Vale has over three years of experience working with twins. She started caring for twin girls when they were just 3 months old, providing full infant care and later transitioning to toddler care. She also occasionally babysits their 7-year-old brother.
She’s active, organized, and very engaging with the children, always planning fun, age-appropriate activities like trips to playgrounds, the zoo, and museums. Vale works closely with parents to build and follow routines for meals, naps, and activities.

Vale provides bilingual care (English and Spanish), is CPR certified, a safe driver, and COVID vaccinated. She’s also experienced working with diverse and queer families and caring for friendly pets. She’s incredibly responsible, trustworthy, and the kids absolutely adore her.

She recently started school, so her current availability is Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. She is looking for a position caring for a baby (she’s amazing with infants!) and is seeking a minimum of 35 hours per week, up to 40.

Hi! I’m posting this post on behalf of our beloved nanny who was with us for 2 years (from the time my daughter was 2 months to 2 years, recently ended her time with us as our daughter transitioned into school). She is a bright, happy, positive, loving person who absolutely loves and cares for children. She is extremely punctual (never been late or called out unexpectedly) and responsible. She is very trustworthy and was able to take our daughter around the city by stroller/bus/train/cab to various activities, the park, and doctors visits. She fostered a love of reading in our daughter and helped to progress her speech and learning significantly. She is able to take the lead and notice/encourage all transitions (transitions to solids, changes in nap schedules, transition off bottle, potty training, etc). She does not require hand-holding, she is excellent at picking up on cues and meeting transitional needs. She performed any/all ancillary household nanny duties pertaining to children (cleaning up, maintaining tidy drawers and stroller, meal prep/cooking her meals, laundry, cleaning play area, etc).

Overall, we cannot recommend her enough – she is truly someone who has a real passion for childcare backed with significant experience (in children of all ages), who is trustworthy, clean, and able to translate her happy, positive personality on the kids she cares for. As a testament, we have been asked how we found her by numerous families during our time together! We hope we can aid in finding her a new family to shine her light on! Yuby cared for our son from the time he was 6 months old until he turned 2, and she became an invaluable part of our family. She cared for him with so much love, patience, and attentiveness, and we always knew he was in wonderful hands.

Every day, she took him outside for hours to explore, play, and socialize in different environments, playgrounds, parks and his friends playrooms. She found creative ways to engage him with neighborhood classes and was incredibly resourceful, discovering free programs at local recreation centers, libraries, and community events. Thanks to her, our son made many little friends and developed a strong sense of curiosity and confidence.

At home, she prepared healthy, homemade meals, chicken, beef, salmon, vegetables, pasta sauces, and yogurt parfaits, always with no added sugar. She handled his laundry, changed his sheets several times a week, gave him a bath every evening, kept his play area tidy, and cleaned the kitchen and dishwasher daily. She was diligent about diaper changes, proactive about his doctor visits, and never distracted by her phone.

Beyond her daily responsibilities, Yuby cared deeply about his emotional and intellectual development. She celebrated milestones with genuine joy and even organized his 1st and 2nd birthday parties with his neighborhood friends, which meant so much to us.

Our son adored her, as soon as he was able, he gave her a hug every day when she left. We will miss her greatly!

Due to changes in our childcare needs, our amazing nanny is looking to join a new family. We adore Melissa. She has helped our daughter flourish into a happy and resilient child over the past years. Melissa takes remarkable initiative in arranging playdates with children our daughter meets in classes, at the playground, school, or even through her own extensive network. These social interactions, carefully supervised by Melissa, have been instrumental in developing our daughter’s confidence and interpersonal abilities. I cannot overstate the positive impact Melissa’s care has had on our daughter’s development. She is incredibly creative in furthering our daughter’s learning through arts and crafts, physical activities, fine motor skills development, museum visits, songs, number/letter recognition, imaginative play, and more. She regularly identifies activities, classes and educational opportunities that align with our daughter’s interests. Britney was the full-time caretaker for my daughter when she was about ages 3-6, and Britney was a reliable, loving member of our household during that time.

