We are moving out of New York, so our amazing nanny Bobita aka Bobby, is looking for her next family on the Upper East Side.
Bobby is THE sweetest, kindest, most loving nanny and treats our 18-month-old daughter like her own. She cooks all of her meals, keeps everything clean and organized, does all of her laundry, bathes her, plays with her, reads to her, and takes her on walks, playdates, to the playground, and classes, etc. Bobby is so responsible and attentive. We don’t have to worry at all when our daughter is in her hands – we know that she is so well taken care of!
Our daughter absolutely loves Bobby and is at her happiest when she sees her walking through the door in the mornings. She has such an amazing energy and spirit, and it’s easy to see how much she enjoys taking care of children. She’s just a pleasure to be around.

I am writing to highly recommend Hazel as a nanny. She has been with our family for the past year and has been caring for our daughter since she was just 3 months old. Our wonderful nanny, Aleia, is looking for full-time employment beginning this summer. We first met Aleia in 2017 when she was working in her first job as a teacher at our older son’s daycare, where her warmth and skill with children immediately impressed us. When we needed childcare for our baby, we knew she would be perfect for our family.
Aleia has been caring for both of our children since 2020 and has been absolutely fantastic. She’s energetic, and has a special talent for working with babies and toddlers. Her patience seems endless, and she brings positive energy to our home.
What sets Aleia apart is how engaged she is with children. She’s constantly thinking of new activities, whether it’s trips to the playground, library story time, or playdates at home. She keeps us well-informed throughout the day with updates and photos but she is careful to avoid using her phone in front of the kids.
Aleia has been reliable and flexible. She rarely takes time off, is almost never sick, and has been more than willing to accommodate our changing schedules when work demands require it. She’s also open to occasional travel with a family if needed.
We’re genuinely sad to lose Aleia, but both of our children have reached ages where they no longer need the same level of care. We cannot recommend her highly enough – any family would be lucky to have someone so dedicated, caring, and naturally gifted with children.
Our nanny, Winnie, is looking for a new role at the end of the summer. She has been a wonderful presence in our lives joining at the start of 2021 when our eldest son was nearly a year old. She helped greatly with the birth and care of our daughter who was born two years later. She has treated our children with kindness and love for over four years and helped them grow into happy, healthy children.
Winnie has helped the children grow and develop, organizing playdates, finding community activities as well as ensuring the kids are intellectually stimulated with age-appropriate play, music and reading. She has taken the effort to connect with other care-givers in the neighborhood, ensuring that the kids have a rich and fulfilling social experiences with their peers as well.
Winnie has helped keep the children healthy with her homemade smoothies and wonderful Jamaican food (I’m a big fan), developed their skills, taking the children to various extracurriculars activities such as soccer and dance, and has been a great source of flexible childcare for dinners out and trips.

Leslie is such a great source of energy when it comes to caring for children. Mine gravitated towards her so quickly. She is reliable and always prepared to take care the child. Communication is a key valuable trait that she has.
Sattie has been working for our family for a while now – initially looking after my second son until he started preschool and then looking after my youngest. We are now moving overseas for an extended period which is why I would love to find Sattie a new family to join who will love her as we have.
Sattie is kind, loving, generous and adores children. My middle son, who does not naturally take to most people, has loved her from the moment she entered our house. The baby squeels and kicks and flaps excitedly as soon as he hears the doorbell in the morning. Even my oldest, who is neurodivergent, trusts her and feels safe with her.
Importantly, whenever Sattie walks in the door, it’s like a huge weight is lifted from me. She is such an amazing carer for the kids, but she also looks after me, doing little things to help out whenever she can, just to make my life a bit easier (I have 3 busy boys).
Over the time that Sattie has worked for us, she has been reliable, on time, flexible with our chaotic lives and always happy to take direction. She prepared my son for preschool by practicing letters, and numbers, reading to him every day, doing arts and crafts and teaching him some Spanish. She speaks Spanish to the baby as well and reads to him every day, structuring his day around learning and fun. With both kids, she has always taken them out every day to let them get fresh air and exercise and find them little friends to meet with regularly at the playground.
Sattie communicates everything clearly about my kids’ day. She is a miracle-worker at getting them to nap in the day (far better than his parents) and helped out with toilet-training my middle son. I would whole-heartedly recommend Sattie as a nannie and would be happy to answer any other questions.
Siv was our nanny for a decade. She started with us when my son was just a month old and stayed with us through my daughter’s birth and until they were in the 4th and 6th grades. To this day, we consider her part of the family and check in with her regularly. We eventually moved away from the city but my kids, now grown, still take Siv to lunch when they visit New York. Siv is EXCELLENT with babies, toddlers, and school aged kids. She is extremely careful, attentive, and loving…..is literally like a 2nd mother in the best way. She always shows up on time. I am pleased to write this letter in strong support of Dianne Gopee for a nanny position. When Sophia experienced her first illnessâa fever and coldâwe were naturally nervous as first-time parents. Amanda guided us through it with calm and confidence. She knew exactly which products to buy, how to soothe and comfort Sophia, and when to escalate if necessary. Her support and clear judgment during that time were invaluable and deeply reassuring.
Most importantly, Amanda fosters a loving and joyful environment. From day one, she formed a genuine bond with Sophia. Our home was filled with music, laughter, and warmth, and it was always clear how happy and secure Sophia felt in her presence. Our nanny Triph is looking for work with newborn to elementary school-aged kids starting in August. Triph has been working with us for 22 years, since my youngest daughter was born. She is extremely reliable, always shows up on time, plans playdates and trips to the park, and managed my three children all by herself.

They will go outside every day rain or shine and will take on any adventure at the park, playground, zoo, library, botanical garden, you name it. Evelyne would independently find different activities, classes, and friends and ask if weâd be interested in having Jules participate (always yes!) or if it was ok to have a playdate over. She spends time teaching Jules letters, numbers, colors, shapes, etc on top of everything else and it has been such a fun surprise to see how much she has learned at her age! Evelyne goes above and beyond in caregiving because she cares as much as we do in doing an amazing job raising a child. We also have two cats, and one makes sure to always hang out around Jules and Evelyne for gentle pets when theyâre around. Even they feel the magic from her!
Evelyne teaches kindness and respect to Jules, and also follows that herself. She is early every single day, communicates to align how we want to navigate parenting situations (feeding, potty training, taming a toddler…), and genuinely makes life with a baby/toddler/kid easier and better. My husband and I both depend on her for so much more than just being a nanny. She has so much experience with children (including two of her own in college!) and it is clear that she loves being a nanny and she takes more pride in her work than anyone I know. Evelyne is such a sense of calm in our house, especially as new parents trying to figure everything out.
