We are saying goodbye to our awesome nanny, Yvonne, at the end of January. She is looking for a full-time job, preferably in the city. She is experienced with babies and big kids, flexible, loving, always early and a hard worker. Happy to answer any questions.

Elizabeth Stewart helped my husband and I raise our 3 kids from birth for over a decade. She continues to be an integral part of our family as my kids are full grown and stays connected in touch with all of us. Sangay is a complete and total gem – she has been caring for our 3.5 yr old daughter with such love and care. She came into our lives as we were potty training and having a lot of intense emotions. Sangay helped her communicate and complete potty training so effortlessly. She cares for our daughter as her own and needs no direction – she takes a lot of initiative on her own to entertain and play with our daughter, knowing what she likes and doesn’t like.

Sangay is very sweet-tempered and calm – she keeps our house feeling peaceful and puts everyone at ease. In the mornings, she jumps into activities and gets our daughter out the door to play with no fussing. Our daughter is always so happy to see her and gives her a big hug and kiss at the end of each day!

Our amazing nanny who we worked with for two years is available full-time. She has worked with us until we outgrew the need to have a full-time nanny when my son entered school full-time.

Timea is energetic, fun, kind, loving, patient, responsible, and trustworthy. My son has bonded with her quickly, and I always hear them laughing and enjoying each other’s company. His energy is limitless, and she has no problem keeping up with him both inside and outside the house. When she needs to be, she can be firm, yet patient to teach him what is right and wrong. She openly communicates with me and is attentive to my needs and preferences, so that we are reinforcing the same things with my son. She is very personable and has made friends with other nannies and proactively arranges playdates and activities. She was also flexible with her hours and responsibilities as our needs and schedules evolved.

Sylvie was an invaluable part of our family for 13 years and truly helped us raise our four daughters. She was with us from their newborn days through their early teenage years, and her presence shaped so much of their childhood. Sylvie is incredibly reliable, loving, and kind. With both parents working outside the home, we always had complete peace of mind knowing our girls were in her care. She was consistently dependable, making sure they were fed, dressed, and where they needed to be—whether that was school, activities, or playdates.

Sylvie filled their days with fun and meaningful experiences, from walks to the playground to outings and time with friends. She always had healthy snacks waiting when they came home from school and lovingly took care of dinner, baths, and bedtime when needed. Most importantly, she loved our girls as if they were her own. Gale joined our family when our two daughters were 2 and 3 years old. She immediately won our girls over with her calm, kind and caring demeanor. She managed day to day activities and preschool schedules effortlessly. She is extremely organized and always on time. Gale planned playdates for the girls with ease given her warm and welcoming personality. She prepared healthy meals and always stayed on top of the girls’ laundry. Most importantly, Gale has good judgement and can be trusted wholeheartedly.

Zulma took care of our daughter from six months until almost three. She developed a very good relationship with the whole family including grandparents and was wonderful with our daughter. She was also great with making friends with other nannies and kids in the building and the neighborhood so that our daughter was getting socialization. She also will speak mostly Spanish so your child which helps with bilingual skills.

My family and I recently moved to Connecticut. I would very much like to help her find a great new family to work for and whoever gets her is going to be extremely lucky. It’s hard to described how flawlessly Renalda managed our household and cared for my son, William. My husband and I both work, and she was an incredibly reliable partner who arrived at work punctually every day for 4 years. She made friends with other neighborhood nannies and William always had many play dates. One of Renalda’s many strengths is cooking. She is from the Philippines, and cooked the most incredible authentic healthy meals for William. Renalda did so much for William; got him on a sleep and bottle schedule when she first started with us. William was only 5 months. Taught him his colors, letters, shapes, good manners, body parts and numbers.

She is great at logistics and had William’s days beautifully planned, as well as out to play every morning and every afternoon after his nap, rain or shine. Renalda is extremely dependable, caring, loving, warm and professional. She takes her job very seriously and has an amazing work ethic. I became pregnant with my second son, shortly after William and again when I returned to work Renalda helped me. I eventually stopped working to be home full time and Renalda and I divided and conquered with the boys. Both of my children had an instant connection and love for Renalda.

Dominique cared for our 2 kids for the past 18 months from when they were 3.5 and 2 years old. She was our first nanny and we felt extremely confident that our kids were safe and well looked after during the day while we were away working long hours. She helped to develop routines and was flexible when the children ended up at different schools, carefully managing drop offs and pick ups with minimal disruption. She prepared healthy and nutritious dinners for our kids and we credit her with making our children great eaters. She is very dedicated to the job, frequently engaged in regular reviews of the kids progress and wellbeing. She’s very patient and has a strong emphasis on clear communication and gentle boundaries. Angie is an exceptional nanny who has been with our family since my son was 4 months old.  She is loving, gentle, calm and all things amazing with children. I’d like to introduce you to our amazing nanny, Lucia! She has been with our family for 9 years, since my oldest was just a few months old. As the kids have grown and their needs have changed, we no longer require full-time care.
Lucia is open to new opportunities in Brooklyn or Manhattan. Ideally, that would be one or two part-time commitments (for example, morning help, afternoon pick-ups, babysitting, etc) versus a full-time role, but she’s open to considering both.

