and sounds kept them entertained for hours. Monsters Mixer allows the child to create their own monster. They can add eyes, a mouth, a nose, arms, legs, etc.

I’m a true believer that fun is the best way to learn and this app truly helps a child learn. This app helps to teach colors, counting and body parts. In addition to being educational, it allows children of all ages to be creative! Creativity is a factor that is often lost in our children’s education, but Monsters Mixer brings education, fun and creativity together again!

Monsters Mixer is not only a great educational game for children of all ages, but it is a worry-free app. When your child is on this app, you do not have to worry about inappropriate advertisements popping up. While I played with this app, not one ad came up. So, if I were you, I would take a quick run to your App Store and download Monsters Mixer!

*What exactly does a sponsored product review mean? Well, it goes a little something like this: unlike all of our educational content blogs where we receive NO compensation, for our S.O.S reviews Mommybites has been compensated by companies to review and discuss their product. This helps us pay outside bloggers (ones not affiliated with Mommybites, nor the companies themselves) to try out and review the products. This insures that all the reviewers writing these reviews are not influenced in any way. As usual, the writers will always give their honest opinions, findings, beliefs, or experiences on all topics, products, and services.

The views and opinions expressed on this blog are purely the blog contributor’s. Any product claim, statistic, quote or other representation about a product or service should be verified with the manufacturer or provider. Writers may have conflicts of interest, and their opinions are their own.
