4-Part Small-Group Teleclass Program for Parents:
Lose the Post-Baby Weight, Get Healthy, Feel Good & Stay that Way!
This unique program, exclusively hosted by Mommybites, is designed to help moms prioritize themselves and focus on key lifestyle changes that promote weight loss and a healthy relationship with food.
The program is facilitated by registered dietician, Theresa Kinsella, nationally-recognized as one of Manhattan’s top women’s weight loss specialists. In this program Theresa and Mommybites will facilitate small groups of moms via the convenience and privacy of a tele-class format to learn and discuss how to lose weight, get healthy and keep the weight off. After more than 10 years of helping people lose weight and improve their relationship with food, Theresa knows exactly what is needed to help moms with the very difficult and daunting process of losing their post-baby weight (event if it’s been years since they had the baby!) in a healthy and lasting way!
To ensure participants receive personal attention, enrollment is limited and available on a first come, first serve basis. The program comprises of four (4) weekly tele-class sessions of an hour (60 minutes) each (detailed below). In the first part of each session Theresa will share her extensive knowledge and experience; in the second part of each session Theresa will address questions and issues raised by the group. All participation is on a first-name only basis. Each parent decides whether to share any personal information in the group sessions. For convenience, attendees can call in from any phone.
Session 1, October 25th 12:00-1:00: Identify your personal barriers to self-care/healthy living and gain a better understanding of how they are affecting your weight. We will discuss the barriers that came up for participants in the assessment phase. Learn the importance of adequate sleep, regular meals, protein and fiber at breakfast.
Session 2, November 1st 12:00-1:00: Attunement to Hunger and Fullness Cues. Reliance on internal hunger and satiety cues to determine when and how much to eat. The science on distracted eating. Eating in a satisfactory way. Learn which foods will keep you full, which foods won’t and why.
Session 3, November 8th 12:00-1:00: Setting Up Your Environment for Success. Grocery shopping, how to make convenient healthy meals that will keep you satisfied, a practical tool for portioning.
Session 4, November 15th 12:00-1:00: Hanging in there for the long haul. The importance of consistency and focusing on specific goals. Fitting fitness into your lifestyle and your family culture – tools that work. Taking a look at sedentary time as well as physical activity. Preparing for the holidays.

The regular cost per hour for nutritional and weight loss consulting with Theresa is $200 an hour.