She was playful and fun — she would proactively arrange playdates and spend entire days outside with my daughter and other children. Britney would get the kids jumping and dancing, playing freeze dance or other organized activities when she saw they needed a bit more structure. She formed a tight bond with some of the other nannies from my daughter’s preschool, so they had a nice support network, too. Britney was shuttling my daughter around a lot for those few years — to and from school, to playdates or gymnastics or swimming lessons (or taking my daughter swimming herself) and she never complained and had the patience of a saint to walk at my daughter’s pace. And somehow she’d still manage to have my kid home at the end of the day, bathed, a meal prepared for her and the house tidy.

Britney has excellent judgment. I always felt my child was safe in her care and if Britney felt they were not in a good situation, whether it was a child not making kind choices while playing with my daughter or a questionable environment, she was vocal and would advocate for herself and my daughter. She really does not tolerate someone being unkind or inappropriate, which I appreciate and think she set a good example for my daughter.

I trusted her completely when it came to my daughter’s safety and wellbeing. Britney was always early to arrive in the morning, early to pickups and great at communicating. She also became very attuned to my daughter’s moods and needs; if she noticed something seemed off emotionally or physically, she’d let me know immediately and we’d often work together to get to understand what was going on. She was firm and would hold boundaries, but still warm and loving.

Alejandra (Ale) joined our family when our son was 6 months old. We immediately loved her warmth and positive energy in our house. Ale brings experience in nutrition, in addition to her overall experience in childcare. This helped us as we were introducing our son to solids, and as we looked to wean him off the bottle. She immediately got our son onto a schedule, something we didn’t really know how to do! Ale has developed a wonderful bond with our son, she takes great care of him and helps keep us all organized. We’ve decided to enroll our son in a school in January, and are hoping to help Ale find her next family. Ale is a Spanish speaker, which has been great to expose him to Spanish. In addition to overall childcare, she manages all of his laundry and makes sure the house is always picked up (especially his things). She regularly takes him to the park, or other activities we find. She also likes to sing, read books, and keep our son laughing. (I should also say she always picks out the cutest outfits to put him in!). I work from home and always feel comfortable with Ale in the house – she finds a good balance to be in the apartment with me, but make sure that my son is out of my hair when I’m in meetings or busy. Any family would be lucky to have Ale taking care of their baby.

We met MariaRosa at the start of the pandemic when our oldest daughter had just turned one. We immediately felt a good connection and after a couple months began using her as our full time nanny. We never had to give much instruction, MariaRosa jumped right in and began helping us with everything. She was lovely with our daughter and kept her busy with activities and outings to the park. She kept on top of all of our daughters needs and would buy new outwear or shoes whenever she outgrew old items. She helped our daughter learn how to walk and was constantly working on helping her learn new words and songs. She kept our home tidy and our daughter’s room organized. She would box up old clothes as our daughter outgrew them and keep everything labeled. She did laundry for our whole family and helped make meals and snacks for our daughter. When our oldest started school she helped with school drop offs and pick ups and taking her to various after school activities. She would have everything ready like the ballet bag packed and soccer bag packed with all needed clothing changes and snacks and drinks. She also organized play dates with other Nanny’s and classmates after school. When our younger daughter was born she was there helping us the whole time. She stayed with our older daughter for three days while we were in the hospital and worked very long days in those early weeks helping in any way she could. She was so sweet and most people thought she was a relative. She helped watch our newborn daughter while our oldest was in school and then they would all go out together in the afternoons before returning for dinner. Last year both our girls were in school and she helped in the mornings with drop off and then would help with laundry and housework during the morning and then would do two different school pickups and took the girls to all their afternoon activities.

MariaRosa also traveled with my family a few times. She would have the girls packed beforehand and everything would be labeled by day. She helped watch the girls in transit and helped have them ready for each days activities and then watched them at the hotel or helped with bedtime routine each night.
A couple trips we took we left our girls at home and MariaRosa would stay with them while we were away.

I cannot sing her enough praise. She is truly an amazing nanny and we were so sad to part ways. She was with us for about five and a half years. We only parted ways because we had to move out of state for my husbands job. I’m happy to answer any additional questions you may have.

