My husband and I cannot recommend Francis highly enough.
As first-time parents, we were (and still are) relatively clueless when it comes to caring for a little one. Fortunately, a family in our building that had worked with Francis for several years (she cared for both their son and daughter until elementary school) introduced us after learning that we were looking for support. Francis is incredibly patient, nurturing, and respective of our wishes as parents. She treats our daughter as her own and the bond between them is undeniable. Francis has decades of experience and seemingly boundless energy. We are are grateful to have been the beneficiaries of her knowledge, sense of humor, and guidance (which we seek everyday). To say that she has been an invaluable part of our family and in raising our daughter would be an understatement.
In terms of the day-to-day, Francis provides a predictable routine (without being too rigid) that always includes getting outside (weather permitting), socializing with other children, and offering stimulative play. Our nursery and kitchen are always clean and she arrives on time without fail. We are confident that she will be as valuable to whichever family is fortunate enough to welcome her next and would be happy to connect to provide additional information as needed.
It is difficult to put into words how grateful we are for the care Susan has provided to our family. As we prepare to move out of New York City, the hardest part of the transition is saying goodbye to her.
Susan is hoping to find a new family in Lower Manhattan with a newborn, where she can build a meaningful, lasting connection and be part of their journey from the very beginning.
Susan has cared for our son from the time he was just four months old, and quickly became an invaluable part of our family. She brought warmth, patience, wisdom, and professionalism to every day, helping our son grow from a tiny infant into a curious, active toddler.
With more than twenty years of childcare experience, Susan possesses a depth of knowledge that is immediately apparent. Whether it was establishing routines, introducing new foods, encouraging developmental milestones, navigating sleep transitions, or simply understanding what our son needed on any given day, she always approached her work with confidence and expertise. As first-time parents, we often found ourselves relying on her judgment and experience, and we were consistently grateful for her guidance.
What makes Susan truly special is the combination of her professionalism with a genuine love for children. She is endlessly nurturing, attentive, and engaged. She talks, reads, sings, and plays with our son in a way that promotes learning and development while making him feel completely safe and loved. Our son lights up when he sees her every morning, and the bond they share is a testament to the care she provides.
Susan is also remarkably dependable. She is punctual, responsible, highly communicative and someone we trusted completely with our child. Every day, we had total confidence that our son was receiving exceptional care, attention, and affection. She is also an excellent story teller and finds such joy in talking about the adventures they would go on each and every day.
Her familiarity with Manhattan is a tremendous asset that cannot be understated. After decades of working with families in the city, she knows the parks, classes, libraries, play spaces, and neighborhood resources that help children thrive. She is proactive about creating enriching experiences and keeping little ones engaged with the world around them.
We have met many caregivers over the years, and without hesitation, we believe Susan is among the very best nannies in Manhattan. Any family fortunate enough to hire her will gain not only an extraordinary caregiver, but also a trusted and experienced partner in raising their children.
We recommend Susan wholeheartedly and without reservation. Please feel free to contact us if you would like to discuss our experience further.
Sharon is an experienced, warm, and highly dependable caregiver currently working with an 8-month-old infant in New York City. In her time with our family, she has proven herself to be engaging and communicative — always keeping us informed and involved — while bringing genuine enthusiasm for our son’s growth and development.
Sharon approaches infant care with both attentiveness and intention. She understands that the early months are a critical window for development, and she actively engages with our son in ways that support his physical and cognitive milestones. She has become a true part of our family, and we trust her completely to look out for our son’s wellbeing in every situation.
Families looking for a caregiver who treats the role as more than a job — someone who shows up reliably, communicates openly, and genuinely invests in a child’s wellbeing — will find exactly that in Sharon.
She is available Mondays and Tuesdays and would be a wonderful addition to any family. Please reach out with any questions!
During her time with our family, Marion was responsible for our daughter’s daily routines, from the essentials like diaper changes, getting dressed, tidying up, feedings, and bathing to the enriching time spent singing songs, playing games, reading books, and providing emotional comfort, Marion did it all. She was consistently punctual and reliable as well as flexible when our schedules deviated from the usual routine.
On a daily basis, Marion brought a wonderful balance of structure and adventure to our daughter’s life. She ensured every day was active and engaging, whether they were exploring the local library, running around the playground, or meeting new toddler friends in the neighborhood. What we appreciated most was her natural initiative; she never needed a “to-do” list. Marion simply took it upon herself to get out into the community, constantly finding creative ways to help our daughter learn, socialize, and explore the world around her.
