Our circumstances have changed, and we are very sad to part ways with Lupe, but we share our highest recommendation for Lupe as a full-time nanny. She worked with us for the past three years, caring for our two daughters, now 3 years old and 9 months old.

Lupe has been an exceptional caregiver from day one. Her daily responsibilities included preparing meals for the girls, managing their laundry, keeping their spaces clean and organized, and — something we especially valued — enforcing a no-screen-time policy in favor of hands-on, developmentally engaging activities. She was endlessly creative and excelled exceptionally in this regard, regularly planning indoor and outdoor activities including art, building blocks, dolls, stuffed animals, music, singing, books, library visits, museum visits, playgrounds, park outings and playdates that kept our daughters curious and active.

Lupe’s defining quality is the genuine love and dedication she brought to her role. She cared for our girls as if they were her own. Our eldest daughter, who has always been particular about who she trusts, attached to Lupe almost immediately — a testament to the warmth and security Lupe provides. Lupe was also unfailingly punctual and reliable, and she went well beyond her normal hours whenever we needed her. During my postpartum recovery, she came in every day to help put our toddler to sleep and worked weekends without hesitation, all so our family could get the support we needed during that time.

Additionally, Lupe has a wonderful personality and is a truly good person. She is warm, energetic, and highly sociable. Lupe’s personality set a loving tone for the character of our household. She is loved by our respective families, by the nannies who care for our daughter’s friends, and by the staff and teachers at our daughter’s school. Lupe is leaving our family only because our circumstances have changed, as we will require less childcare going forward. Lupe’s departure has left a hole in our lives and household, and she will be dearly missed.

Working with Nerisia has been an absolute dream for the last 3.5 years. Nerisia approaches every day with kindness, energy, and adventure. She is fantastic with newborns and has supported our daughter’s development from 6 weeks through all of her major milestones. She has organized her meals every day, done laundry each week for both of our kids, and has curated exciting daily adventures around New York City. She has organized a wonderful playgroup for our daughter and even arranged and decorated her birthday parties. Tasi has been an incredibly important part of our family’s journey. Wonderful Full-Time Nanny Available

Our former nanny, Latoya, is looking for a new full-time family, and we cannot recommend her highly enough. Latoya was with our family for six years, starting when our oldest daughter was 2 and our second daughter was about to be born. She ultimately cared for all three of our children, including our youngest son from infancy.

Latoya is smart, kind, loving, hardworking, incredibly even-keeled, and simply an upstanding human being. She loved and cared for our children as if they were her own, and we always had 100% confidence that they were safe and well cared for with her.

She is wonderful with infants and older children alike and is very capable managing a busy household and multiple children. She cooked for the kids (and often for us!), handled their laundry, managed multiple school/activity pick-ups and drop-offs, and is extremely comfortable navigating all forms of transportation around NYC.

The only reason we parted ways is that our family’s needs shifted to part-time, while Latoya is looking for a full-time position. We feel incredibly lucky to have had her as part of our family and would be thrilled to see her find another wonderful family.
