Lisa was with my family for 16 years from when my daughter was 2 months old until my son was in 4th grade. She was referred to me by my baby nurse who had worked with her at a previous job. She is fantastic with newborns, babies and toddlers. She spoke to my babies constantly (they spoke early), she taught them to eat solids and potty trained them. Lisa is patient and creates routines and consistency. She will do their laundry, clean up after the kids and cook for them as needed. She is very reliable and flexible, which was very helpful when I was a busy working mom with lots of travel. She became part of our family and we highly recommend her.

Kerrian has been with us for 2 years and is such a gem. When she first started our daughter was 5 months old and Kerrian helped us get her on a schedule. She also helped us start solids and was a priceless resource when navigating schedule changes. She organized play dates, helped me brainstorm classes, came up with countless activities for our daughter and was so kind and patient with her. I’m so sad that our family is moving and we have to part ways, but excited for another family to experience Kerrian’s magic!

Natasha has been the nanny for our three children, but spending more of her time caring for our son over the past year, starting when he was 9 months old. She is incredible patient and loving with him, taking him outside to parks morning and evening to meet his friends.

Natasha prepares all of his food and snacks, and picks up my older children from school, taking them to the park, ensuring their home work is done. At home she also helps keep our apartment tidy (which is no small feat for a family of 5) and helps me with the kids laundry. She is also flexible to come early and stay late when I need her to.

Our beloved former nanny of nine years, Anita O’Reilly, is looking for full-time employment. Anita was hard working, conscientious, affectionate, and a true partner in raising our children. She managed both kids’ school and activity schedules, and she easily handled both children at home, out at playgrounds, at indoor facilities when the weather is bad, and getting to and from all of these places. She was always punctual and is a reliable employee. Most of all, it was a blessing to be able to leave the house every morning knowing that our children would be with someone who will treat them as her own children. My son said all the time that he wanted Anita to stay at our house and spend the night; he thought of her as part of the family and couldn’t understand why she had to go somewhere else once I got home each day. He even coined the term “mommynita” to refer to the two of us. When my husband arrived home before I did, he always commented to me later that evening how happy he was with the way Anita interacted with the kids. Both sets of grandparents made similar comments, as did our neighbors.

Latoya worked for me for two consecutive weeks as a full-time (24/7) newborn care specialist / baby nurse when we brought home my third baby in January 2026. Latoya met us at home on the day we came home from the hospital and integrated into our household quickly and easily. From conversations we had before she arrived, Latoya understood that it was very important to me to introduce my two older kids to their baby sibling while also limiting physical proximity due to my worry about exposing my newborn to daycare germs that the big kids might be bringing home. Latoya was great about hearing my goals and concerns and translating them into how she handled care for my baby and older kids too. She functioned as my partner, offering suggestions when I asked for them and lending an ear when I needed to talk something out. She was the primary caregiver for the baby, stepping in good-naturedly to handle every bottle and diaper change and fussiness, day or night. At a time when I worried about the monumental changes in my older kids’ lives, I loved how they thought Latoya was so much fun to have around! Thanks to Latoya, I was able to focus on my post-partum recovery and slept soundly knowing Latoya was taking care of the baby.

Our incredible nanny, Crystal, is looking for a new family to work with full time starting in June! Official start date is flexible.

She has experience in childcare for over 10 years and has cared and managed the schedules for babies 3 months to 10 years old. She has been very engaged and involved in caring for our baby boy  since he was 3 months old, has planned light activities, and taken him to nearby classes and playgrounds.

Crystal is CPR/AED/First Aid certified  and has multiple certificates from the University of Albany in the supervision and caring for babies and children.

Wilma is an incredibly kind, caring, and proactive nanny that we are recommending without reservation. We are so sorry to be losing Wilma with our family’s move away from the city but know that any family would be lucky to have her. Wilma has been with our family for 3.5 years, as the full-time nanny for our now 6 and 3.5 year olds. Sangay is truly a wonderful person and nanny. She has been with my family for over 3 years, and she has taken care of both of my boys since they were newborn babies. She was always on time and just quietly assumed the position without requiring any hand-holding. She was incredibly loving, kind and has a very quiet, calm demeanor. When working from home, I would hear her laughter with the kids throughout the day. I cannot recommend her enough!