I am deeply grateful for the knowledge and caring Marion displayed. As a first time parent, I often looked to her for guidance and was met with a calming presence and caring demeanor. Marion displayed a genuine bond with our daughter, which transcends the daily checklist of duties or sticking to the nap schedule. It created a feeling of connection and love in our home that is cherished.
We’ve trusted Lorena since January 2025, when our youngest son (Flo) was just 4 months old and our older son was 3.5. She has been a steady, loving presence through so many stages, from bottles and naps to preschool prep, and we are endlessly grateful for the care she has given both boys.
Lorena has become a true member of our family. She cares for Flo full-time and has flexed into care for both children whenever we needed extra help due to illness or school breaks. We have said that Lorena is our very own Mary Poppins! She brings genuine warmth and curiosity to every day, and the boys light up when she walks in.
Lorena has made Flo something of a local celebrity. Their Starbucks outings are a beloved ritual, and the two of them are regularly out exploring, grabbing lunch, and visiting parks near and far. When she’s caring for both boys, she takes them on wonderful adventures around the city, from the Central Park Zoo to neighborhood parks and libraries. She’s adept at navigating the subway with kids!
She has a background in preschool education, speaks English and Spanish fluently, and has taught Flo Spanish from infancy. He is entering a Spanish immersion preschool fluent, even though neither of his parents speak the language.
When we learned that Flo has a seizure disorder, Lorena judiciously learned the specifics of how to care for him and prepare for difficult medical situations. We trust her wholeheartedly and have given her medical authorization to make decisions for both children in emergency situations.
Lorena is the one caregiver who brings the excitement that mitigates any stress of parents stepping out for work or a date. Our oldest has had several caregivers, and Lorena stands apart.
Sabina has truly become a part of our family since she started with us when our oldest was just five months old. What makes her so special is her pure, natural instinct with children; she brings immense patience, warmth, and genuine joy to the daily chaos of raising two active little boys. She handles the logistics of managing multiple kids at once with total grace and is incredibly proactive. Instead of just staying in the house, Sabina completely immersed our kids in the community, tracking down local playgroups and building a wonderful network of neighborhood friends so they were always learning and socializing. To show just how much she meant to everyone, Sabina organized a beautiful goodbye party for our boys, and it was clear from the tears that the local nannies and kids were just as heartbroken to say goodbye to her as they were to our sons. She is deeply reliable, trustworthy, and gave us total peace of mind every single day. We love her dearly and cannot recommend her highly enough for a family looking for a wonderful, long-term nanny.
Looking to help our nanny Tricia find a new family starting in August after we move out of state.
Tricia has been with us for the past two years looking after our daughters now 5 and 2yrs old. She is a ray of sunshine and constant source of positivity for our kids. She quickly formed a bond with our kids and became friends with other nannies in the neighborhood, leading us to meet other families nearby.
She is extremely reliable and always on time in the mornings. Tricia is willing to travel within Brooklyn and Manhattan – and bonus, has experience with twins!
We are so sad to be parting ways with our wonderful nanny, Stephy. She has been with our family for just over a year, and the only reason we are saying goodbye is because we are moving.
Stephy cares for our two daughters, ages 3.5 and 5, and we absolutely adore her. Originally from Brazil, she was an au pair before joining our family and has been an incredible part of our lives ever since.
Stephy is reliable, responsible, loving, and incredibly hardworking. She is always on time (and most days arrives early!) and is extremely flexible. My husband and I both work in the city, and when trains are delayed or work runs late, it has never been an issue for her.
In addition to taking wonderful care of our girls, Stephy helps keep our household running smoothly. She does the girls’ laundry, prepares their school lunches, picks them up from school, takes them to all of their activities, prepares dinner, and handles bath time. She is proactive, organized, and always willing to help wherever needed.
One of the things we love most about Stephy is how invested she is in our children’s happiness. She has built a great network of friends in our neighborhood and is constantly arranging playdates and fun activities for the kids. She truly treats our daughters like family and has become an extension of our own family.
We wish we could keep her and would love to help her find another amazing family. Stephy is looking for a full-time position and will be available beginning August 1.
Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions or would like to speak with us about our experience. We cannot recommend her highly enough.
We are seeking a new family for our amazing nanny of six years, as our family’s needs and circumstances shift this coming fall.
