Anne also has helped integrate our daughter into our community, building relationships throughout the neighborhood, and arranging playdates to facilitate growing our daughter’s social skills. She handles transportation to and from classes and activities with such care, establishing communication with teachers and providers to update us on our daughter’s progress. Her ability to manage not just childcare but also child-related household tasks like laundry and maintaining tidy common areas has been such a gift to our busy family. She even taught my husband how to cook, sharing recipes and techniques that have become family favorites! 

Anne has strong communication skills and provides regular written daily updates, but also brightens our work days with photos and videos of our daughter. She is consistently respectful of household boundaries, and her reliability over the years has been unwavering, barely taking any sick days at all. Another quality that truly sets Anne apart is her passion for continued growth and professional development; through Cornell University’s ILR Worker Institute, she completed in-person workshop series on Nanny Training & Professional Development as well as Newborn Care Nanny Training in 2024, simply to make sure she continues to practice at the top of her profession. Anne is also current with AHA Heartsaver First Aid/CPR/AED certification and has specialized certificates in Infant Brain Development, Positive Discipline, and Creative Play from My Nanny Circle.

Any family would be fortunate to have someone so experienced, professionally trained, reliable, warm, and naturally gifted with children. We no longer need Anne’s assistance since our daughter is going to school full time. This will be a challenging transition for us but we know she will continue to enrich the lives of the children in her care. She truly loves all the children she cares for and always keeps in touch with her prior families. Yeny is a true gem. She cared for my son from the time he was 3 months old until he was 20 months old. The only reason we have parted ways is that our family relocated to the West Coast. Otherwise, we would have continued working with her for many years to come. She’s a fantastic nanny and a marvelous person. She cared for our son with tenderness, sensitivity, and focus, regularly taking him out to the park, museum, library, and to mingle with other children. I have nothing but deep gratitude for her presence in our lives. Her support was crucial in helping me and my partner navigate the transition to parenthood and then back to work.

Yeny is fully fluent in Spanish and worked with two families for several years prior to working with us, with children ranging from newborns to elementary school age. We’re moving out of nyc and unfortunately have to part ways with our amazing nanny. Looking to help find her next family. She has been truly instrumental in providing care for our daughter and became an integral part of our family. She is very punctual and never cancelled on us. We are sadly parting ways with our wonderful nanny of 6 years, Rosa, as our kids are getting older and looking to do more after-school classes. She will make a new family very happy, as she has ours for so long.

Rosa speaks primarily Spanish (she’s from Peru), with some English too, and is especially wonderful with babies and smaller kids. She is thoughtful and purposeful in her interactions with kids, and always organizes appropriate and exciting activities and play. She is happy to do some light cleaning and laundry, and keeps the main parts of the home in pristine condition, but isn’t looking to be a full-time housekeeper.

Our wonderful nanny Nicole is looking for her next family to love and support. Nicole has been with our family for two years, and we are now moving away and have to say goodbye. Nicole is professional, reliable, loving, experienced, and wise. She has a calm vibe and is easy to be around. She combines firm and effective boundaries with a silly playfulness that has made our children adore her. Friends who observed Nicole with our children at the park frequently commented on how great she is with the kids. She would be a valuable addition to any household. For us, she was a tremendous source of stability, support, fun, and love.

Leticia came into our lives when our daughter was 7 months old (now 4!). She is incredibly warm and engaging, and always willing to do anything for our daughter from reading to her, cooking, setting up play dates, taking her to classes all over the city, the library, and museums. Our amazing nanny Winnie is available for a full time position starting in August (if it’s a great fit with a certain family she is open to starting a bit earlier as well). She has been a wonderful presence in our home and has treated our children with kindness, dedication, and affection for over 4 years.

Winnie joined our family when our son was 1. Our daughter was born a year later and Winnie was an excellent addition during the early infant months. We trusted her entirely with the infant and she helped our son transition into big brotherhood.

Winnie has excelled at engaging our children in developmentally appropriate play, music, and reading.

Winnie has gone above and beyond to form connections with nannies in our neighborhood to create opportunities for daily playdates. She is very active with the kids; she takes them out on playdates, to the playground, to classes (soccer in the park, dance classes, swim classes, etc.) , on nature walks and keeps them engaged with books and play. Our children love Winnie! She is a very experienced nanny who has worked with other families long-term.

Winnie has also helped expose the children (and adults) to tasty Jamaican food!

For two and a half years, Tsering has cared for our almost three-year-old daughter. Come September, our daughter will be in a 3’s program full-time and so we would love to help Tsering find another family to support in her incomparably tender way.

Tsering is a loving, gentle and devoted caregiver. She is unerringly punctual and reliable and has worked as a nanny on the Upper West Side since 2007 so she is more than familiar with the neighborhood. She also cooks delicious Tibetan food (never thought that our toddler’s most requested meal would be “momo”) and always leaves our apartment spotless, which it never is when she arrives! Tsering takes initiative finding fun activities for our daughter – they are usually out and about at museums or in the park, and she has facilitated socializing with a group of children around the same age who have become our daughter’s core group of playmates. Tsering has been an absolutely perfect fit for our family and we will miss her kind, sweet and calm presence in our daily lives.

Our nanny Silvia will become available in mid August and is looking for a full-time job. Silvia has worked as our daughter’s full time nanny for the past year and a half. Silvia is kind-hearted, patient and experienced. She is trustworthy and shows up on time. She arranges playdates for our daughter and transports her to and from her various activities. Silvia sends us texts and photos during the day so that we know our daughter has arrived safely at her activities. Our daughter is now 7 years old and has matured significantly over the time Silvia has been with us. Our daughter is much more independent and knows how to respect and follow rules. Silvia has completed child/infant CPR class and completed nanny training workshops at Cornell University Workers Institute.

Sattie has been working for our family for a while now – initially looking after my second son until he started preschool and then looking after my youngest since he was 6 weeks old. We are now moving overseas for an extended period which is why I would love to find Sattie a new family to join who will love her as we have.

Sattie is kind, loving, generous and adores children. My middle son, who does not naturally take to most people, has loved her from the moment she entered our house. The baby squeels and kicks and flaps excitedly as soon as he hears the doorbell in the morning. Even my oldest, who is neurodivergent, trusts her and feels safe with her.

Importantly, whenever Sattie walks in the door, it’s like a huge weight is lifted from me. She is such an amazing carer for the kids, but she also looks after me, doing little things to help out whenever she can, just to make my life a bit easier (I have 3 busy boys).

Over the time that Sattie has worked for us, she has been reliable, on time, flexible with our chaotic lives and always happy to take direction. She prepared my son for preschool by practicing letters, and numbers, reading to him every day, doing arts and crafts and teaching him some Spanish. She speaks Spanish to the baby as well and reads to him every day, structuring his day around learning and fun. With both kids, she has always taken them out every day to let them get fresh air and exercise and find them little friends to meet with regularly at the playground.

Sattie communicates everything clearly about my kids’ day. She is a miracle-worker at getting them to nap in the day (far better than their parents) and helped out with toilet-training my middle son. I would whole-heartedly recommend Sattie as a nannie and would be happy to answer any other questions.

We feel incredibly fortunate to have found Luz and are certain that any family she works with next will quickly see just how special she truly is.
