Our former nanny, Latoya, is looking for a new full-time family, and we cannot recommend her highly enough. Latoya was with our family for six years, starting when our oldest daughter was 2 and our second daughter was about to be born. She ultimately cared for all three of our children, including our youngest son from infancy.

Latoya is smart, kind, loving, hardworking, incredibly even-keeled, and simply an upstanding human being. She loved and cared for our children as if they were her own, and we always had 100% confidence that they were safe and well cared for with her.

She is wonderful with infants and older children alike and is very capable managing a busy household and multiple children. She cooked for the kids (and often for us!), handled their laundry, managed multiple school/activity pick-ups and drop-offs, and is extremely comfortable navigating all forms of transportation around NYC.

The only reason we parted ways is that our family’s needs shifted to part-time, while Latoya is looking for a full-time position. We feel incredibly lucky to have had her as part of our family and would be thrilled to see her find another wonderful family.

Helping our amazing nanny find a new family 💜

Hi moms and dads! We’re helping our nanny, Ingrid (GG), find her next family as our childcare needs have changed. She is looking for a full-time nanny position (40–50 hours/week).

GG has been incredibly reliable and dependable. She was always on time, usually arriving at least 10 minutes early and waiting in the lobby. She was also very flexible with our schedule. Whenever we needed her earlier, later, or had a schedule change, she was always willing to help and never said no.

Since GG started with us, she has become so much more than her nanny. They truly became best friends. They’ve shared so many special moments together, from playing in the snow and swimming in the lake to going to playgrounds and the library and helping our daughter make new friends.

One of my favorite things was their morning hair routine before school. They would put on their favorite music, GG would do her hair while our daughter did her dolls’ hair, and when GG finished, she would look in the mirror and proudly say, “I look beautiful!” 🥹💜

GG introduced her to Disney and My Little Pony, which she is now obsessed with! Wherever they went, there was always a pony or a whole bag of them! 🦄 She also helped her learn to share and make friends. It was really hard at first, but eventually she would leave the house already planning which toys she wanted to bring for a specific friend.
GG has also been wonderful with potty training, routines, manners, and encouraging independence. She even helped us transition from using the stroller to walking, which made such a difference. We can now take the subway with her without any problems!

We are so grateful for all the love, patience, creativity, and fun GG has brought into our daughter’s life. We are sad our childcare needs have changed, but we know another family will be very lucky to have her. 💜

After more than six incredible years with our family, we’re looking for a wonderful new family for our nanny, Yaya. ❤️

This is honestly one of the hardest parts of our move from New York to Europe. Yaya has been with us since our middle daughter was a newborn and has become part of our family. We truly love her like a family member. If we could bring her with us, we would in a heartbeat, but she needs to stay in New York with her family.

I truly can’t say enough good things about her. She is unbelievably reliable, calm, loving, and capable. When our second daughter was born, Carmen was there from day one. She has cared for both of our girls through every stage, from newborns to elementary school and now into the pre-teen years. She has become part of our family.

I still remember those early days as a first-time mom. I worried about everything: naps, bottles, feeding schedules, whether my daughter was happy, and whether she was getting enough sleep. Going back to work felt overwhelming. But once Carmen was there, I never spent my day wondering if my daughter was okay. I knew she was safe, loved, and being cared for like she was Carmen’s own.

Only six months after Carmen joined our family, my husband and I both had to travel out of the country for work. We had no family nearby, and Carmen took care of our daughter at her home while we were away. Even as a first-time mom, I never worried about whether she was okay. That says so much about how quickly Carmen became someone we trusted and relied on.

Carmen was also great about keeping us connected to the girls during the day, sending pictures and sharing funny stories about what they had been up to. Those little updates meant so much to us.

Carmen truly loves kids, and they love her right back. She is always taking them on adventures, whether that means exploring a new playground, spending the afternoon at the library or a museum, heading to a class, or simply getting outside to play. She also makes the everyday moments special. Some of my favorite memories are walking into the house and hearing the three of them laughing in another room. They would be building blanket forts, putting on little shows, making crafts, baking together, or just being silly. They genuinely love spending time with her.

One thing that has always stood out to me is how naturally Carmen connects with people. She is comfortable with everyone, whether other nannies, parents, grandparents, or neighbors. She makes people feel comfortable and builds friendships wherever she goes. Our girls always had wonderful playdates, friends to meet at the park, and a real sense of community.

We have moved four times while Carmen has been with us. Every time, she quickly figured out everything from the best playgrounds and libraries to classes and activities. Before long, she knew the neighborhood, had built a new community, and helped our girls feel completely at home.

As our girls got older, Carmen seamlessly adapted to each new stage. She went from bottles and naps to keeping track of busy schedules and playdates, getting them to activities, helping with homework, and encouraging them to become confident and independent. She has also been a true partner to us as parents. Carmen is incredibly intuitive and understands what our family needs. As the girls became more independent, she naturally took on other responsibilities around the house, seeing what needed to be done and stepping in without being asked.

Carmen is incredibly dependable and trustworthy. In 10 years, I never questioned whether she would show up or whether my children were being cared for. She has also been wonderfully flexible over the years, staying late or overnight when needed and traveling with us. She became the person we relied on every single day.