Rebeca has been working with our family since August 2020. She has cared for my two children (currently ages 4 and 6) since they were babies and has served as a foundational element of our family ecosystem.
Rebeca is extremely consistent and dependable, kind, loving, hard-working, and flexible. She has guided my children and supported our family through every phase — from nap transitions to starting solids, potty training and paci weaning, making friends and starting school full time. She prepares nutritious meals for the children and maintains a consistent laundry and cleaning schedule that keeps our home impeccably organized and clean. She brings the children to and from all of their scheduled activities and appointments and is flawlessly punctual. Rebeca speaks primarily Spanish with our children but is proficient in English as well, and my children have grown up surrounded by books, songs, and stories in both languages thanks to her.
Rebeca has many years of experience nannying in New York City and with that comes a deep and trusted network in the neighborhood. From the earliest days, she arranged park and neighborhood play dates with other nannies and children and cultivated a tight-knit community for my children that has endured over time. My children spend ample amounts of time on playgrounds and in the park in between school and scheduled activities, and I know that every minute spent in her care is joyful, social, and well-supervised. Over the years, I have received countless comments and messages from other parents who interact with her in the park or at school regarding how exceptional she is.
Rebeca is a deeply seasoned, experienced caregiver. She is the epitome of consistency and dependability. Above all, our children simply adore her, and I do as well. She has the warmest, most genuine heart and cares for my children as if they were her own. I recommend her with the very highest regard.
Fantastic nanny – strongly recommend.
Do not miss this opportunity to work with the best nanny in the business!
Gloria has been an incredible part of our family and has cared for our children with the same love, attention, and dedication as if they were her own. At times, it feels like she is taking care of all of us, not just the kids. She is exceptionally caring, attentive, patient, and engaged every single day.
She is constantly reading with the children, planning activities, taking them outdoors, and keeping them active and stimulated. She takes them to the library multiple times a week and genuinely enjoys helping them learn, explore, and grow. Everywhere we go, people in town recognize her and often stop us to compliment how attentive and interactive she is with the children.
She starts and ends every day with our kids with a big hug and a smile. Not once has she ever come in with a “bad mood” — she consistently brings warmth, positivity, and energy into our home every single day.
She has been with our oldest son since he was just 3 months old and has played a massive role in helping both children become happy, emotionally intelligent, creative, and confident. She is also incredibly dependable and always willing to stay extra time when needed to help us transition from work or handle last-minute responsibilities.
Our lives truly would not be the same without her. The impact she has had on our family and especially on our children has been immeasurable.
We are so excited to recommend our incredible nanny, Melissa, to a new family through Mommybites!
Melissa has been an essential part of our family, bringing over 24 years of hands-on childcare experience with children ranging from as young as 6 weeks old through the early teen years. She is not only deeply nurturing and attentive, but also incredibly knowledgeable when it comes to child development, routines, milestones and is a mother to 3 adult women.
Melissa enters our home with a happy energetic disposition ready to get the day started. She has a natural ability to create a warm, loving, and structured environment where children feel safe, supported, and truly seen. From introducing solids and managing sleep regressions to potty training and navigating toddler transitions, she approaches every stage with patience, confidence, and care.
She is dependable, proactive, and fully invested in the well-being of the children she cares for.
Melissa takes initiative with assuming all responsibilities pertaining to the children from meal prep, organizing schedules, engaging activities, and ensuring each child’s emotional and developmental needs are met. Most importantly, she treats the children as if they were her own—with genuine love and dedication.
Melissa is currently available and looking to join a new family mostly on Monday and/or Wednesdays, (as she is currently working with another family) where she can continue to offer her exceptional care and become a trusted, long-term support system.
Any family would be truly lucky to have her.
Please feel free to reach out for more details or a direct reference—we cannot recommend her enough!
Andrea has been absolutely wonderful with our two children, ages 5 and 7. She brings incredible energy and enthusiasm to every day, constantly engaging the kids in sports, games, outdoor play, creative activities, and reading. Our children adore her and genuinely look forward to spending time with her, whether they are reading books together or playing one of the many imaginative games she creates.
She is great with babies and toddlers as well, she has a wonderful demeanor and is incredibly easy to work with. We can’t say good enough things about her!
She speaks Spanish and English, and we loved that she would help teach our children Spanish words and phrases.