I can’t say enough great things about Lucia! She has been such an important part of our family for so long. The kids adore her and, most importantly, feel safe and secure with her, which has been such a godsend for this working mom! She has had a number of long-term families throughout her career, all of whom she keeps in touch with (which really speaks volumes about her). She has always been with families with babies that have grown into toddlers and then kids, so her experience spans all ages. She also has experience with managing kids’ food allergies.

Ann is a loving nanny who has been in our family for four years. She started when my son was 4 months old and supported us as he got older and with his little sister who came along 2 years later. She took care of kids food, kept them clean and loved them as her own. She was creative in bringing them to the library, park, play dates, etc when they weren’t in school. Our family is moving out of New York in February, and one of the hardest parts will be saying goodbye to Samantha, our incredible nanny. She has spent more time with our son than any other person aside from us, and has been the most loving, steady, joyful presence in his life for the past two years. We truly feel like a team. Sam listens thoughtfully to our parenting preferences and routines and gently offers her own insightful observations and advice. She emphasizes safety and consistency, and sets clear, kind boundaries. She’s natively bilingual (English and Spanish) and speaks in Spanish with our son at our request, which has been such a gift.

Sam is punctual and has been wonderfully flexible when our work schedules shift. Her responsibilities include childcare, helping with meals, and she also goes above and beyond, tidying up or washing dishes without being asked. She’s tech-savvy, sends daily updates and photos, and keeps our shared family album full of priceless moments. She’s currently helping us with potty training, too!

We first met Sam through close friends in our building – whose kids also adore her – and we will forever be grateful for that connection. She’s deeply plugged into the Park Slope community. She and our son spend days at the park and playgrounds, zoos, museums, music and art and gym classes, and neighborhood playgroups. Because of her, our son has a rich mix of structured and unstructured time. Our son’s confidence, curiosity, and social ease are a direct reflection of her loving guidance and the community she’s helped him build and nurture.

We had always envisioned Sam being with our family until our son started school full-time, and we’re truly heartbroken to be moving away. We couldn’t recommend her highly enough!

Yolanda has been a part of our family for 6 years. She is vibrant, energetic, funny, always laughing and singing with our girls and playing games with them. Kristie has been an integral part of our family for over four years. During that time, she has proven to be a reliable, warm, and trusted caregiver for our two children.  

Kristie joined our family when our daughter was almost one year old. Kristie provided full service care from day one — changing diapers, naps, food prep and feeding, attending various baby classes and scheduling play dates. Kristie was instrumental in helping our daughter develop into the fun, creative, and thoughtful five year old she is today. Kristie’s calm demeanor has also been an important, positive, and stable influence on our son, whom she has cared for together with our daughter everyday.  

Both of our children are currently in school until 2:30pm. Kristie prepares snacks for them and organizes their afterschool needs (sports equipment, mostly) before school pickup.  From there, Kristie shuttles them to their after school activities before heading home for homework, bath and cool down play before dinner. During summer vacation or days when there is no school, Kristie often takes our children on excursions to Coney Island, the Brooklyn Acquarium, and both the Central Park and Prospect Park Zoos, traveling safely together on the bus or subway each way.  Kristie also does the children’s laundry each week.    

Our children developed a special bond with Kristie over the years and we are sad to part ways with her.  We know, however, that our loss will be another family’s gain.

It breaks my heart to have to write this. Adi has become a part of our family, but we unfortunately need to move out of state for my husband’s job. We want Adi to end up with a kind and considerate family. She is truly the best and any family would be lucky to have her!

Adi is absolutely wonderful with kids and babies. She brought in a fresh energy to our house, and is always thinking of fun activities for our 9 month old. She provides helpful suggestions, which are so appreciated as first-time parents, and is always respectful in our home. Adi 100% takes care of all our son’s needs during the week – meal prep, laundry, cleaning up, etc – and is always playing with him, singing silly songs, etc. Our son had terrible reflux when she started, and I was worried that would scare her off (he would throw up on everything, and was often uncomfortable/fussy), but Adi was always so sweet with him. She would just snuggle and provide comfort.

Now that he is older, she is always thinking about ways to expand his play. With her outgoing and friendly personality, she easily made nanny friends and expanded our son’s play group.

She is truly amazing – kind, considerate, friendly, and smart. If I could have her move with us, I would!
