It is with great pleasure and heartfelt gratitude that I recommend Michelle for a nanny position. Michelle cared for my daughter in the Upper West Side from the time she was one until she turned four, and she was an indispensable part of our lives during those formative years.

As a busy working mother, I relied heavily on Michelle’s expertise, reliability, and unwavering dedication. After 10 years with our family, it is hard to imagine life without Carmen. She started with us when our oldest daughter was a newborn and has been by our side ever since. When our second daughter was born, Carmen was there from day one. She has cared for both of our girls through every stage, from newborns to elementary school and now into the pre-teen years. She has become part of our family.

I still remember those early days as a first-time mom. I worried about everything: naps, bottles, feeding schedules, whether my daughter was happy, and whether she was getting enough sleep. Going back to work felt overwhelming. But once Carmen was there, I never spent my day wondering if my daughter was okay. I knew she was safe, loved, and being cared for like she was Carmen’s own.

Only six months after Carmen joined our family, my husband and I both had to travel out of the country for work. We had no family nearby, and Carmen took care of our daughter at her home while we were away. Even as a first-time mom, I never worried about whether she was okay. That says so much about how quickly Carmen became someone we trusted and relied on.

Carmen was also great about keeping us connected to the girls during the day, sending pictures and sharing funny stories about what they had been up to. Those little updates meant so much to us.

Carmen truly loves kids, and they love her right back. She is always taking them on adventures, whether that means exploring a new playground, spending the afternoon at the library or a museum, heading to a class, or simply getting outside to play. She also makes the everyday moments special. Some of my favorite memories are walking into the house and hearing the three of them laughing in another room. They would be building blanket forts, putting on little shows, making crafts, baking together, or just being silly. They genuinely love spending time with her.

One thing that has always stood out to me is how naturally Carmen connects with people. She is comfortable with everyone, whether other nannies, parents, grandparents, or neighbors. She makes people feel comfortable and builds friendships wherever she goes. Our girls always had wonderful playdates, friends to meet at the park, and a real sense of community.

We have moved four times while Carmen has been with us. Every time, she quickly figured out everything from the best playgrounds and libraries to classes and activities. Before long, she knew the neighborhood, had built a new community, and helped our girls feel completely at home.

As our girls got older, Carmen seamlessly adapted to each new stage. She went from bottles and naps to keeping track of busy schedules and playdates, getting them to activities, helping with homework, and encouraging them to become confident and independent. She has also been a true partner to us as parents. Carmen is incredibly intuitive and understands what our family needs. As the girls became more independent, she naturally took on other responsibilities around the house, seeing what needed to be done and stepping in without being asked.

Carmen is incredibly dependable and trustworthy. In 10 years, I never questioned whether she would show up or whether my children were being cared for. She has also been wonderfully flexible over the years, staying late or overnight when needed and traveling with us. She became the person we relied on every single day.

Now that both of our girls are in school full time and increasingly independent, Carmen is looking for a new family with a baby or young child who is not yet in school. She loves those early years and would love to find another family she can grow with over the long term.

Any family would be so lucky to have Carmen. She will love your children, keep them active, help them build confidence and friendships, and become someone your whole family comes to rely on. While we are incredibly sad to see this chapter end, we know she will be a wonderful addition to another family. We cannot recommend her highly enough and would be happy to speak with anyone considering welcoming Carmen into their family.

Our wonderful nanny, Karen, is seeking a full-time position starting ASAP (M-F +/- 40 hours/week).
She’s been with us for about two years. She’s an amazing nanny, great with children! She taught our daughter to walk, talk, count, say her ABC’s etc.
Her responsibilities were primarily related to our daughter: food preparation, her dishes, bathing, laundry, as well as taking her to local classes:
Gymboree, Music, Storytime, Side by Side, Doctor’s appointments, etc. She does it all!
Karen has been an integral part of our family. And even stayed with us to ensure our daughter has adjusted to school. This goes to show her wonderful character. But most importantly, Karen is a warm, patient, forward-thinking nanny who loves our daughter like her own. She has a gift with children and is both fun-loving and firm.
Her ideal employment would be with a baby or young child. Karen is a US citizen with an adult daughter. She is available to start this ASAP, but can be flexible regarding the start date.

