Aloma has been with our family for 10 incredible years.
There truly are not enough words to describe how special she is. She has been so much more than a nanny. She has been a second mom to my daughters and one of the most important people in our lives. When my kids are with her, I never question for a second that they are loved, safe, nurtured, and treated like they are her very own.
In 10 years, not once have I caught her distracted on her phone or anything other than fully engaged with my children. She is constantly playing with them, arranging playdates, planning outings, reading, crafting, teaching, and creating magic in their everyday lives. She is patient, loving, attentive, dependable, and truly one of a kind.
Every one of my children’s teachers over the years has commented on how amazing she is and how lucky we are to have her. She has helped shape my children into the kind, respectful little humans they are today, and I will forever be grateful for the love and care she poured into our family.
She would love to start with a newborn and a family she can grow with. She will be available starting in August.
Our beloved nanny, Ann, is looking for her next family in September (dates flexible – earlier start possible). We’ve worked with Ann since November 2022 and sadly have to say goodbye as our youngest child will be starting school.
Over nearly 4 years, Ann has become a member of our family. She began working with us when our daughter was just over 3 months and then took on our second with ease – so she has lots of experience with newborns and infants, all the way up through elementary and beyond.
But more than the amount of time she has been a nanny (which is ~25 years), Ann protected and loved our children with her whole heart. She grew with our family and supported us at every step, from early infant sleep struggles, cleaning pump bottles, toddler tantrums, sibling conflicts to preschool/friendship quandaries.
Ann is more than a babysitter who will take kids to classes; she is a professional who is fully invested in your child’s growth and development. She actively reads to children and has taught both our children their ABCs, colors, numbers and so much more. People in our community love her, from our neighbors, fellow parents, to librarians; we’ve only received wonderful feedback about how attentive she is to our kids.

Working with Nerisia has been an absolute dream for the last 3.5 years. Nerisia approaches every day with kindness, energy, and adventure. She is fantastic with newborns and has supported our daughter’s development from 6 weeks through all of her major milestones. She has organized her meals every day, done laundry each week for both of our kids, and has curated exciting daily adventures around New York City. She has organized a wonderful playgroup for our daughter and even arranged and decorated her birthday parties. Whether it was picnics, playdates, museums, or rainy day art activities, Nerisia has always ensured that our daughter’s day was structured and engaging.
Nerisia brings immense joy and warmth to her interactions with children, making her a truly exceptional professional. As an excellent communicator, she ensures that we are aligned in our approach to instilling strong values and manners in our children, demonstrating them herself. Her dedication to our children’s education is evident in her willingness to help with homework and teaching our three-year-old her letters. Beyond her unwavering commitment, Nerisia is also incredibly thoughtful, reliable, and punctual. Our entire family regards Nerisia and her family as an integral part of our own, and she will remain a cherished member of our lives long after she finds another family to work with.
We would be thrilled to answer any questions about Nerisia.
I’m happy to provide a reference for our nanny, who was with our family for the past eight months. During her time with us, she was consistently reliable, always arriving on time and maintaining a dependable schedule, which we truly appreciated.
As a first-time mom returning to work, it was very important for me to feel comfortable leaving my son in someone else’s care. She helped make that transition easier, and I always felt that my son was safe and well cared for while I was away.
She was also very consistent with household support, including keeping up with our laundry and helping with day-to-day tasks around the home. She always cleaned up after our son and kept his spaces organized, which made a big difference in our daily routine.
In addition, she regularly attended classes and activities both within our building and in the community. Through this, she helped our son socialize and build connections, creating a small circle of familiar friends for him, which we really valued.
Over time, she became a steady and familiar presence in our home and a part of our family’s routine. She was responsible, trustworthy, and maintained a consistent level of care throughout her employment.
We’re grateful for the support she provided our family and would recommend her to another family seeking a reliable and dependable caregiver.
