BOB, a leader among jogging stroller manufacturers, has brought its first four-wheel, lightweight stroller to the market. I was in SOHO recently to see the new BOB MOTION stroller in action.
And it is impressive. A perfect stroller for city families, at 23 pounds the MOTION can be used from your first days home from the hospital until your child reaches 65 pounds. It features four pneumatic tires (that can be easily refilled as needed with an ordinary bike pump) and quick one-handed folding – making it super efficient for getting in and out of taxis and cars.
An independent spring-suspension system will help absorb the literal bumps in the road, while the large basket will make carrying everything necessary for baby a little less “bumpy.” The padded handlebar is adjustable for both parents’ heights. The smart design will take on all your everyday routine’s demands and is an easy complement to your BOB jogging stroller.
The new stroller includes the Britax Click & Go integrated adapter for convenient attachment to the BOB B-SAFE or Britax Infant Car Seats. And the infant car seat adapter frame (sold separately) makes the MOTION compatible with a variety of other infant car seats. The MOTION offers a padded, supportive seat with an adjustable head-pad, a five-point harness system, and seat-recline. An extra-large canopy shields baby from the sun, and the mesh ventilation window provides a convenient view of your little one.
The MOTION is available now for pre-order exclusively at REI.com ($349.99) in black, orange, and navy. BOB MOTION stroller accessories such as the Snack Tray, Weather Shield, Sun Shield, and Travel Bag (all sold separately), will be available in February.
