Monday marks Three Kings Day<\/a> (a.k.a. the 12th day of Christmas) and this weekend brings early celebrations like Brooklyn’s Three Kings Day Parade<\/a> and a holiday family workshop<\/a> at the Cathedral Church of St. John the Divine.<\/p>\n

\nHead to the recently renovated Brooklyn Historical Society’s for a fact-packed performance by Deedle Deedle Dees’ front man Lloyd Miller. Learn about the history of the borough through songs, stories and skits. Preregistration required. FREE<\/p>\n

First Saturdays for Families: Architecture and Chris Burden<\/b><\/a> \u2013 Lower East Side<\/b>
\nHead to the New Museum for a kid-friendly tour of the awesome Chris Burden: Extreme Measures<\/i><\/a> retrospective, and then learn about the building’s architectural idiosyncrasies and how they relate to the exhibit. Arrive early: Tickets are given out first come, first served. FREE<\/p>\n

The Gold Rush<\/i><\/b><\/a> \u2013 Greenwich Village<\/b>
\nCatch one of Charlie Chaplin’s greatest silent comedies about searching for gold in turn-of-the-last-century Alaska.