Our nanny is becoming available and I honestly cannot recommend her enough. She has over 25 years of experience, including previous baby nurse experience, so she is especially amazing with newborns. She cooks, cleans for the kids, and keeps everything organized. She also keeps the children very active and engaged, taking them to Gymboree, the library, the park, and playdates. She is loving, patient, dependable, and truly helped shape my children into the polite kids they are today. Any family would be lucky to have her.

It is bittersweet to pass on our lovely nanny Laurely. She has been a wonderful presence in our family’s life for the past year but with my youngest starting school in the Fall, we no longer need her full-time help.
What stands out most about Laurely is her calm, steady nature. No matter what the day brings—tantrums, schedule changes, sick kids, or the general chaos that comes with family life—she remains completely unflappable. She has a wonderful ability to stay calm under pressure and create a sense of stability for everyone around her.
She is also exceptionally flexible and accommodating. Whether we needed her to come earlier, stay later, or adjust plans at the last minute, she was always willing to help and did so graciously. We always knew we could rely on her.
Most importantly, she clearly finds so much joy in spending time with children. She always shares stories from their day, observations about their development and reasons she loves the boys.
She has been a gift to our family, and we would love to help her find a new family who will appreciate her as much as we do.
STOP SCROLLING: INCREDIBLE NANNY AVAILABLE 💫
My wonderful nanny Heather is available to join another family part-time and I would love to connect you! She has been with our family since my son was 3 mths old (he’s now 9.5 months) and I’m so happy to have found her (through a mommybites rec!).
Heather has 25 years of nanny experience and is such a gentle, nurturing, and caring addition to our home! I work from home freelance and it’s been such a joy to have her with me to help care for our baby.
The important deets:
– Schedule/Availability: We use Heather 20 hours a week, Monday through Thursday, 1pm – 6pm each day. An ideal situation would be for us to keep this schedule, but I am flexible either ad-hoc (as things arise) or if a later start is needed on our end. It’s preferable that we find someone who wants her for 15-30 hours a week in the mornings Monday through Thursday, with the option to use her all day on Fridays (we don’t use her on Friday).
8am – 12pm M-Thurs and 8am – anytime Friday would be great for her! As mentioned, though, I am freelance so can easily adjust our schedule weekly if needed. I’m excited to find another family to coordinate with!
– Location: We are based in the Financial district and Heather lives in Park Slope, so anyone in the following areas would be best: Lower Manhattan (Tribeca, Battery Park, Soho, LES, Financial District, Fulton/Seaport), Brooklyn (Park Slope, Brooklyn Heights, Cobble Hill, Dumbo)
Feel free to reach out to me and I can connect you 🙂
Dada started working for our family in December of 2021. We had just welcomed our first son, William. I had extremely high standards and didn’t find the right person, until Dada. From the second I met Dada, I knew she was the person for us. I felt an instant connection and sense of trust with her. Dada has 20+ yrs of experience with children and exudes confidence. She walked into our home and immediately knew what to do. She helped me with sleep schedule, feeding and most importantly social and cognitive development. I was able to return to work and knew that my son was receiving exceptional care and with someone who cared deeply for him. They quickly became best friends.
Dada is very savvy and knows how to navigate the city. She finds play dates, parks, classes, libraries, etc. some of our close friends, we found through Dada. She set up play dates with nannies and eventually we got to know the parents and formed a relationship.
Dada understands the importance of reading to children. Every night when I would come home from work, I would find them reading books. My son has developed a strong passion for reading. Again, she is extremely active and engaged in the child’s development.
I gave birth again, shortly after William. I eventually stopped working to be home full time and Dada and I divided and conquered with the boys.
Both of my children had an instant connection and love for Dada. My youngest is a strong willed, active and independent baby and now toddler. Dada was the perfect fit for him. Again, she knows how to handle all types of children and help guide them and their behavior. My boys have always listened to Dada, she has a true gift!
Dada is extremely dependable, reliable and professional. She takes her job very seriously and has an amazing work ethic. Safety is always her number one priority. I trust her more than anyone with my children. She is extremely loving, caring and warm. I would often hear her saying good morning my love. She is a true gem and irreplaceable. She had had a profound impact on my boys and me. She helped me in so many ways and ultimately made me a better mother.
