We are so excited to recommend our beloved nanny, Patricia, who has been with our family for nine years and is available for a new family after the first week of September.

Patricia joined us in 2017, caring for our son from the time he was one, and then for our twin daughters from the day they were born — so she’s wonderful with everything from infants to school-age children, including multiples.

Her greatest strength is early childhood education: every day she runs a structured learning session with the kids, teaching reading, writing, early math, and more, and she makes sure they get outside daily for walks, the park, and the library. She also prepares the children’s meals, keeps their rooms and laundry in order, and communicates openly and warmly every single day.

The clearest sign of our trust: this past year, my wife and I traveled abroad for a full week and left all three children in Patricia’s sole care — the first time we’d ever left them with anyone outside our immediate family. Maria has been our nanny for 5.5 years and is unequivocally one of the most reliable, kind, hard working, and overall wonderful caregivers I’ve ever had (and we went through about 5 nannies before her). She brings the children to classes, other activities, pediatrician and doctor’s appointments – she has even picked up prescriptions for our younger daughter in a pinch. Moreover, she constantly helps to arrange playdates and make friendships with other children that have translated to meaningful relationships for our entire family.
Over the last year she has been asked by our younger daughter’s teacher to help chaperone field trips for their two’s program. She is a wonder woman.

If we could, we would keep her forever, but she loves babies and young children and would like to find a new family to work with as our kids are now getting older and in school much of the day. She is specifically looking for a family with a baby to grow with.
