We are sadly parting ways with our nanny, Sherieka, who has been with us since March 2025, as we are moving out of the city. She first joined us as our night nurse and transitioned into a full-time position when I returned to work.
Sherieka is truly fantastic and everything you could hope for in a nanny. She is incredibly reliable, knowledgeable, trustworthy, professional, and communicative and simply a pure joy to be around. She is highly proactive and takes wonderful initiative in planning my daughter’s days, bringing her to classes, the playground, the park, the library, and outings with peers. They have created such a wonderful bond, and it is evident that my daughter loves her so much.
Sherieka brings such a positive, fun energy while also maintaining a calm and steady presence. She has taught my daughter so much, including sign language, songs, and more, which has been incredibly valuable for her development. Most importantly, I completely trust her judgment and know she always has my daughter’s best interests at heart, especially when I’m at work.
I can’t say enough positive things about her, and we will truly, truly miss her as she has become an incredible part of our family. Any family would be lucky to have her.
Our beloved nanny Olga will be available starting July 1 for a new full-time position (30+ hours/week) as we are finishing medical training and moving out of NY. Olga began caring for my daughter when she was 9 weeks old when I returned to work and has been with us for two years. My partner and I have both been in medical training during this time and her flexibility adjusting her hours to our rotation schedule and her dependability afforded us so much peace of mind. She is fluent in both English and Spanish and is based in Woodside, Queens.
Some highlights:
✔️ 40 years of experience caring for babies and young children
✔️ Committed to screen-free childcare and age-appropriate development (I attribute much of my daughter’s friendliness and language development to her)
✔️ Deeply patient, warm, and nurturing
✔️ Ensured a well-balanced, nutritious diet every single day
✔️ Successfully helped potty train my daughter at 2 years old
✔️ Kept my daughter’s room tidy and managed her laundry
✔️ Flexible with hours, including weekends
She would be an incredible asset to any family and we cannot recommend her highly enough. We wish we could move her with us to our next location but we are moving out of the country.
If you are looking for a trustworthy, experienced, and deeply caring nanny — especially for a newborn — please reach out.
Gloria has been an incredible part of our family and has cared for our children with the same love, attention, and dedication as if they were her own. At times, it feels like she is taking care of all of us, not just the kids. She is exceptionally caring, attentive, patient, and engaged every single day.
She is constantly reading with the children, planning activities, taking them outdoors, and keeping them active and stimulated. She takes them to the library multiple times a week and genuinely enjoys helping them learn, explore, and grow. Everywhere we go, people in town recognize her and often stop us to compliment how attentive and interactive she is with the children.
She starts and ends every day with our kids with a big hug and a smile. Not once has she ever come in with a “bad mood” — she consistently brings warmth, positivity, and energy into our home every single day.
She has been with our oldest son (6) since he was just 3 months old and our daughter since she was born (4). Gloria has played a massive role in helping both children become happy, emotionally intelligent, creative, smart and confident. She is also incredibly dependable and always willing to stay extra time when needed to help us transition from work, handle last-minute responsibilities or squeeze in a date night.
She was so comforting and reassuring when she came into our lives as new parents and has grown to become a part of our family.
Our lives truly would not be the same without her. The impact she has had on our family and especially on our children has been immeasurable.
To Whom It May Concern,
I am pleased to highly recommend Lesley Ann Stephenson, who has worked with my family for over five years. She has been an exceptional caregiver and has consistently gone above and beyond in providing outstanding care and support for my children.
Lesley ensures that all of my children’s needs are met each day. She assists with school pickups, makes sure homework is completed, and prepares dinner for the children regularly. By the time I arrive home, the children are clean, settled, and ready for bed, which has been an incredible help to our family.
In addition to caring for the children, Lesley also helps with light housekeeping duties, complementing the work of our weekly housekeeper and helping keep our home organized and running smoothly.
What truly sets Lesley apart is the genuine bond she has built with my children. As they have grown older, they continue to love spending time with her and enjoy her company immensely. She has become a trusted and valued part of our family. We have even invited her to travel with us on vacations because of the trust, reliability, and comfort she brings.
