Jen seamlessly joined our family in January right after our son was born. She brought with her many years of experience and a sense of calm that instilled confidence in two new parents nervous about the transition back to work. She has been with us for four years, caring for our son and daughter since we returned to work after each was born. Our kids absolutely love her. We recently moved to New Jersey, which is why we are helping Jen to find a full-time position with a family she can grow with.
Jen is a knowledgeable and experienced childcare professional with 25+ years experience as a nanny working with all age kids, especially babies and toddlers. First and foremost, she is loving and patient. She has cared for our children (and for us) as though they are members of her own family. She is always attentive to our children’s ever evolving needs and has supported our family through many milestones – sleep training, learning to eat, physical milestones, potty training, welcoming a second child to the mix etc.. She has ensured that our children eat delicious and nutritious meals since she joined our family (our kids love her cooking!). She keeps the kids rooms and toys neat even with 2 kids constantly on the go, and the kids always have clean laundry and beds. She is always on time and is flexible to start early or stay later when we have a need that arises.
Jen also loves to be out and about with the kids, taking them around the neighborhood to parks and playgrounds, to gym & music classes, and organizing playdates. At home she sings and reads to them, and gets down on the floor with them to play. She sends pictures during the day so my husband and I feel a part of their adventures.
We cannot speak highly enough of Jen, and are happy to get on a reference call and share more about Jen live. She has become an important part of our family, and we are confident she will do the same with her next family.
Yvonne took care of our daughter from when she was 14 months old until now (27 months old) full time. She has been great with the transition from baby to toddler, helping transition from 2-1 nap, say bye to paci, and potty training. She helps around the house with my daughter’s laundry (washes, folds, and puts away), family dishes, and organizing my daughter’s books/toys. She is flexible on timing and stays late whenever we need her to. She is extremely reliable and communicative – doesn’t call out sick and plans vacations around ours.
Yvonne lives in Brooklyn and is open to many neighborhoods. In the West Village where we live, she has many nanny friends and knows all the best parks, playgrounds, libraries, free classes, etc. to take her to – she learned that very quickly and will adapt to any neighborhood. They have a special bond and we have felt completely safe with our daughter in Yvonne’s care. She reads and plays with my daughter constantly and has taught her colors, numbers, the alphabet, etc.
In addition to caring for toddlers and kids, Yvonne has worked as a baby nanny and is CPR trained.
We are recommending our nanny Martina she is amazing! She has been with us for 4 years. We met her while working in the Dominican Republic. She is very nurturing, patient, caring, reliable and responsible with a very positive attitude. She has taken great care of our daughter since she was 6 months old. Takes her to school, park, all daily activities, prepares her meals, does her laundry and all cleaning related to her. Whenever we need her off her working schedule, she is always available. Our daughter speaks and understands almost everything in Spanish as that is what she speaks. We are moving out of state, Unfortunately the commuting will be impossible for her. We are hoping our loss is your gain.

We’ve been lucky to have Babita with our 2.5 year-old son since he was a month old. In her prior position, she was with the same family for 13 years. From the start, she’s been a reliable, nurturing, confident, and maternal presence in our home. Babita is organized, communicative throughout the day, and punctual. She keeps our son actively engaged and takes him out daily – to school, parks, the library, music/art/swim classes, and playdates. She is a spectacular cook and regularly prepares meals for our son. She’s thoughtful about what we feed him and has even made natural remedies for our family when any one of us got sick.
During naptime, Babita helps with our laundry, dishes, and keeps our home tidy. My husband and I work long hours and travel frequently; on those days, she’s open and willing to stay late and/or come in early. She often anticipates our needs before we even realize, whether it’s packing for a trip, reorganizing our son’s clothes, reminding me to restock essentials, meal prepping, grocery shopping, etc. Her independence and consistent support around the house has been such a relief for us.
We’d absolutely love to keep Babita as long as possible, but with our son in pre-school, we are looking for a part-time nanny. While she’d prefer to start with a newborn, she’s experienced with children of all ages. Babita is very familiar with downtown Tribeca/Fidi but is open to any location in Manhattan and Brooklyn. Any family would be thrilled and at peace to have her in their lives! Please feel free to reach out to her directly and/or to me for more detail.
We’re so sad to be parting ways with our wonderful nanny, who has been an incredible part of our family and is now looking for her next family to work with. She has over 9 years of childcare experience and brings a perfect balance of warmth, reliability, and professionalism. She has CPR training and nanny training and has all her vaccinations etc up to date.