We are moving out of the city this summer and our nanny, Shanti, is looking for a new family. Shanti has been with us for almost four years, and we are absolutely devastated to lose her! We would not be parting ways if not for the move—and even considered staying in the city one more year just so that we could keep her until my son goes to school. I cannot recommend Shanti highly enough, a true UNICORN of a nanny—she brings the wisdom and experience of a career nanny (22+ years of nanny experience and prior experience with twins) with the energy and stamina of a 20-year-old (I don’t know where Shanti finds her energy but my kids are always out and about exploring all the city has to offer).

Shanti has been with our family since 2022 when my oldest (now 4) was 4 months old. She now takes care of my 19-month-old, as well as our 4-year-old when she’s not in school (school hours 9am-1pm). Shanti has been with us through it all – developmental leaps, schedule changes, potty training, remote working, the birth of my son, the birth of her grandson, nap transitions, you name it. She is flexible and goes with the flow, somehow staying calm even in the face of the most epic toddler meltdowns. She somehow manages to give both kids the same level of love and attention no matter the circumstances and, consequently, they play so nicely together (most of the time at least Smile). Shanti is everything you could want in a nanny – reliable, attentive, hardworking, social, kind and above all else deeply loving and nurturing. I still remember the first time my daughter was sick and coming home to find her asleep on Shanti’s chest because she couldn’t breathe if she was laying flat in the crib—Shanti was “nap trapped” for hours and didn’t mind at all. I am reminded of how amazing Shanti is constantly when I receive unsolicited comments from other moms, nannies and people in my building commenting about how wonderful she is with the kids and how lucky we are to have found her.

Speaking of other moms and nannies, Shanti has a superpower of making friends with everyone! My daughter (and now my son) has such an amazing group of friends and that is ALL thanks to Shanti. Shanti is always planning playdates or fun trips for the kids around the city – the zoo, the children’s museum, the movies, and countless ferry rides to explore new neighborhoods (Jersey City, Hoboken, Brooklyn Heights etc.), just to name a few. By finding this amazing group of friends for my kids, Shanti has inadvertently given me a wonderful group of mom friends that I know I would not have been able to come by myself!

From a reliability standpoint, Shanti is truly top notch. I can count on my hand the number of times she has been late – always due to a train mishap that was beyond her control (and never late by more than 5-10 minutes). Not only does she arrive on time every morning but most mornings she arrives 15 minutes early just to ensure she is on time – this past winter during the snow crisis, she left her house almost an hour earlier than she normally would just to ensure she was on time. Shanti also rarely (almost never) calls in sick – she will wear a mask all day if she has a cold before ever thinking of calling in sick. She is also great about letting me know long in advance when she is planning to take her days off – and asking if those days work for me.

I could go on and on about how wonderful Shanti is – not only as a nanny but as a genuinely kind and loving person who maintains relationships will all her previous families. Shanti loves my kids as though they were her own and I want nothing more than for her to find the perfect next family!

We absolutely adore Waizero! She has been such a positive, loving, and dependable presence in our child’s life. From day one, she connected so naturally with our child through creativity, patience, and genuine care. She always comes prepared with fun activities, educational games, crafts, and little adventures that keep him engaged and excited.

One thing that really stood out to us is how attentive and emotionally aware she is. She doesn’t just “watch” our child, she truly interacts with him, encourages him, and creates a safe environment where he feels comfortable expressing himself. We are heartbroken to say goodbye to our amazing nanny when our daughter starts immersion school in a heritage language. We want to help Coco find an amazing new family, who will welcome her as part of the family.

Coco started when our daughter, A, was only 16 weeks old. She helped me navigate my intense sadness about going back to work and made it possible for me to keep breastfeeding several times during the day, minimizing my need to pump.