Lesley is truly a treasure, and any family would be fortunate to have her as a caregiver. I recommend her wholeheartedly and without hesitation.
I cannot recommend Andrea (aka Jackie) highly enough! Words truly fall short, but I will try.
Jackie is, quite simply, the embodiment of the phrase “above and beyond.” From day 1, her presence will bring a level of peace, competence, and grounded confidence into your home that you likely didn’t even realize was missing.
Jackie is a quintessential NYC Nanny, and as such, she is currently seeking a quintessential NYC Nanny position: Long term and full-time, ideally with an infant or toddler. She is open to All of New York City and Northern NJ as well. (Hoboken/Weehawken, Edgewater, Bergen County, etc)
Where should I even begin? She is college-educated with over 20 years of childcare experience, and fluent/bilingual in English and Spanish, which in itself is an incredible gift for your children.
Her approach to childcare is exceptional and deeply rooted in modern, respectful, gentle philosophies. When I first met her, she said with total confidence: “RIE and Montessori, that is simply WHAT I DO!!!” Man oh man she absolutely meant it! She embodies these methods in a way that is both knowledgeable and deeply human/relatable. She understands infant and toddler development intuitively and responds to children with patience, respect, and remarkable skill, especially in tricky toddler moments.
I am a mom of 2 under 2, and during my postpartum period, Jackie quite literally helped bring my entire household back to life. She didn’t just “help.” She jumped right in, restored order, calmness, and warmth to what was an overwhelming season of pure chaos before she stepped in. She instinctively knows how to support every single member of the family, maintains discretion, yet proactively meets every need without being asked. When Jackie rings the bell, it genuinely feels like a weight lifts off your shoulders instantly.
Beyond childcare, which is her specialty, Jackie’s cooking and household skills are also are pristine. Her food is not just nourishing, it is genuinely made with appreciation of culture, love, and care.
Jackie always took the initiative to plan thoughtful neighborhood outings, engaging activities, and enriching experiences for the children, both indoors and outdoors. She moves through the city with the confidence of a “city-slicker” and arrives punctually.
Most importantly, Jackie genuinely LOVES what she does, which unfortunately is rare to find in today’s time. Being a Nanny is not just a paycheck to her, it’s her life’s work and she’s proud to put her name on it every single day.
Your children will be loved, understood, active, and fully immersed in Spanish if Jackie is part of your home. I promise you, the entire household will function better, calmer, and happier because of her presence! I know it’s overwhelming to find a Nanny, so do yourself a favor and stop interviewing others. SHE IS THE ONE!
We are relocating after nearly seven years with the most exceptional nanny our family could have ever hoped for, and we cannot recommend her highly enough.
She joined us when our daughter was a newborn and has been a steady, trusted, beloved part of our family ever since. Over those years, she has demonstrated extraordinary skill, intuition, and dedication at every stage of our daughter’s development — from infant care to toddlerhood to the busy, full world of a soon-to-be seven-year-old.
Her strengths are many: she is organized and reliable, communicative and collaborative with parents, imaginative and engaged with our daughter, and unshakably calm in any situation. She has always come to us as a true partner proactively sharing updates, flagging concerns thoughtfully.
Beyond her capabilities, she is simply a wonderful person- kind, trustworthy, and genuinely devoted to the children in her care. Our daughter adores her. We adore her. Letting her go is one of the hardest parts of this move, and we do so only knowing that another family is about to receive something very special.
I believe there is no greater testament than to entrust a person with the care and oversight of one’s child – my wife and I have done just that with Omwattie (Jennifer) Williams, as she has taken care of our now 13–year old daughter since she was just four months old.
Over the past decade and more, we have come to know Jennifer as a morally upright woman, a dedicated mother whose background as an educator of young children has shone through in raising her own children from smart boys into strong men. This dedication is matched only by her devotion to her husband, who practices medicine in their native Guyana.
Jennifer values family, friendship and laughter, learning in all forms, culture, nurturing food and a good book. She is highly dependable, trustworthy and conscientious – we recommend her as nanny and sitter without reservation and if helpful, would be happy to speak further upon her behalf.
