She is a true natural with newborns, a “baby whisperer.” With over 25 years of experience and a mother of 4 (all grown now) she is able to provide care on another level— she brings a unique intelligence to her caregiving. As a first time parent I needed someone who could guide me and make suggestions based not only on best baby practices but also a deep understanding of my child’s individual needs. I had a very difficult delivery followed by a weeklong stay in the hospital and I honestly don’t know how I would’ve managed without Eartha. She stayed with me for 6+ weeks postpartum and cared not only for my child but looked out for the well being of me and my family. My baby had colic and acid reflux and she was able make the diagnosis before we even saw the doctor. After the diagnosis was confirmed by our pediatrician, she tracked and dosed the prescribed medications and made necessary feeding adjustments to accommodate the reflux and gas. With Eartha’s direct care and supervision, my child continued to gained weight and is now thriving! Eartha took my baby on walks in the stroller, to doctor appointments, made key suggestions for best products/toiletries to use for baby, tidied the nursery and organized the baby gifts and clothing, lbathed/dressed baby, did baby’s laundry, washed bottles and dishes, other light housework, and more. I loved the way Eartha talked to my baby and sang to her constantly. As soon as baby was opening eyes for extended periods of time she made sure black and white pictures were around to stimulate her. Eartha is forever part of our family and anyone who works with her is more than lucky to have this gem care for their child. She is the best of the best.