Coco has 35 years of experience and many, many long-term families. (Including twins!) She is a native English speaker and an excellent, open communicator. She is ultra-reliable — has never been late — and flexible, available to stay late when needed or do weekends. Coco loves A like her own kid and A has flourished with her care and kindness. Our daughter loved Coco from day 1. (A calls Coco her “best friend.”)

Coco LOVES the outdoors. We call her a “forest school nanny” because our daughter is out and about all day, every day. At first, I was nervous A wouldn’t nap well outside, but Coco taught her to take great stroller naps. A has never once gotten a sunburn on Coco’s watch! This has been a GAMECHANGER, since my husband and I work from home and I’m so grateful my daughter has gotten to spend so much time in nature.

Coco made friends with nannies, found every park, library, and free class. We never had to pay for a class or worry about signing up, even though my daughter goes to countless music classes and story times. She always had the benefit of 1:1 guidance but had tons of socialization. Together, they read dozens of books every day. Coco believes in helping her kids become independent, learning how to put on shoes, dress herself, use the potty (A did it at 18 months), and use good manners. Our daughter spends tons of time playing AND Coco actively teaches. When our 19-month old counted to 10 one day, I was stunned. Our almost-two-year-old knows all her letters, spells her name, walks half a mile on her own, and waits for the walk sign and asks to hold my hand to cross the street. I wouldn’t have even thought to teach her this stuff. Coco is so loving and has really high standards for her kids. She believes A can do it, so A believes and does it. A is so proud of her skills. We often hear our daughter tell herself, “A strong!” “Good job A!”

Our neighbors know Coco and the parents in the building regularly tell us what good hands A is in, and how much fun she is having when they pass by. And other parents regularly stop to comment on how well-behaved and articulate A is.

Best of all, Coco has really partnered with us as parents and helped me become a better communicator. We wanted a nanny that would be like a third parent, and Coco truly is that. Whenever there’s a problem, like when A went through a whining phase, Coco talks with us to figure out the solution as a team. Almost everything we know about parenting, we learned from Coco. A is naturally very spirited and sensitive; Coco has taught us gentle, effective discipline techniques that have helped Ada behave well and communicate her feelings and problems.

We also love that Coco is never on her phone. We do zero screen time, no added sugar, and limit processed foods; even when our rules are a little neurotic, Coco supports them. If we were in the financial position to keep her and do language immersion, we would. Coco made me want to have seven kids so we could keep her forever.

Nellie has been a responsible, and devoted babysitter for us for the past 15 years, and has helped us raise our twins from infancy thru to becoming mature teenagers. She is reliable, trustworthy, and will work overtime and on short notice to help your family thrive and give the parents much needed time for themselves. She always is eager to help in household tasks and has gone out of her way to make sure our youngster’s feel loved and protected, and so that their needs are well attended to.

We are sadly parting ways with our nanny, Sherieka, who has been with us since March 2025, as we are moving out of the city. She first joined us as our night nurse and transitioned into a full-time position when I returned to work.

Sherieka is truly fantastic and everything you could hope for in a nanny. She is incredibly reliable, knowledgeable, trustworthy, professional, and communicative and simply a pure joy to be around. She is highly proactive and takes wonderful initiative in planning my daughter’s days, bringing her to classes, the playground, the park, the library, and outings with peers. They have created such a wonderful bond, and it is evident that my daughter loves her so much.

Sherieka brings such a positive, fun energy while also maintaining a calm and steady presence. She has taught my daughter so much, including sign language, songs, and more, which has been incredibly valuable for her development. Most importantly, I completely trust her judgment and know she always has my daughter’s best interests at heart, especially when I’m at work.

I can’t say enough positive things about her, and we will truly, truly miss her as she has become an incredible part of our family. Any family would be lucky to have her.

Our beloved nanny Olga will be available starting July 1 for a new full-time position (30+ hours/week) as we are finishing medical training and moving out of NY. Olga began caring for my daughter when she was 9 weeks old when I returned to work and has been with us for two years. My partner and I have both been in medical training during this time and her flexibility adjusting her hours to our rotation schedule and her dependability afforded us so much peace of mind. She is fluent in both English and Spanish and is based in Woodside, Queens.