She has cared for children of all ages—from newborns and infants to toddlers and school-aged kids—and has a natural ability to connect with each child’s unique personality. She’s patient, nurturing, and deeply attentive, creating a safe, loving environment while also encouraging independence and curiosity.
Our nanny has been remarkably dependable—always punctual, organized, and proactive in managing the day-to-day routines. She helps with everything from meal prep and cleaning to managing nap schedules, playdates, and early learning activities. We’ve trusted her completely with our child’s well-being and development.
She’s also wonderful with parents—great communicator, flexible when plans change, and someone you can always count on to keep things running smoothly. She has truly become part of our family!
We would be happy to speak directly with any family interested in learning more about her experience and to share more about the positive impact she’s had on our household. Any family would be extremely lucky to have her caring for their little ones.
Please feel free to message me if you’d like her contact information or would like to speak by phone.
Our nanny, Verilene Roberts (Vee), has been an integral part of our family for the past (almost) 15 years.
From the moment Vee joined us when our son was 3 months old, she brought warmth, patience, and reliability into our home. She cared for our son and then our daughter and kept our house running. She has always been proactive, reliable, and thoughtful, often going above and beyond her duties without being asked. When they were little, Vee made sure the kids were well occupied taking them to the the playground, library, 14th St. Y and various classes and activities over the years.
It’s hard to put into words just how much Vee has meant to us. While we are excited for what lies ahead for her, we are truly sad to see her go. Any family fortunate enough to have Vee in their lives will quickly realize they’ve found someone special.
Elizabeth Stewart helped my husband and I raise our 3 kids from birth for over a decade. She continues to be an integral part of our family as my kids are full grown and stays connected in touch with all of us. And I’m confident all the families she’s cared for and kids who are now full grown would attest to the same. She is incredible with kids of all ages. Her routine, her approach full of love, her smarts, and warmth with a splash of dry humor meets kids (and parents 🙂 at their level. She is loving, trustworthy, loyal and endlessly dependable and also loves music and to sing kids songs. Her experience and wisdom from caring for newborns through kids’ development from nursery through middle school, her calming energy is not only inspiring with kids, its equally a huge support, partnership for parents through all the stages. She is myopic about keeping things in order, neat and clean kids rooms, toys, clothes, laundry and healthy meals. She likes fresh air walks, parks and playgrounds. She supports playdates and connects with other nannies with kids of same ages at school, after school programs and playground. I could gush about her forever. Elizabeth is a special beautiful person that every family, every child should be so lucky to have in their lives.
Lisa is exceptionally intelligent and resourceful, demonstrating both smarts and practical savvy in her approach to childcare. She takes pride in maintaining a clean and organized environment, ensuring that the spaces where children play and learn are always tidy and welcoming. Her ability to connect with children of all ages is truly remarkable, as she adapts her care and communication style to meet each child’s unique needs.
She worked for us for 13 years, starting when my first born was an infant, and my children and I love her like she is our family.
Beyond her relationship with the children, Lisa also interacts seamlessly with every member of the family. She fosters positive relationships not just with the kids, but also with grandparents and other relatives, making her an integral part of the household dynamic. Her friendly and respectful demeanor helps cultivate a harmonious atmosphere within the family, further highlighting her exceptional interpersonal skills.
When both of my kids were babies, she maintained an organized feeding and nap schedule. It totally helped me manage breastfeeding SO MUCH better and I got my life and my boobs back! She also regularly read to them and as most parents know, kids have a favorite book. Lisa holds the record for reading Max the Minnow to my son I think 37 times IN ONE NIGHT. The max I did was 22. He loved that book so much that it fell apart and had to get another one. That speaks to her level of dedication and she knew reading was most important to my ex-husband and I. She also took them for walks in the stroller, and accompanied them to music and tumbling classes. As they progressed in age, she ensured their safe transit riding with them to and from nursery school in an uber. She prepared meals and snacks for them, and as they got older assisted with kumon homework.
She demonstrates exceptional diligence and planning skills, consistently ensuring punctuality for the children’s appointments. Her efficiency is notable—she manages cleaning, dressing, and bathing tasks swiftly and thoroughly.
Her culinary abilities are outstanding; the children highly appreciate her traditional dishes. However, she can follow a recipe and can prepare a wide variety of meals for the kids. I will just say that feeding them food from her background and our background really helped develop their palates. My kids eat spicy food now and are willing to try foods from all cultures. I can’t say they always LIKE them but they at least try.