Additional Profile / Qualifications:
– Kind and gentle former school teacher who is wonderful with children (ages 0 – 10+)
– Handles light cleaning and laundry for our family
– Excellent cook when requested
– Adept at coordinating, managing playdates, navigating city and subways
– Open to dog-walking, depending on breed (we have a small morkie)
We can’t say enough good things about Isidora. She cared for our daughter when we were first-time parents, and her warmth, patience, and steady presence made a huge difference during that time. She has a natural way with babies and always made us feel that our child was safe, understood, and genuinely loved.
Even now, with our daughter in school, we still turn to Isidora for occasional babysitting. Our daughter remembers her fondly and lights up when she sees her. Isidora has stayed in our lives in thoughtful ways, including remembering birthdays and sending gifts, which speaks to the kind of person she is.
She is reliable, kind, and deeply attentive. Always on time and never on her phone when watching kids. Any family would be lucky to have her, and we recommend her without hesitation. Please reach out to her at 347-813-9745.
It is with great pleasure that I offer a wholehearted recommendation of our former nanny, Yanie Tajon. Yanie has been an incredible addition to our family over the last several years. Any family that has the chance to work with Yanie will find themselves very lucky.
Yanie began working with us when my son was 4 months old, and was with us for 3.5 hears, also taking care of my younger daughter when she was born. We parted ways only because we moved out of the country, and we all miss Yanie greatly. She exudes warmth and love, and she and my children built an incredible bond. She is kind, gentle, compassionate, and professional. Yanie is a clear and direct communicator, especially when it comes to our children’s needs and development, and has always been open to feedback and discussion. She brings a wealth of experience raising children – not only her own now-adult sons but also multiple families she’s worked with long-term in the New York City area over the last two decades.
In terms of the more tactical parts of the job, Yanie is incredibly reliable and always on time. Her hours with us tended to be mostly stable week to week, but she was also willing to come early or stay later if needed and if her schedule allows. She is proactive and organized. She is quite outgoing and built a community with many other nannies and children, so it felt like my kids from a very early age had great social exposure and friendships. She was always supportive of plans we made for the kids (i.e. music and gym classes), but also independently set up playdates, trips to the zoo, library, and playgrounds, etc. to ensure our children were stimulated and challenged, and was resourceful as well with crafts and activities as my son grew older. She went above and beyond to help around the house if our children are napping and helped keep our lives overall (not just the kids!) running smoothly.
We are incredibly grateful for the time Yanie spent with our family, and want to support her to find a role with a great family. Her preference would be to join a family with 1 newborn, but she would be open to a newborn and an older sibling.
I cannot recommend Shantel highly enough. From the very beginning, she cared for our baby with such genuine love and attentiveness that it truly felt like she became part of our family. She was with my family for 10 weeks, 6 days a week. As a night nurse, she brought not only deep knowledge and professionalism, but also warmth, kindness, and a wonderful sense of humor that made those early, often exhausting weeks so much easier.
Shantel is incredibly trustworthy and dependable. You can rest easy knowing your baby is in the best possible hands. She has an intuitive understanding of newborn care and sleep routines, and thanks to her guidance and consistency, our baby was sleeping through the night by just 7 weeks old. Even now, at 20 months, those healthy sleep habits she helped establish are still going strong.
Beyond her expertise, what sets Shantel apart is the way she cares for the entire family. She brought calm, reassurance, and positivity into our home every single day. Her presence was a gift during such a special (and sometimes overwhelming) time.
Any family would be beyond lucky to have Shantel as a night nurse or nanny. She is truly exceptional in every way.
Standout things about Domsy:
1. She immediately made our daughter feel comfortable.
2. Ensured our daughter was engaged intellectually and socially everyday! Coordinated play dates, outings to the park and library, story times…
3. She worked around our schedule and habits from day 1
4. Frequently asked for feedback about herself to make sure we were happy.
5. She created food recipes to our fussy daughter and constantly helped around the house , without asking
She’s is a mother of two teen children ages 17 and 14, a certified in New born Care Specialist and CPR trained. She has over 10 years of experience with newborn, toddlers and twins and multiple children. She’s creates firm boundaries and structure for the children in her care while showering them with tones of love.
Any family she joins next would be very lucky to have her as part of their team.