Ana worked four years for my family. Ana quickly became an important part of our family and someone we could rely on completely. She was responsible for all aspects of our son’s care during her time with him, including his personal care, and overall well-being. She was always attentive to his needs and made sure he was safe, happy, engaged, and cared for. Ana is a loving, responsible, well-trained, supportive, and reliable caregiver+ a natural teacher. Ana is CPR/AED and First Aid certified,Baby Nurse , Fully Vaccinated. She has excellent experience caring for young children and understands the importance of creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment. She was wonderful about keeping our son engaged through age-appropriate activities and was always patient and encouraging with. Ana became much more than an employee. Our daughter is starting daycare this fall, and our wonderful nanny is looking for a new full-time role! Barbara has worked as a nanny for more than 20 years, and has experience with newborns, infants, toddlers, and multiples. She is absolutely everything we wanted in a nanny: kind, loving, attentive, proactive, punctual, responsible, and reliable beyond measure.

She brings a warmth and happiness with her that infiltrates our home. She truly goes above and beyond to care for our daughter. An illustrative example of that is how Barbara handled a months-long situation where my daughter refused to nap anywhere but her stroller. Without hesitation, Barbara strolled her around for 2-3 hours each day, refusing a break, because she insisted that our daughter’s rest was that important to her. That’s who Barbara is.

Right now, Barbara’s schedule with us is 9-5 pm Monday through Friday, but she’s always flexible. When we’ve needed her to come earlier or stay later she is always happily willing to accommodate us. She also babysits for us on nights and weekends, which is a huge help!

Our lovely nanny, Afyia, is looking for another family to grow with. We did a nanny-share with another family, and she has been with us since our babies were just 3 months old. Time flies, so our babies are 2 and about to head to preschool. Afyia came to us with over 10 years’ experience, which is 100% what we needed as first-time parents – a nanny with solid professional experience caring for more than one child. We were amazed that she was able to get both of our babies on a consistent nap schedule immediately, so they’re great sleepers. She has a gentle, sweet, calming energy that our baby could feel from the first time they met. Our babies both started crying, and the four of us parents looked over at Afyia. She just Afyia picked them both up, and they stopped crying instantly. It was everything we needed to know. I work from home all the time, and she always brings a quiet, calming presence to our home.

What makes her different? One thing that I really loved is that, while so many nannies (we are all susceptible) are on their phones all the time in the park, Afyia is so present. We’ve had other parents from the neighborhood, the librarian, and the teacher of a local music class approach us on the street to tell us how great Afyia is, so even though we didn’t often get to see her in action, we completely trust her judgement.

Even now that our little guy is full of non-stop toddler energy and no-no-no, she is so good with him. She taught him to say, “please”! (sometimes). She read him books, plays with him, and takes him out to the library and to the many parks in our area every day.

Bonus: She is highly professional, extremely reliable and has never once been late in all the months she’s been with us. If you’re a working parent, you’ll understand how very important this is.

We are relocating after nearly seven years, and have a nanny that we cannot recommend her highly enough.

She joined us when our daughter was a newborn and has been a steady, trusted, part of our household ever since. She is fantastic with newborns and has supported our daughter’s development from 6 weeks through all of her major milestones. She has organized her meals every day, done laundry each week for both of our kids, and has curated exciting daily adventures around New York City. She has organized a wonderful playgroup for our daughter and even arranged and decorated her birthday parties. Whether it was picnics, playdates, museums, or rainy day art activities, Nerisia has always ensured that our daughter’s day was structured and engaging.

In addition to the joy and warmth that she brings to her interactions with children, Nerisia is a real professional. She is an excellent communicator, always ensuring that we are on the same page about instilling strong values and manners in our children, and demonstrating them herself. She has gone out of her way to help educate our children, helping our first grader with homework and teaching our three-year-old her letters. In addition to being truly devoted to our children, Nerisia is also extremely thoughtful, reliable, and always on time!! Our whole family sees Nerisia and her family as a part of our own, and she will be long after she finds another family to work with, just as she continues to be in the lives of the families that she has worked with in the past.

Our beloved former nanny of nine years, Anita O’Reilly, is looking for full-time employment. Anita was hard working, conscientious, affectionate, and a true partner in raising our children. She managed both kids’ school and activity schedules, and she easily handled both children at home, out at playgrounds, at indoor facilities when the weather is bad, and getting to and from all of these places. She was always punctual and is a reliable employee.

Most of all, it was a blessing to be able to leave the house every morning knowing that our children would be with someone who will treat them as her own children. My son said all the time that he wanted Anita to stay at our house and spend the night; he thought of her as part of the family and couldn’t understand why she had to go somewhere else once I got home each day. He even coined the term “mommynita” to refer to the two of us. When my husband arrived home before I did, he always commented to me later that evening how happy he was with the way Anita interacted with the kids. Both sets of grandparents made similar comments, as did our neighbors.