So I was a new mom and man oh man did I need help but I didn’t know it. I mean I have a Masters! Yeah I did NOT have on in MOM’ing. I will NEVER forget her first morning with us she arranged my son’s room in a more sensible fashion, found clothes I didn’t know he had and got him on a more rational feeding schedule that allowed me more time between breast feedings. With her support, I felt fully assured returning to work, knowing my children were in capable hands.
Her guidance helped me develop organizational skills and improved my approach to parenting. I will always be a working Mom. Just like I have colleagues at work who are experts in their field. I regard her as a “childcare colleague” who continuously demonstrated best practices rather than simply completing assigned tasks. I confidently recommend her to any family, as she is capable of managing multiple children, including infants. New mothers in particular will benefit from her extensive experience.
I also got a wonderful new friend who I will always respect and adore. If we weren’t in to process of leaving NY for my job, I would not be posting on MommyBites.
Our amazing nanny Dato is looking for a new full-time role ideally with a new baby. Dato was with our family from the time our first born was 3months old and lovingly cared for both of our boys over the last 3 years.
Dato is incredibly nurturing and treats the kids like her own. She is always singing songs and playing games. She handles all the meals and feeding, both milk/formula and moving into solids. She’s also extremely clean and organized, both with the kids and around the house, which has been such a bonus. She sets up play dates and fun activities.
Dato is very flexible —always willing to stay late when needed and even does overnights when we travel.
We feel so lucky to have had her as part of our family, and any new family would be lucky to have her.

It is my absolute pleasure to recommend Janine Boucher, who has been with our family for the past 4.5 years. Janine joined us when our son was two years old and I was pregnant with our first daughter, and she has lovingly cared for all 3 of our kids (the girls since they were just three months old.) She has truly become part of our family.
Janine is punctual and dependable—in over four years, she has called in sick only once. She respects our routines and parenting preferences, follows our schedule seamlessly, and always communicates clearly and kindly.
Beyond her professionalism, Janine is a joyful, loving, and deeply engaged caregiver. She is playful, imaginative, and fun—she reads, sings, makes up games, and truly plays with the kids. She spends hours outdoors with them every day and never uses her phone except to send me sweet photos or updates. Our children absolutely adore her, and she loves them as if they were her own.

Sandra cared for our children from 2016 to 2020.
During her time with our family, Sandra proved to be an exceptionally reliable, kind-hearted, and capable caregiver. She created a warm, structured, and nurturing environment for our children, balancing play and learning while always
maintaining a calm, confident demeanor—even in challenging situations.
One of Sandra’s greatest strengths is her genuine love for children and her ability to connect with them on their level. Whether organizing creative indoor activities or encouraging outdoor exploration, she always brought energy,
attentiveness, and joy to her work. Our children grew to trust her deeply and looked forward to their time with her each day. I am writing to strongly recommend our nanny Edith. Edith has been with us for over three years and has become an integral part of our family. She started with us to care for our toddler and infant, and she has seamlessly transitioned from caring for our two young children to nurturing our now three children. Edith fiercely loves our children, creates community in the neighborhood, and keeps our children safe. She is attentive to our children’s needs and to ours. Edith has rarely asked for time away, and when she does, she will try to accommodate our schedule and children’s needs as best as she can. We are sad to part ways with Edith, but we will be moving out of the city, which is too far for her to commute. If she could commute to our future home, we would keep her.

Wonderful nanny available!
My daughter’s nanny, Nadine, is available and looking to start with a new family. We’re relocating overseas and will miss her dearly.
She has years of experience taking care of little ones and helped me so much as a first time mom. She has also been on-time and flexible.
She looked after our little one since she was 4 months old and has been with us for 6 months. She read, sang and played with her every day, supporting her through key development milestones.
Her duties included making formula and purees, washing and ironing baby clothes, bathing, taking our little one out to the park and on play dates, tidying her room and generally anything to make our daughter’s day more enjoyable. Our daughter always came home happy and smiling after a day out with Nadine!
Nadine can be contacted at 917-279-0512.
It is with great pleasure that I introduce our wonderful nanny. She is a professional from Colombia who is not only loving, dedicated, and low-maintenance, but also incredibly attentive to every detail of our children’s care. Our kids are full of energy, and she handles them with patience, joy, and creativity—always suggesting activities that spark their imagination and encourage exploration, especially outdoors at nearby parks. She cooks delicious meals, keeps their closets organised, and is deeply invested in their development.