Because we moved from NYC, we had to part ways with our phenomenal nanny after 11 wonderful years together. From the moment Annie met our son at just four months old, we knew he would always be safe, loved, and in exceptional hands.
Over the years, teachers, parents, neighbors, and friends consistently commented on how special Annie is and how fortunate we were to have her caring for our son.
We were the third family Annie worked with, and she has a long-standing history of staying with families for many years. She is excellent with children of all ages and incredibly reliable—never once late and rarely, if ever, taking a sick day. We could always depend on her to manage daily routines seamlessly, from appointments to activities, ensuring our son was safe, prepared, and well cared for at all times. As he grew, she continued to support his busy schedule, getting him to and from school, sports, and appointments with ease.
What truly sets Annie apart is the level of attention and care she brings each day. She was always fully engaged—never distracted—and spent her time playing, doing arts and crafts, and creating meaningful experiences with our son. We still have many of the projects they made together, and to this day, he adores her (he has always called her “My Annie”).
From infancy through adolescence, Annie supported every stage of his development. She prepared homemade meals when he was young and continued to cook thoughtful, healthy meals and snacks as he grew. Each evening, we returned home to a happy, well-cared-for child who had been fed, bathed, and fully engaged throughout the day.
She also made time off from school incredibly special—planning outings to museums, parks, and other enriching activities. Her ability to balance fun, learning, and social interaction was exceptional.
Beyond her caregiving, Annie is deeply loyal and became a trusted partner in our parenting journey. Her instincts, experience, and genuine love for children made a lasting impact on our son and our family. Many of the qualities he has today are a reflection of her influence.
While it was incredibly difficult to say goodbye, we are excited for the next family who will benefit from Annie’s care. She is truly one of a kind.
We often say we “won the lottery” when Annie came into our lives—and what she gave to our son is truly priceless.
NOTE: she will do laundry and cook for the children.
It is with both gratitude and sadness that I write this reference for our incredible nanny, who has been with our family for the past 2.5 years. She has been such a meaningful part of our lives, and it is only due to my recent job relocation to another state that we are parting ways.
From the very beginning, she brought warmth, reliability, and genuine care into our home. She consistently created a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for our children, always going above and beyond to support their growth and happiness. Her patience, attentiveness, and ability to connect with them on their level made a lasting impact not just on them, but on our entire family.
She always made sure the kids had meaningful interaction throughout the day by organizing playdates and taking them to classes, keeping them active, social, and engaged.
She is dependable, communicative, and incredibly thoughtful. Whether it was managing daily routines, planning activities, or simply being a steady and comforting presence, she handled everything with professionalism and heart. I always felt completely at ease knowing my children were in her care.
Beyond her role as a caregiver, she truly became part of our family. Her kindness, positivity, and strong work ethic are qualities that any household would be lucky to have.
I wholeheartedly recommend her to any family seeking a trustworthy, dedicated, and loving nanny. She will be deeply missed, and any family would be fortunate to have her.
Please feel free to reach out at 929-232-4297 if you have any questions.
Moni has been an invaluable part of our family for 3 years — from the time I brought my daughter home from the hospital, to her first day at “school” and the start of my second pregnancy. She is intuitive and protective. Moni taught my daughter her alphabet and numbers quite early, always found interesting library and music classes, and helped her make friends at the park who she still considers her closest friends. I asked her to speak Spanish exclusively to my daughter to fortify the language, and she absolutely did. Moni also made sure my first floor was immaculately tidy every time upon my return from work. I interviewed a LOT of people before I landed on Moni, and I cannot speak more highly of her, she is certainly a gem.
We are so excited to recommend our former incredible nanny, Melissa, to a new family through Mommybites!
Melissa was an essential part of our family, she brings over 24 years of hands-on childcare experience with children ranging from as young as 6 weeks old through the early teen years. She is not only deeply nurturing and attentive, but also incredibly knowledgeable when it comes to child development, routines, and milestones. As a mother of three adult daughters, she brings both professional expertise and real-life parenting wisdom into every home she enters.
