Nellie has been a responsible, and devoted babysitter for us for the past 15 years, and has helped us raise our twins from infancy thru to becoming mature teenagers. She is reliable, trustworthy, and will work overtime and on short notice to help your family thrive and give the parents much needed time for themselves. She always is eager to help in household tasks and has gone out of her way to make sure our youngster’s feel loved and protected, and so that their needs are well attended to.

We are sadly parting ways with our nanny, Sherieka, who has been with us since March 2025, as we are moving out of the city. She first joined us as our night nurse and transitioned into a full-time position when I returned to work.

Sherieka is truly fantastic and everything you could hope for in a nanny. She is incredibly reliable, knowledgeable, trustworthy, professional, and communicative and simply a pure joy to be around. She is highly proactive and takes wonderful initiative in planning my daughter’s days, bringing her to classes, the playground, the park, the library, and outings with peers. They have created such a wonderful bond, and it is evident that my daughter loves her so much.

Sherieka brings such a positive, fun energy while also maintaining a calm and steady presence. She has taught my daughter so much, including sign language, songs, and more, which has been incredibly valuable for her development. Most importantly, I completely trust her judgment and know she always has my daughter’s best interests at heart, especially when I’m at work.

I can’t say enough positive things about her, and we will truly, truly miss her as she has become an incredible part of our family. Any family would be lucky to have her.

Our beloved nanny Olga will be available starting July 1 for a new full-time position (30+ hours/week) as we are finishing medical training and moving out of NY. Olga began caring for my daughter when she was 9 weeks old when I returned to work and has been with us for two years. My partner and I have both been in medical training during this time and her flexibility adjusting her hours to our rotation schedule and her dependability afforded us so much peace of mind. She is fluent in both English and Spanish and is based in Woodside, Queens.

Gloria has been an incredible part of our family and has cared for our children with the same love, attention, and dedication as if they were her own. It is with great pleasure that I offer a wholehearted recommendation of our former nanny, Yanie Tajon. Yanie has been an incredible addition to our family over the last several years. Any family that has the chance to work with Yanie will find themselves very lucky.

Yanie began working with us when my son was 4 months old, and was with us for 3.5 hears, also taking care of my younger daughter when she was born. We parted ways only because we moved out of the country, and we all miss Yanie greatly. She exudes warmth and love, and she and my children built an incredible bond. She is kind, gentle, compassionate, and professional. Yanie is a clear and direct communicator, especially when it comes to our children’s needs and development, and has always been open to feedback and discussion. She brings a wealth of experience raising children – not only her own now-adult sons but also multiple families she’s worked with long-term in the New York City area over the last two decades.

In terms of the more tactical parts of the job, Yanie is incredibly reliable and always on time. Her hours with us tended to be mostly stable week to week, but she was also willing to come early or stay later if needed and if her schedule allows. She is proactive and organized. She is quite outgoing and built a community with many other nannies and children, so it felt like my kids from a very early age had great social exposure and friendships. She was always supportive of plans we made for the kids (i.e. music and gym classes), but also independently set up playdates, trips to the zoo, library, and playgrounds, etc. to ensure our children were stimulated and challenged, and was resourceful as well with crafts and activities as my son grew older. She went above and beyond to help around the house if our children are napping and helped keep our lives overall (not just the kids!) running smoothly.

We are incredibly grateful for the time Yanie spent with our family, and want to support her to find a role with a great family. Her preference would be to join a family with 1 newborn, but she would be open to a newborn and an older sibling.

I cannot recommend Shantel highly enough. From the very beginning, she cared for our baby with such genuine love and attentiveness that it truly felt like she became part of our family. She was with my family for 10 weeks, 6 days a week. As a night nurse, she brought not only deep knowledge and professionalism, but also warmth, kindness, and a wonderful sense of humor that made those early, often exhausting weeks so much easier.

Shantel is incredibly trustworthy and dependable. You can rest easy knowing your baby is in the best possible hands. She has an intuitive understanding of newborn care and sleep routines, and thanks to her guidance and consistency, our baby was sleeping through the night by just 7 weeks old. Even now, at 20 months, those healthy sleep habits she helped establish are still going strong.

Beyond her expertise, what sets Shantel apart is the way she cares for the entire family. She brought calm, reassurance, and positivity into our home every single day. Her presence was a gift during such a special (and sometimes overwhelming) time.

Because we moved from NYC, we had to part ways with our phenomenal nanny after 11 wonderful years together. From the moment Annie met our son at just four months old, we knew he would always be safe, loved, and in exceptional hands.

Moni has been an invaluable part of our family for 3 years — from the time I brought my daughter home from the hospital, to her first day at “school” and the start of my second pregnancy.  She is intuitive and protective.  Moni taught my daughter her alphabet and numbers quite early, always found interesting library and music classes, and helped her make friends at the park who she still considers her closest friends.