She is remarkably reliable, always mindful of schedules (often reminding us of things we forget), and goes above and beyond in every way. Beyond childcare, she is also available for house and pet sitting when needed.
We are truly sad to see her go, but we are committed to helping her find the best possible family—because she absolutely deserves it. She has been an incredible support for our family, and we recommend her wholeheartedly.
She will be available to start with a new family by the end of November or early December.

She helped our daughter make her first best friends, exceed all her milestones & even prep for school. I would love for her to find a great new role and family! Also, she is a certified Newborn Care specialist, too. Let me know if you’re interested and I can pass on the details
🌟 Wonderful Nanny Available for a New Family 🌟
We are heartbroken to be saying goodbye to our amazing nanny, Eyon, who has been a true blessing to our family. She’s been with us caring for our two children (ages 5 and 10), and we can’t say enough good things about her.
Eyon is loving, patient, and incredibly responsible. She has a wonderful way with children – our kids absolutely adore her – and she’s been such a positive, calm, and dependable presence in our home. She’s punctual, trustworthy, and goes above and beyond to make sure the kids are happy, safe, and engaged.
We’re only parting ways because of a change in our work situation — not because of anything she’s done. Any family would be lucky to have her.
She’s available to start as soon as needed, and we’re happy to speak directly with any interested families to share more about our experience working with her.
If you’re looking for a kind, capable, and caring nanny, Eyon is truly exceptional.
Hello! Our wonderful nanny will be available for a new position starting in January. She has cared for our son (6) and daughter (2) for over five years, and has truly become part of our family. Now that my daughter has started school and I’m taking an extended career pause to stay home, we no longer need full-time care. It’s with a very heavy heart that we’re helping her find her next family—she has been an incredible caretaker and an even more wonderful person.
She’s experienced with infants, toddlers, and school-aged children and is seeking a full-time role beginning in January. A few of the many things that make her exceptional:
Utterly reliable: In 5+ years, she has never been late—not once!
Proactive and social: She effortlessly builds connections with other caregivers and families, creating a network of playdates and friendships (many of our own friends came from her initiative!).
Meal prep & nutrition: Thoughtful and health-conscious with kids’ meals.
Potty training pro: She successfully potty trained both my kids—in three days.
Organized & intuitive: Always two steps ahead with routines, schedules, and logistics.
Excellent communicator: She provides detailed, transparent updates about your child’s day.
If you’re looking for a professional, nurturing, and dedicated full-time nanny starting in January, we truly can’t recommend her highly enough—any family would be lucky to have her.

We met MariaRosa at the start of the pandemic when our oldest daughter had just turned one. We immediately felt a good connection and after a couple months began using her as our full time nanny. We never had to give much instruction, MariaRosa jumped right in and began helping us with everything. She was lovely with our daughter and kept her busy with activities and outings to the park. She kept on top of all of our daughters needs and would buy new outwear or shoes whenever she outgrew old items. She helped our daughter learn how to walk and was constantly working on helping her learn new words and songs. She kept our home tidy and our daughter’s room organized. She would box up old clothes as our daughter outgrew them and keep everything labeled. She did laundry for our whole family and helped make meals and snacks for our daughter. When our oldest started school she helped with school drop offs and pick ups and taking her to various after school activities. She would have everything ready like the ballet bag packed and soccer bag packed with all needed clothing changes and snacks and drinks. She also organized play dates with other Nanny’s and classmates after school. When our younger daughter was born she was there helping us the whole time. She stayed with our older daughter for three days while we were in the hospital and worked very long days in those early weeks helping in any way she could. She was so sweet and most people thought she was a relative. She helped watch our newborn daughter while our oldest was in school and then they would all go out together in the afternoons before returning for dinner. Last year both our girls were in school and she helped in the mornings with drop off and then would help with laundry and housework during the morning and then would do two different school pickups and took the girls to all their afternoon activities.
MariaRosa also traveled with my family a few times. She would have the girls packed beforehand and everything would be labeled by day. She helped watch the girls in transit and helped have them ready for each days activities and then watched them at the hotel or helped with bedtime routine each night.
A couple trips we took we left our girls at home and MariaRosa would stay with them while we were away.
I cannot sing her enough praise. She is truly an amazing nanny and we were so sad to part ways. She was with us for about five and a half years. We only parted ways because we had to move out of state for my husbands job. I’m happy to answer any additional questions you may have.