Lusy has been our nanny for the past three years, caring for our two children — now ages 5 and 3. Over that time, she has become an invaluable part of our family and has developed a wonderful familiarity with the Tribeca and greater Manhattan area, including parks, libraries, museums, and local activities for children. She will be available for a new full-time position beginning in September.
Her daily responsibilities with us have included packing meals, changing diapers, accompanying the children to after-school activities, and planning fun and educational outings — particularly to museums, which she genuinely loves. Above all, Lusy has consistently provided a safe, nurturing, and loving environment for both of our children. She has also gone above and beyond by helping build a small community for our kids — organizing playdates and connecting with other local nannies and families. She is always recommending classes, activities, and programs that keep children engaged, socialized, and developing new skills.
Before joining our family, Lusy served as a Head Teacher in a toddler classroom (ages 1–2), where she was responsible for creating and implementing developmentally appropriate lesson plans supporting children’s social-emotional, physical, and cognitive growth. Prior to that, she worked as a Teacher’s Assistant and Applied Behavioral Therapist for children with autism, working one-on-one with each child to help them meet monthly milestones and make daily progress. She focused on building independence, improving vocabulary, developing motor skills, and incorporating essential life skills into daily routines in a gentle, supportive way.
Lusy is currently pursuing a degree in Early Childhood Education and brings several years of hands-on experience with children of various ages and needs. She is extremely responsible, outgoing, and trustworthy, and is comfortable caring for infants through school-age children.
Her strengths include patience, creativity, and a genuine love for children. As a former head teacher, she designed engaging lesson plans that helped students develop fine motor skills, sensory awareness, and artistic expression. She is a strong advocate for outdoor play and exploration, and she handles all routines — feeding, naps, diapering, and maintaining a clean, organized space — with care and consistency. She brings positive energy to every environment and has built a warm, trusting relationship with our entire family.
Lusy is based in Manhattan and is seeking a long-term, full-time Monday–Friday position beginning in September, ideally around 8 hours per day. She is bilingual in English and Spanish, CPR certified, and has completed multiple safety and early childhood education trainings.
We wholeheartedly recommend Lusy as a flexible, reliable, and deeply caring presence for any family. Any child would be lucky to have her.
This post is bittersweet for us. Our children’s caretaker has been with our family for more than 15 years; since our oldest was three months old. She is truly a special part of our family. Unfortunately, we have reached the point in our lives where it is time to transition her to a new family with whom she can work full time and grow. She is available to start as early as July 1st but we can arrange something sooner if you are in a bind!
My daughters love her. She has not only helped care for them but she has helped raise them. She is comfortable with infants – feeding the most finicky eaters, getting down on the floor to play, and always taking them out for fresh air, socialization, and fun in the neighborhood. She is warm, caring, and loving. There was never a concern when she was around.
She is also dependable and reliable. She never balks at taking the girls to playdates, parties, afterschool activities, or any of their appointments. She has managed school routines, activities, transportation, doctor’s appointments, meals, cooking, light cleaning, food shopping, errands, and random day-to-day responsibilities that keep a family running.
Throughout the years, she has adapted as their personalities, schedules, responsibilities, and needs have changed. She is affectionate and nurturing, but also capable, practical, and completely reliable. She is also very flexible, often willing to stay late when needed.
She is also extremely comfortable navigating New York City. She has taken our girls on buses and subways to and from school, activities, appointments, and events all over the city. We have always trusted her completely with their safety and well-being.
If you’d be interested in more information or connecting with her, please send me a message!
Amazing nanny available in July!
Due to a shift in our family’s needs, our nanny Avril is looking for a new family (or families!) starting in July. She has been with us since our daughter was 4 months old and has been an incredibly loving and dedicated caregiver. She has a calm, confident presence and was a huge lift in my transition back to work.
Avril is an excellent communicator and deeply invested in the growth and happiness of the children she takes care of. She actually thrives on seeing our baby develop and we credit her daily “baby boot camp” with helping our daughter grow and learn every day! She helps keep our daughter on a consistent schedule (no easy task with an infant) and is always doing activities with her both in and out of the apartment. She takes pride in picking the best outfits for our baby out for the day and is on top of her laundry and organizing her clothes and room. She is incredibly communicative and will always tell us when she thinks our daughter needs something (whether a change in her schedule, toys/clothes, or a bath – which she will happily do!). As a working mom, I leave every day knowing my baby is in great hands and that peace of mind is priceless.