Now that both of our girls are in school full time and increasingly independent, Carmen is looking for a new family with a baby or young child who is not yet in school. She loves those early years and would love to find another family she can grow with over the long term.

Any family would be so lucky to have Carmen. She will love your children, keep them active, help them build confidence and friendships, and become someone your whole family comes to rely on. Our wonderful nanny, Karen, is seeking a full-time position starting ASAP (M-F +/- 40 hours/week).
She’s been with us for about two years. She’s an amazing nanny, great with children! She taught our daughter to walk, talk, count, say her ABC’s etc.
Her responsibilities were primarily related to our daughter: food preparation, her dishes, bathing, laundry, as well as taking her to local classes:
Gymboree, Music, Storytime, Side by Side, Doctor’s appointments, etc. She does it all!
Karen has been an integral part of our family. And even stayed with us to ensure our daughter has adjusted to school. This goes to show her wonderful character. But most importantly, Karen is a warm, patient, forward-thinking nanny who loves our daughter like her own. She has a gift with children and is both fun-loving and firm.
Her ideal employment would be with a baby or young child. Karen is a US citizen with an adult daughter. She is available to start this ASAP, but can be flexible regarding the start date.

Celia has been with us for two years, caring for our son from infancy into toddlerhood. Her previous roles included 10 years with one family and seven with another, reflecting the lasting relationships she builds. She remains in touch with her first family and was even invited to the college graduation of the first child she cared for after all these years. Two other families even tried to persuade her to move with them to New Jersey and Brooklyn so they could continue working with her.

A few of the things we have especially valued about her:

• She is incredibly safety-conscious and attentive and is proactive about bringing anything new or concerning to our attention.

• She is genuinely engaged with our son throughout the day. She reads with him, sings, plays ball, does activities and gets down on the floor to play. She is never on her phone unless she is coordinating something for him.

• She knows Manhattan incredibly well, especially the Upper East and Upper West Sides and is great about finding parks, libraries, activities and other places for kids to explore. She also coordinates playdates and has helped our son build his own little community in the neighborhood.

• She is exceptionally dependable. She has always been very reliable (and flexible!) with our schedule, especially when last minute things pop up for me or regular date nights and being able to accommodate.

• She prepares meals for our son and is comfortable handling the everyday things that make a household with a young child run more smoothly, including his laundry, dishes, cleaning floors, sanitizing toys and keeping his spaces neat.

• She respects the way we choose to parent, follows our routines and is very consistent about communicating with us throughout the day.

Celia is experienced, capable, professional and truly cares about the children she looks after. Our change is entirely because my work schedule is changing, and if our circumstances were different, we would happily continue having her with us full-time. She will need to be paid on the books.

I’ll be moving to part-time work this fall, so she is available for a full-time position or a nanny share with us. We could offer 10 hours per week, with another family providing at least 30. An October start would work well, but we’re flexible if the right opportunity comes along sooner or later. My work hours are also flexible, so we can accommodate another family’s schedule. Our priority is helping her find a family who will truly value the care and commitment she brings to her work.

Ana worked four years for my family. Ana quickly became an important part of our family and someone we could rely on completely. She was responsible for all aspects of our son’s care during her time with him, including his personal care, and overall well-being. Our daughter is starting daycare this fall, and our wonderful nanny is looking for a new full-time role! Barbara has worked as a nanny for more than 20 years, and has experience with newborns, infants, toddlers, and multiples. Working with Nerisia has been an absolute dream for the last 3.5 years. Nerisia approaches every day with kindness, energy, and adventure. She is fantastic with newborns and has supported our daughter’s development from 6 weeks through all of her major milestones. Our beloved Isidora (Isi) is newly free to share in the growth of another lucky family! Since my daughter (Bayla Rose) was 5 months old (now over 12y) Isi has provided loving, educational, adventurous, reliable care. Come to think of it, not just for Bayla, but for our whole extended family. She was full-time with us through 2018, then part-time until 2024. Her latest family just moved out of the area so there is the rare opportunity to snap her up full-time for your child.

From tender babyhood through active toddler and school years Isi provided superb care for my daughter, our aging dog, and the whole family! She is the type of caregiver who didn’t just read to Bayla, she created a cozy, interactive, learning time with books–did the whole bit: voices, taught words in English and in Spanish while still giving Bayla room to identify pictures, letters and numbers for herself. Isi didn’t hesitate to roll around on the floor playing “sick” when Bayla was imagining she was a doctor for the umpteenth time.

Isi was the type of caregiver who orchestrated long, joyful days with Bayla assuming the responsibility of full-time parent while I was on shift for 12 hours at a stretch. Each day with us lasted over hours. During that time Isi independently navigated Bayla’s feeding, napping, and hygiene as an infant then when Bayla was older playdates, playground romps, in-home time with dolls, trucks, play kitchen stuff and other toys, not to mention artsy projects, meals, light housework, laundry, older kid personal hygiene and bedtime.

Always punctual, typically early, Isi frequently stayed late without a peep of complaint (as often happened since I work in a Pediatric ER.) She asked for help when (and if) she needed it and took instruction well, though she rarely needed that. In fact, she often kept Bayla on a more consistent playing, learning, eating, bathing, etc. schedule than I (her mother) managed to.

She is a loving and fun addition to our family and always professional. If Bayla weren’t in Middle School with minimal after-school care needs, I’d have kept Isi on full-time.