Melissa arrives each day with a happy, energetic disposition, ready to get the day started. She is a true self-starter, and the children naturally gravitate toward her. She has a gift for creating a warm, loving, and structured environment where children feel safe, supported, and truly seen. From introducing solids and managing sleep regressions to potty training and navigating toddler transitions, she approaches every stage with patience, confidence, and care.
She is dependable, proactive, and fully invested in the well-being of the children she cares for. Melissa takes initiative in assuming all responsibilities related to the children, including meal prep, organizing schedules, planning engaging activities, and ensuring each child’s emotional and developmental needs are met. She also helps with light household tasks, which she consistently initiates on her own without needing direction.
Melissa is a true team player—direct, transparent, and communicative with parents—making her not only an exceptional caregiver for children but also a strong support system for the entire family. She goes above and beyond in every aspect of her role, bringing dedication, warmth, and professionalism into the home. Most importantly, she treats the children as if they were her own—with genuine love and care.
Melissa is currently available part time through June and full time beginning mid September, and she’s looking to join a new family where she can continue to offer her exceptional care and become a trusted, support system.
Any family would be truly lucky to have her. Please feel free to reach out for more details or a direct reference. We cannot recommend her enough!!
She is loving, caring,
happy, responsible and reliable. She is amazing at engaging children at different age groups, arranging play dates with my son’s friends, very friendly with my sons friends and parents, helped with potty training, and helped him learn his numbers and letters. She created a routine schedule of learning and creative play for my son. Anyone who knows or works with children knows routine is key and she excelled. She has all the attributes you look for in a nanny.
I cannot recommend our incredible nanny Shondell highly enough. She has been an integral part of our family for the past 2.5 years, caring for my child with exceptional patience, warmth, and dedication.
Shondell is reliable, trustworthy, and genuinely nurturing. Every day, She created a safe, engaging, and structured environment—planning age-appropriate activities, encouraging learning and development, and ensuring my child always felt supported, happy, and secure.
She consistently went above and beyond in every aspect of her role, from maintaining routines and preparing meals to keeping everything organized and running smoothly. Shondell’s professionalism and natural ability with children truly set her apart.
We are only parting ways because our family is relocating—otherwise, we would keep Shondell forever. Any family would be incredibly lucky to have her.
Shondell is now seeking a full-time nanny position in Manhattan or Downtown Brooklyn with a loving family.
Please feel free to message me for more details or a direct reference – I would be more than happy to speak on her behalf.
Our wonderful nanny, Sherry who’s been with our family since our daughter, Harriet was four months old, will be available starting April 2026.
We are going to miss Sherry enormously! She has helped our Harriet develop beautifully within a loving, calm, enthusiastic social environment, treating our family (and dog!) like her own. She is reliable, professional, and has an uncanny ability to understand and entertain little ones that seems to come easily to her that’s amazing to witness.
My wife is now able to spend her full time at home with Harriet, and Sherry’s helped her and I both establish a good routine with Harriet’s care. While we no longer need full-time childcare support, saying goodbye to Sherry is very bittersweet, and we feel beyond grateful for having found her.
We are both more than happy to chat about our experience with Sherry and speak to her qualifications and expertise. My (Jon) cell is 914-500-5866 and wife Anastasia’s cell is 203-524-3795, and please feel free to reach out to either of us. Cheers!
We said goodbye to our beloved nanny, Nadine, as we moved, and we’re still hoping to help her find the amazing family she deserves. She has experience working with all age groups.
Nadine is so much more than a nanny-she’s loving, proactive, and incredibly skilled at fostering a child’s growth.
She helped raise our daughter into a confident, bilingual (French/English) little girl, all while filling her days with adventure, learning, joy., and lots of outdoor time.
She sets thoughtful boundaries with patience, cooks incredible meals, and brings warmth and structure into the home. Any family would be lucky to have her—we know we were

Nellie has been a responsible, and devoted babysitter for us for the past 15 years, and has helped us raise our twins from infancy thru to becoming mature teenagers. She is reliable, trustworthy, and will work overtime and on short notice to help your family thrive and give the parents much needed time for themselves. She always is eager to help in household tasks and has gone out of her way to make sure our youngster’s feel loved and protected, and so that their needs are well attended to.