She has more than 20 years of childcare experience, including over 10 years working in nanny shares and caring for multiple children at once. She would be an excellent fit for a family with a newborn, a nanny share, or a family with multiples. She is especially experienced with infants and is ideally looking for a full-time position with a newborn or young baby. She has excellent references available.
Please reach out if you’d like to connect and we can chat more!
Paola is extremely loving and caring. She cared about our 2 year old from a bit after he was born to now, but we’re sending him to a local preschool and she needs full time job.
Our 2 year old was very picky and he didn’t like anyone except for his parents, even sitters that had seen him many times. Paola managed to get him to like her on the first visit! She has a gift with kids especially younger babies/toddlers.
Our two year old flourished in her care, to the point that he’s now speaking three languages before he even turns two. Paola naturally talked to him all the time which I believe helped him develop his early language skills.
Beyond that, she’s punctual, never had any concerns about the safety of our baby and she was always flexible when we were running late from work or had the occasional last minute commitment pop up.
Having Beatriz as Clara’s nanny has been a wonderful experience; our daughter has learned so much from her—Beatriz taught her languages and helped her prepare for the school talent show. Beatriz is a talented artist with extensive experience working with children of all ages, having previously taught children’s theater in her home country. Unfortunately, we are moving to another city, and Clara has grown up quite a bit. We believe Beatriz is the best choice to look after your children, thanks to her genuinely kind nature.
Yolande has been with our family for seven years, since my daughter was just two months old, and she has been an essential part of our lives. She is a certified nanny with 20+ years of experience caring for children from the newborn stage through elementary school, and she brings a combination of warmth, professionalism, attentiveness, and extensive knowledge of child development. She has CPR training and all her vaccines are up to date.
When my daughter was a baby, she was diligent about tummy time, naps, feeding, and every detail of newborn care. As my daughter has grown, Yolande has continued to support her development in age-appropriate ways, helping her navigate friendships, social situations, school routines, activities, and the everyday emotional moments that come with growing up.
Things we have valued most:
· She is loving, trustworthy, conscientious, and keeps things clean, organized, and calm.
· She has always been personally invested in my daughter’s well-being and development.
· She helped guide my husband and me through the newborn and toddler years with confidence and care.
· She prepares fresh, healthy, balanced meals from scratch and cares about good nutrition.
· She is highly communicative and reliable, always letting us know where they are, when they are moving from one place to another, and sharing updates, photos, and videos.
· She has proactively built relationships with other caregivers and families and has organized events like group art projects and Easter Egg Hunts, helping ensure my daughter had a rich social life, especially during the preschool years.
· She has the flexibility to babysit extra hours in the evenings and on weekends
· She is from Paris and fluent in French. She spoke to my daughter exclusively in French as a baby (my daughter’s first words were in French) and now continues to do dedicated French-speaking time with her each week.
We were incredibly lucky to find Yolande, and want to help her find a wonderful long- term family. Our relationship is rooted in trust, care, and mutual respect, and we would love to see her bring her experience, warmth, and steady presence to another family.

I am writing to strongly recommend Carolina as a baby nurse/nanny. Carolina lived with our family and cared for our son from birth until six months of age. During that time, she reliably supported our household and provided steady, attentive and loving care to our newborn.
Carolina consistently kept detailed records of our son’s sleep, feeding, and play, which helped us track his routines and development. She sent countless pictures each day of his activities which helped us with missing him while at work. She maintained a predictable daily structure for him and took him on regular walks, ensuring he had a calm, consistent environment. We always felt comfortable knowing he was being well cared for.
In addition to her childcare responsibilities, Carolina was helpful around the house. She routinely tidied shared spaces—such as emptying the dishwasher or straightening the kitchen—without asking. While we did not require assistance with cooking, she made it clear she was open to helping in that area as well.
As two physicians with demanding schedules, having someone dependable looking after our infant was essential. Carolina fulfilled her role reliably, and we felt confident leaving our son in her care each day. She was also very flexible with changes to our work schedules and open to supporting us however we needed.
Carolina is now seeking a position with a new family, ideally with a newborn with the possibility of transitioning into a long-term nanny role. We already have a nanny caring for our 2.5-year-old which is why we won’t be able fit this role for her. She would be a wonderful addition to a household looking for consistent, reliable, loving and attentive early infant care.
Please feel free to reach out with any questions. I am happy to discuss our experience further.
Sincerely,
Kelsey Martin
