I went away for 4 days to the Ritz Carlton Key Biscayne with my mommy friends. We got massages, dined in Miami every night and woke up late (something of the past and definitely a commodity). Best way to reset your button and refresh your screen.

Hershey Park is fun for the little ones as well as the big kids (like my husband and I). Also the Jersey shore is a beautiful getaway. I love escaping to a bed and breakfast spot any time!

St. Michaels, Maryland! We haven’t taken the girls yet, but they have spent some time in Annapolis, which we also love. (And we get to visit the grandparents)

In this economy we have not been able to actually take our son on a weekend getaway. However, we do go to the park regularly and see the animals, ride the train and have picnics. Luckily at our park they have everything there and you can buy a season pass. They even have a small water structure park to play in and different playgrounds for different ages so the little guys aren’t getting mowed down by the big kids. We have fun every time we go!

    Sesame Place!

Hershey Park was a lot of fun. There’s even a zoo attached which is nice and quiet to walk through if you want your little one to try to take a nap during the day.

Definitely Sesame Place – I can’t wait to take Benjamin!

Cape May is a great place to go with kids!

The Doral Arrowwood Hotel, in Rye Brook Westchester. They have an indoor and outdoor pool. a 9 hole golf course. 30 minutes frm the city. And it’s very resonably prices. When we went Buffet Breakfast was included.

Sesame Place is only at most a 2 hour drive. It is great for toddlers, but there is plenty to do with the early elementary ages as well. Rent a cabana if you have real young ones, it is nice to have a home base.

Sesame place in Pennsylvania! Definitely popular with toddlers!

A great weekend getaway is Niagra Falls ( I prefer the Canadian side). It isn’t that far of a drive and a lot of fun. Another great place to go is the Jersey shore.

Great weekend getaways: a ski weekend to Stowe, VT while the in-laws came down for a visit with the grandkids – EVERYBODY wins there! With the kiddies – Trips to Falmouth, Cape Cod – super family friendly town, great bike paths, beaches and family friendly restaurants.
