This past Thursday, I attended the Britax Expo for their three car seats that are being released in July of this year. All I can say is “WOW!”. These car seats are the “mother” of all car seats (no pun intended).
Not only are they beautifully made, but they are also extremely safe. The three car seats that were shown were the Pioneer, the Parkway GL and the Parkway SGL. All of the products are washable, lightweight and extremely durable. They each also come in a variety of colors.
The Pioneer is the new and improved version of the Frontier, and in my opinion, an excellent car seat. Not only does this seat transform from a car seat to a booster, but it grows with your child. Like the other car seats made by Britax, the head piece is adjustable so it is able to be moved up and down depending on your child’s size. So, instead of having to go out and purchase a new car seat every time your child grows, you can just adjust the piece with a quick slide. The transition from car seat to booster is very quick and easy. With a few snaps and pulls, your child goes from a car seat to a big boy or girl booster seat!
At this event, it was evident that safety is the main priority of Britax. Their car seats come with so many new safety technologies that are visible. For example, I was clearly able to see the SafeCell Technology® that is used on the bottom of the seat. SafeCell Technology® is designed so the seat has minimal movement in an accident.
After this expo, Britax has my vote for the safest and cutest car seats of the year!