My family and I recently moved to CT and although I wish terribly that she could come with us, she has a beautiful family in NJ and needs to be with them and can’t commute to CT. Please reach out to me for more information. I could go on and on about our beautiful relationship and experience with Dada. You can also reach out to Dada at 917-971-9308.
Rolande has worked with us for 5.5 years taking care of our now 7 yr old, 6 yr old, and 3 yr. old. She started when my 2nd was just 6 months and proved herself very capable of managing three young children. She helped us with school pick-up and drop-off both within Manhattan and when we moved up to Westchester County. She pays close attention to the children and has always kept them safe.
She is independently capable and very proactive in finding activities for the children by making playdates, finding local activities, taking the kids to the playground, and going to the library. Rolande managed the timing of naps, school pickups, snacks, etc. without blinking an eye. The kids feel very close to her and really enjoy spending time with her.
She is multilingual and we appreciated that she spoke French to our children, but she is also a fluent English speaker. She was always on time and very communicative with my husband and I to coordinate care, activities, and share photos of the kids’ adventures of the day. She helped our kids with getting out the door in the morning and prepared their lunches. Even though housekeeping was not part of her responsibility, she often found little ways to help clean up the kitchen or sweep up the kids crumbs. She always left things in better shape than when she arrived without us having to ask her.
She occasionally babysat for us in the evenings or on the weekend when it worked out for everyone’s schedules. When she did, she had no problem getting the kids fed, bathed, and into bed on time. We have really appreciated having her and are reluctantly letting her go because our kids will all be in school next year.
Our amazing previous nanny, Stephie, will shortly be available for a new family, and I cannot recommend her highly enough!
Stephie was a phenomenal addition to our family since day one, and our kids are still incredibly happy to have her in our lives. She worked with us as a live-in nanny from 2023 up until mid-2025 when our family relocated to Connecticut. Another family was lucky enough to scoop her up for the past year, but since they are also relocating out of the city, she is back on the market!
To say Stephie is capable is a massive understatement. When she started with us, she managed our 4, 3, and 1 year old with absolute grace. During her time with us, she not only guided them through major milestones until they were 7, 6, and 4, but she also cared for our newborn until she was a year old. Juggling the schedules, energy, and needs of four young children takes a very special level of organization, patience, and love and she did it flawlessly.
She is proactive, deeply caring, and becomes a true extension of the family. If you are looking for someone who can handle the beautiful chaos of multiple children or just want peace of mind knowing your little ones are in the best hands, Stephie is your person.
Our former nanny is looking for a new position and we’d love to help her find a new family. She is like family to us and we’d love to find her a great family to work with next.
She is looking for a full-time, live-out position in NYC. Please reach out to Lana directly at (929) 842-4067 or me.
Lana was with us for over 2 years and helped with my newborn and twin boys. She was great with all of them, and my kids still love catching up with her, even my daughter who was about 2.5 the last time Lana took full time care of her! She truly is the best!
Lana is trustworthy, reliable, and punctual. She always came to work on time and stayed late when we needed her to. She’s an excellent cook, and was able to adapt to our requests – she even cooked some Indian dishes for the kids. We had the added benefit of having some friends in our building who would see Lana with our kids in action and would always comment on how great she was with the kids. She was always incredibly patient and caring. You really couldn’t be getting a better nanny!
While we had her take care of kids laundry and cooking for the kids, she was always willing to help out. if she saw we had our laundry unfolded in the dryer, she’d fold it without asking if she had time. We, of course, never wanted to take advantage so never asked her to do more for us since that’s not what we agreed upon. I’m sure she’d be willing to do more if discussed beforehand.
We never needed her to work weekends, but she was always willing to when needed and I believe has for the last family she was with.
Even now, when we’ve needed someone we could trust to leave our kids with while my son went for a surgery, she was willing to come and help out while her other family was on vacation. She just really is the best nanny you could find!