Our former nanny, Aleia, is looking for full-time employment beginning this fall. We first met Aleia in 2017 when she was working in her first job as a teacher at our older son’s daycare, where her warmth and skill with children immediately impressed us. When we needed childcare for our baby, we knew she would be perfect for our family.

Aleia cared for both of our children since 2020 and was fantastic. She’s energetic, and has a special talent for working with babies and toddlers. Her patience seems endless, and she brings positive energy to our home.

What sets Aleia apart is how engaged she is with children. She’s constantly thinking of new activities, whether it’s trips to the playground, library story time, or playdates at home. She kept us well-informed throughout the day with updates and photos.

Aleia has been reliable and flexible. She rarely took time off, was almost never sick, and was more than willing to accommodate our changing schedules when work demands require it. She’s also open to occasional travel with a family if needed.

We were sad to lose Aleia, but both of our children have reached ages where they no longer need the same level of care. We cannot recommend her highly enough – any family would be lucky to have someone so dedicated, caring, and naturally gifted with children.

Mimi first started with us when our daughter was 5 months old and she immediately became one of the family. She has many years experience and is happy to take my daughter out to new places and has explored many of our local parks and suggested local classes for her to take which have all helped her development greatly.

My daughter was always on top of her milestones and I credit it to Mimi teaching her how to move and play from the time she was small. In addition to taking care of my daughter, she also helps around the house and always cleans up my daughter’s room.

She is always on time and will come early or stay late if we need. She would be the perfect nanny for a newborn and can give them the best head start, teaching them everything from how to climb to how to talk. She will take on whatever activities my daughter wants whether it’s reading books or building with blocks or coloring. She is always recommending things that have worked for her in the past which makes life as a parent so much easier.

On top of all that, she knows how much I love getting pictures and updates from their day together and sends both throughout the day so I always feel included in even though I am working. She is also very friendly with my dog.

Lina is AMAZING. She has been crucial in my child’s development during the half a year she helped to make her blossom. The only reason we are parting with her is because our schedule changed, and we are heartbroken to have to let her go. Our entire family loves Lina. She is caring, thoughtful, mindful, punctual, patient and the list goes on! I was particularly grateful for her ability to ensure we were on the same page by asking questions to avoid misunderstandings.
I know my baby is in good hands with her not just because she literally squeals with joy and rushes to meet her when she comes to the door, but because I have seen Lina adapt to her needs as my baby went from fragile infant to curious toddler.

Our previous nanny, Delia, is one of a kind. She took care of our two sons for almost 3 years – started when our oldest was 10 months old and then took my second son when he was 10 weeks old.

Delia is extremely reliable, always on time, professional, and a heart of gold. She is extremely experienced with children (she has adult children of her own (and a grandchild) and somehow is so warm, but also strong (the children love her, and also respect her). She balanced the two kids perfectly – we now have a third and I wouldn’t hesitate having her watch all three full time. Delia watched the kids in the apartment, but also went out and about too so her and the kids could get a lot of outside time. She’ll follow whatever guidelines parents give!

We moved states, which is the only reason we don’t work together anymore – but if we were near each other, I would hire Delia again in a heart beat. We love her and any family will be absolutely lucky to have her. For context, she lives in Westchester County, so Westchester preferred, but is open to Bronx/Queens, Manhattan, and then Brooklyn.

We had the pleasure of having Dian Grace Powell as our 24-hour baby nurse for almost 4 months while caring for our twins, and we could not recommend her more highly. She is professionally trained, extremely energetic, organized, reliable, and trustworthy. She is excellent at scheduling and keeping everything running smoothly, while also being incredibly gentle, caring, and loving with the babies. She is fun and engaging with them, moves quickly and efficiently, and handles everything with confidence and calm. Caring for twins is no easy task, but she managed both babies exceptionally well and was truly wonderful to have in our home. We are so grateful for all her help and care, and we would wholeheartedly recommend her to any family looking for a dedicated, capable, and loving baby nurse.

Yvonne was our nanny from the time our daughter was a few months old until she was 11 and she is an absolutely wonderful nanny. She is a very responsible, caring, gentle and encouraging person. I particularly appreciated how engaged she was with our daughter when at home or on regular trips to the parks, museums and around the neighborhood. She was a dream come true for our family. I frequently received compliments from other parents about how great Yvonne was with our daughter and I always felt completely secure with leaving our daughter in Yvonne’s care. She cared for our three children- her main focus was our baby boy during the day, and she took on all three, including our two older girls, in the evenings once they were home from school. Juggling that range of ages is not easy but she managed always with a smile and seemingly unlimited energy.

What stood out most to us was the bond she formed with our son. It happened remarkably fast, and for a long stretch she was the only caregiver he would accept. That says more than anything else we could write here.