If you want someone who’s professional, experienced, and amazing with newborns, Tizzony is the one. She has over 7 years of experience and has worked with me as well as other families I know, always going above and beyond.

Tizzony is an overnight baby nurse, giving parents a chance to rest while knowing their baby is in safe, loving hands. She’s patient, caring, and knowledgeable, and I trusted her completely from the very first night. She also gives helpful tips and guidance to make those early weeks easier.

Jen seamlessly joined our family in January right after our son was born. She brought with her many years of experience and a sense of calm that instilled confidence in two new parents nervous about the transition back to work. She has been with us for four years, caring for our son and daughter since we returned to work after each was born. Our kids absolutely love her. We recently moved to New Jersey, which is why we are helping Jen to find a full-time position with a family she can grow with.

Jen is a knowledgeable and experienced childcare professional with 25+ years experience as a nanny working with all age kids, especially babies and toddlers. First and foremost, she is loving and patient. She has cared for our children (and for us) as though they are members of her own family. She is always attentive to our children’s ever evolving needs and has supported our family through many milestones – sleep training, learning to eat, physical milestones, potty training, welcoming a second child to the mix etc.. She has ensured that our children eat delicious and nutritious meals since she joined our family (our kids love her cooking!). She keeps the kids rooms and toys neat even with 2 kids constantly on the go, and the kids always have clean laundry and beds. Jen also loves to be out and about with the kids, taking them around the neighborhood to parks and playgrounds, to gym & music classes, and organizing playdates. At home she sings and reads to them, and gets down on the floor with them to play. She sends pictures during the day so my husband and I feel a part of their adventures.

Yvonne took care of our daughter from when she was 14 months old until now (27 months old) full time. She has been great with the transition from baby to toddler, helping transition from 2-1 nap, say bye to paci, and potty training.  She helps around the house with my daughter’s laundry (washes, folds, and puts away), family dishes, and organizing my daughter’s books/toys. She is flexible on timing and stays late whenever we need her to. She is extremely reliable and communicative – doesn’t call out sick and plans vacations around ours. 

Yvonne lives in Brooklyn and is open to many neighborhoods. In the West Village where we live, she has many nanny friends and knows all the best parks, playgrounds, libraries, free classes, etc. to take her to – she learned that very quickly and will adapt to any neighborhood. They have a special bond and we have felt completely safe with our daughter in Yvonne’s care. She reads and plays with my daughter constantly and has taught her colors, numbers, the alphabet, etc. 
In addition to caring for toddlers and kids, Yvonne has worked as a baby nanny and is CPR trained. 

We are recommending our nanny Martina she is amazing! She has been with us for 4 years. We met her while working in the Dominican Republic. She is very nurturing, patient, caring, reliable and responsible with a very positive attitude. She has taken great care of our daughter since she was 6 months old. Takes her to school, park, all daily activities, prepares her meals, does her laundry and all cleaning related to her. Whenever we need her off her working schedule, she is always available. Our daughter speaks and understands almost everything in Spanish as that is what she speaks. We are moving out of state, Unfortunately the commuting will be impossible for her. We’ve been lucky to have Babita with our 2.5 year-old son since he was a month old. In her prior position, she was with the same family for 13 years. From the start, she’s been a reliable, nurturing, confident, and maternal presence in our home. Babita is organized, communicative throughout the day, and punctual. She keeps our son actively engaged and takes him out daily – to school, parks, the library, music/art/swim classes, and playdates. She is a spectacular cook and regularly prepares meals for our son. She’s thoughtful about what we feed him and has even made natural remedies for our family when any one of us got sick.

During naptime, Babita helps with our laundry, dishes, and keeps our home tidy. My husband and I work long hours and travel frequently; on those days, she’s open and willing to stay late and/or come in early. She often anticipates our needs before we even realize, whether it’s packing for a trip, reorganizing our son’s clothes, reminding me to restock essentials, meal prepping, grocery shopping, etc. Her independence and consistent support around the house has been such a relief for us.