Feel free to reach out directly and of course if you have any questions happy to answer any questions you might have about her.
Ernie was with our family for thirteen years, starting when our older daughter was a toddler and then taking care of our younger daughter as well from birth. Ernie handled everything: bottle feeding and diaper changes; the transition to solid foods; arranging playdates; shuttling the kids to lessons and practices; making sure they did their homework. She also did laundry, cleaned, ran errands, and made dinner for our family. She even walked the dog sometimes. She was flexible with her hours, coming in early and staying late when needed. She was patient with kids’ tantrums. She genuinely loved the kids. Being a nanny is a calling for her. She became a member of our family. We’d trust her with anything. We could not recommend her more highly.
AMAZING Nanny Available July. UWS / Columbus Circle / Waterline Square Park Area.
Our family is relocating outside of the city. We are heartbroken to be saying goodbye to our incredible nanny who has looked after our 15-month old daughter like her own.

Please text Sharma at 347-499-1576 if interested in getting her information. We are excited to support her as a reference!
Hi everyone! Our superhero nanny is looking for her new family (FT or PT) as our daughter is in school full-time. She has been a rock for our family for over 4 years since our daughter was 3 months old and has loved our daughter like one of her own. I cannot recommend her enough and I don’t even know how to describe how important she has been to our family. She is extremely reliable, has never been late, she does our laundry and very light cleaning, is great at organizing playdates, takes our daughter out all day to the park and playgrounds and classes and cares for our daughter in the most meaningful ways and has helped raise her into an incredible person. Julie was with her previous family for 10 years and they are also available to chat regarding a recommendation. She is looking for part-time or full-time. Please reach out to me with any questions or reach out to Julie directly. Thank you!
Daniela is truly so caring and enthusiastic. She has been caring for our almost one year old since he was four months old. I have watched her adapt to his development and needs. She has found wonderful daytime activities at the libraries and also spends a lot of time at the park. She is incredible with him, flexible with his every mood and communicative with us.
Daniela knows how to properly handle breast milk and formula. She is happy to prepare meals now that he is eating solids.
Daniela always tidies up, doing any dishes used during the day and making sure toys are put away when done being used.
Daniela is also wonderful with our cats, including one who is quite temperamental.
I cannot recommend her highly enough
Yvonne was our nanny from the time our daughter was a few months old until she was 11 and she is an absolutely wonderful nanny. She is a very responsible, caring, gentle and encouraging person. I particularly appreciated how engaged she was with our daughter when at home or on regular trips to the parks, museums and around the neighborhood. She was a dream come true for our family. I frequently received compliments from other parents about how great Yvonne was with our daughter and I always felt completely secure with leaving our daughter in Yvonne’s care. We had such a great experience with her! Yvonne also has experience with newborns, including working as a baby nurse. Happy to do reference calls.
I highly recommend Tasha as a caregiver and nanny. She has worked with my three children, ages 1, 3, (from birth) and 13, and has consistently demonstrated exceptional patience, professionalism, and dedication.
She holds a master’s degree in special education and general education with certifications for grades 5–9 and 7–12 and has over 10 years of successful experience teaching math and science. Her educational background has been invaluable in helping my children academically. She regularly assisted my 13-year-old with homework and test preparation, including support for state exams, and found creative, age-appropriate ways to help my 3-year-old develop early learning skills.
Beyond academics, she easily builds strong relationships with children of all ages. She is attentive to each child’s individual needs and does an excellent job balancing learning, fun, and structure. She enjoys taking children to parks, museums, aquariums, zoos, libraries, and other local activities that encourage exploration and learning.
In addition to childcare, she has also been willing to help occasionally with household tasks such as children’s laundry and organizing when needed. The kids are her priority, and she ensures that they are in a well-functioning environment. One of her greatest strengths is her flexibility—she adapts well to changing schedules and family needs and is always dependable and accommodating with proper communication.
