BOO! Top 5 NYC Halloween Picks

Halloween is definitely one of our favorite holidays of the year as speech pathologists. We do tons of activities with our children like carving pumpkins, making pumpkin pie, creating spooky decorations, and more!

And since we live in one of the greatest cities in the world, we are lucky to have a ton of fun Halloween events to choose from.  Let the celebrations begin!

Here are our TOP 5 choices:

Flotilla: 10/25, 3:30 PM – 7 PM

Go uptown to the Harlem Meer and check out the live music, spooky stories, pumpkin carving programs, costume parades, and the one of a kind pumpkin flotilla!  It allows your child to get creative and really show their artistic side.  The event is totally free and open to all ages.

Asphalt Screams: 10/30, 4 – 6 PM

Come dressed up to this super fun afternoon at Asphalt Greens on the Upper East Side or Battery Park City!  Tons of Halloween tricks, treats, and games will be waiting for you.  There will even be a Spooktacular Soccer Shootout and a Haunted Mazur Hall.  This event is free to the public, but donations are welcome and proceeds go toward supporting free community events.  And remember – the first 500 children get a goody bag!