We’d absolutely love to keep Babita as long as possible, but with our son in pre-school, we are looking for a part-time nanny. While she’d prefer to start with a newborn, she’s experienced with children of all ages. Babita is very familiar with downtown Tribeca/Fidi but is open to any location in Manhattan and Brooklyn. Our amazing nanny, who has been with us for over a year since our son was 5 months old, is looking for a new family to join as soon as possible. She was recently set to start with another family who pulled out at the last minute, so she’s available right away.

Avis was with our family for the last 5 years. She worked with our family and helped us take care of our newborn up to this point. My husband and I are relocating the reason why she is looking for a new opportunity. She is kind, patient and caring, Avis takes care of our kids as if she is taking care of her own kids, which she has raised 2 kids of her own and helped her daughter raise 2 grandkids. Since early September 2024, Crystal has been taking care of our two daughters who are 2 and 5 years old. During the school year Crystal was with our younger daughter for most of the day but would also pick up our older daughter from Pre-K and spend a few hours with both of them everyday. Although Crystal has been with us only a year, it feels like longer because she has become a part of our family.

Crystal has a background in early childhood education and is a caring, responsible caregiver to our daughters. She takes our younger daughter on outings every day to places like children’s museums, storytime at local libraries, neighborhood parks, and playgrounds. She’s introduced our 2 year old to interactive exhibits, supported her interest in animals and nature at the zoo and botanical gardens, and takes her to music class and the library to help with her language and motor development. Crystal is always on time, rarely takes a day off, and is a trusted part of our family life.

I’m writing to share news about the most incredible nanny who will be looking for a new family beginning January 2026. Sabrina has been with us since my son came home from the NICU in 2020, and she has truly become a member of our family.

During those early, overwhelming days, Sabrina didn’t just help us—she saved us. I often tell people that Sabrina has renewed my faith in humanity. She’s a constant reminder that there are genuinely amazing, loving people in this world, and it has been an absolute privilege to have her help raise my boys.
We always knew we’d eventually need to part ways when we moved to the suburbs for my work commute. But watching the incredible bond Sabrina formed with our son, and then his younger brother, motivated us to stay in the city longer than planned. We simply couldn’t imagine separating them.

Sabrina is everything you could want in a caregiver: punctual, responsible, generous, and genuinely passionate about working with children. She loves to play and constantly creates fun, enriching activities for the boys. Her social skills are remarkable—she organizes playdates and has helped my children make friends throughout our neighborhood.

The testament to Sabrina’s character? When I mention to anyone that we’re moving, the first question is always “Do the boys know about Sabrina?” Without my even asking, people volunteer to serve as references and sing her praises.
Beyond being an exceptional caregiver, Sabrina is simply a wonderful person and incredibly hard worker. She plans nutritious meals, and during any downtime, she helps around the house. Despite managing two energetic boys, our apartment is always clean and organized. Whenever we’ve needed last-minute help, she’s available without hesitation.

Our nanny, Verilene Roberts (Vee), has been an integral part of our family for the past (almost) 15 years.

From the moment Vee joined us when our son was 3 months old, she brought warmth, patience, and reliability into our home. She cared for our son and then our daughter and kept our house running. She has always been proactive, reliable, and thoughtful, often going above and beyond her duties without being asked. When they were little, Vee made sure the kids were well occupied taking them to the the playground, library, 14th St. Y and various classes and activities over the years.

It’s hard to put into words just how much Vee has meant to us. While we are excited for what lies ahead for her, we are truly sad to see her go. Any family fortunate enough to have Vee in their lives will quickly realize they’ve found someone special.

Elizabeth Stewart helped my husband and I raise our 3 kids from birth for over a decade. She continues to be an integral part of our family as my kids are full grown and stays connected in touch with all of us. And I’m confident all the families she’s cared for and kids who are now full grown would attest to the same. She is incredible with kids of all ages. Her routine, her approach full of love, her smarts, and warmth with a splash of dry humor meets kids (and parents 🙂 at their level. She is loving, trustworthy, loyal and endlessly dependable and also loves music and to sing kids songs. Her experience and wisdom from caring for newborns through kids’ development from nursery through middle school, her calming energy is not only inspiring with kids, its equally a huge support, partnership for parents through all the stages.