She has been a tremendous support to our family, and I would confidently recommend her to any family looking for a caring, knowledgeable, reliable, and engaging nanny. Her combination of educational expertise, childcare experience, and genuine love for children makes her an outstanding caregiver.
ABOUT: Joy is seeking a full-time position on the Upper West Side. While she is experienced with children of all ages, her preference is to start with an infant or young child allowing her to support a child’s development from the very beginning and build a long-term relationship with the family as they grow. Prefers a doorman or elevator building and a household without dogs/cats.
It is difficult to put into words how much Joy has meant to our family. Due to changing family circumstances, we are helping our wonderful nanny find her next long-term family — a transition we are making only reluctantly, as she has become such an important part of our lives.
Joy has been a huge part of our family for over six years. She started with both of our children from birth and has cared for them through every stage of infancy, toddlerhood, and early childhood. Our children absolutely adore her, and she cares for them with an extraordinary level of love, attentiveness, and dedication.
Joy’s name describes her perfectly — she brings joy, warmth, positivity, love, and energy to every family she works with. She is loving, patient, dependable, and someone we trust completely. In more than six years with our family, Joy has never once taken a sick day. She is exceptionally reliable, always shows up with a positive attitude, and has been someone we could count on without hesitation through every season of family life.
What truly sets Joy apart is how engaged she is with the children in her care. She is not someone who simply supervises children — she actively participates in their world. She is constantly singing songs, making up games, creating adventures, organizing activities, encouraging imagination, and finding ways to make everyday moments fun and memorable. She has a special ability to meet children at their level and make them feel seen, valued, and loved.
Beyond providing exceptional daily care, Joy forms deep and meaningful bonds with the children she cares for. She approaches caregiving with patience, kindness, and enthusiasm, creating an environment where children feel safe, confident, and happy. She is incredibly nurturing and attentive while also encouraging independence, curiosity, and development through play and exploration.
With years of experience working with Upper West Side families, Joy is deeply connected to the neighborhood community and knowledgeable about local classes, programs, playgrounds, and activities for young children. She is thoughtful, proactive, trustworthy, and an invaluable partner to parents.
Joy is available beginning in July and is seeking a full-time position on the Upper West Side. She would ideally love to work with one child, preferably an infant or child under one year old, so she can grow with a family long term. She prefers a doorman or elevator building and is seeking a household without pets.
Given her nurturing nature, extensive infant experience, endless energy, remarkable reliability, and genuine love for children, I know she would be an extraordinary asset to the right family. We have personally verified her previous references and can recommend her wholeheartedly and without hesitation.
Please feel free to message me if you’d like additional information or to be connected directly with Joy.
We are moving out of the city and cannot recommend highly enough our nanny, Jenny. She has been with us for a year and came to us when my daughter was 2.5 years old. She was with her prior family for 14 years before joining us.
Jenny stepped in and immediately gained the trust of our daughter who was navigating separation anxiety and difficulty with routine changes. She helped us through potty training and the start of pre-school, and then a few months later, when my son was born, she helped our whole family adjust to a new dynamic. Since then, Jenny has taken care of both of my children, handling various tasks including school pickup/drop-off, organizing playdates, meal prep, following a feeding/nap schedule for my son, and other related responsibilities.
Jenny demonstrates patience, dedication and remarkable reliability. In the year she worked for our family, Jenny took no sick days. She displays a love for children and creates nurturing and safe environments for their development. She has excellent judgment, communicates clearly and handles situations professionally. Beyond childcare, meal prep, and household management, she brings warmth, creativity, and natural ability to connect with all ages. She also became beloved by our daughter’s pre-school staff.
Jenny is looking for a full time position ideally in Brooklyn or Manhattan. She is available beginning the first week of August.

Sharon is a loving, caring, and takes pride in raising her children. She possesses 20 years of experience and still stays in contact with her prior families. She is immaculately clean and tidy. She does the entire family’s laundry, organizes the house, and sweeps frequently. She is reliable and always punctual and arrives 20-30 minutes early every day.
