Lurine has been our wonderful night nurse for the last 8 weeks and has been an absolute blessing to our family. From the get go it was clear she has a wonderful personality, adores babies, is reliable, and is easy to communicate with. Over time we learned how much of a calming presence she was, particularly in those early days and regressions when times are tough. We looked forward to every night Lurine was with us, because we knew we could rest easy and our son would be taken care of. In the mornings, our son has the biggest smile waking up with Lurine. They sing songs, read books, play, talk, and she even got him to enjoy tummy time!
As a new first time mom, Lurine made me feel very comfortable and safe asking questions and learning how to be a new mom and care for an infant. I never felt judged or pressured into doing something, which I can’t say for all of my night nurse and nanny experiences. She is also very experienced with developmental milestones and newborn care, and she gave us amazing tips and encouragement to support our son.
Separately, our son has specific medical needs (he feeds from a g-tube) and it was difficult finding someone we could trust who was caring and attentive enough to learn different feeding and burping processes, and Lurine embraced the challenge beautifully.

Allie is an extremely caring nanny, who has worked with our family for the past three years. She joined us when our second child was 11 months old. Since then, our family has grown to three children, who are now 20 months to nearly 6 years old. During this time, she has regularly cared for multiple children at different ages and stages. Prior to working with us, she had over 20+ years of experience taking care of children.

We are saying goodbye to our nanny, Asha, as our son has transitioned to full-time daycare. Asha has been with us for over one year (since he was 4-months old) but has helped other families ranging from a period of 3 to 15 years, is still in contact and very much loved by the children and families she’s helped. Pearl has been an incredible nanny for us. Her patience is endless and her love for our children (turning 6 and 2) is undeniable. She is kind, warm, thoughtful and flexible beyond measure. Our nanny Ann is looking for a new job starting in September. She has been with us since 2018 and cared for both of my sons.
She is warm, responsible, flexible and a great communicator, I honestly don’t know what we would have done without her all these years. We are devastated that it’s time to move on! Our sons adores her and at every stage, she’s known how to manage them- she was a calming presence when they were infants and became their play buddy when they became toddlers.

Katarina has been with us since the birth of our daughter in early COVID. Our son was 2. From day one, Katarina demonstrated her skill in managing the needs of two young children amid difficult, shifting circumstances with calm, confidence, and care. Silvia is kind-hearted, patient and experienced. She is trustworthy and shows up on time. She arranges playdates for our daughter and transports her to and from her various activities. Silvia sends us texts and photos during the day so that we know our daughter has arrived safely at her activities. Our daughter is now 7 years old and has matured significantly over the time Silvia has been with us. Our daughter is much more independent and knows how to respect and follow rules. Silvia has completed child/infant CPR class and completed nanny training workshops at Cornell University Workers Institute.
Sabina has been with us for 2.5 years taking care of my daughters (2.5 and 4). Sabina will be available M-F until 12:30 and is looking for around 20 hours a week. She currently is with us from 7:30-12:30 Mon-Thurs. I do not have enough great things to say about Sabina, she can do it all. During school she walked to school 1 mile everyday, does laundry and prep meals. On the days they do not have school she is making play dates, going to playgrounds, museums, zoo, library, etc. Sabina has never been late and rarely takes any time off, planning most of her vacations while we are also away. We get stopped all the time to say how amazing “Bina” is. I completely trust her with our children, knowing they will be safe, loved and having the best time. You can trust that she will not only not be on her phone while she is with your kids, but will be running around with them playing on the playground. We are sad to let her go, but want to find her the best family.
