Father’s Day

    Find Family Friendly Activities

    Hi Everyone!

In the spirit of Father’s Day this Sunday (and because I seem to have a knack lately for sending out video clips that require a box of tissues to watch!), I am sharing with you a link to a trailer for an award-winning documentary premiering this Sunday, Father’s Day, on HBO. It is about a father’s journey through parenthood with his only child.

The documentary chronicles the director, Doug Block’s, daughter during her last year at home before leaving for college. “Moving fluidly between past, present and the fast-approaching future, Block uses a lifetime of footage to craft not only a loving portrait of a girl transitioning into womanhood, but also an incredibly candid look at modern-day parenting, marriage, and what it means to let go.”

Go here to see the trailer and to find out more about this documentary called, THE KIDS GROW UP.

Question: How are you celebrating Father’s Day this Sunday? Please share below, we’d love to hear from you!

Here’s to the exceptional relationships between fathers and their children. Happy Father’s Day!

    Warmly,

    Heather
