Our nanny, Doma, is looking to work for a new family. She has been working with us for 4 years total during which time she took care of my daughter starting 3 months and then my son starting 3 months to 4 years. She is caring, loving, punctual, and responsible. During her time, she took care of my son’s meals, play schedule, school drop-offs and pick-ups for my daughter as well as their laundry, organization and light cleaning of the house. Most importantly, my kids loved playing with her due to her playful nature. She is also flexible and was always accommodative if we were running late from work or if we needed her to stay extra hours.

Another great quality of hers is that she is very patient with kids and naturally has a very calm demeanor even in most chaotic situations which I admired and valued greatly. I knew Doma was special when other mommies in the neighborhood shared with me how good she is. The only reason she stopped working for us is because my son started prek4 so we don’t need her full-time.

Mandy was responsible for a variety of task, including preparing meals, organizing educational activities, helping with homework and ensuring the children’s safety at all times. Mandy is warm, reliable, and truly cares about the well- being and development of children. Some qualities that stood out to us include trustworthiness, patience and kindness, creativity and flexibility. Our children loved spending time with Mandy, and we saw positive growth in their confidence and happiness during her time with us. We are writing to unequivocally recommend our extraordinary nanny, Aruna (Rona) Tulsi. Unfortunately, we need to say goodbye because we will be moving out of state; otherwise we would have continued on with her.

Rona has been with our family for the past two years, since our daughter Ellie was four months old, and she has been nothing short of extraordinary. She brings a rich understanding of milestones and development, creative ideas for activities (including creating art activities for Ellie to engage in), and the knowledge and patience to set good, age-appropriate boundaries and behavioral expectations. Her depth of experience allows her to engage with Ellie in joyful and meaningful ways, meeting her where she is while encouraging her to grow and develop.

Ellie is advanced for her age in terms of milestones, and this is due to Rona. Among other things, she helped us transition Ellie to solids, set expectations for cleaning up toys, got her to put her shoes on by herself, learn words and proper names, hold a pencil and write letters, and is now helping us potty train Ellie. As a result, Ellie surpasses all the milestones for her age in terms of motor skills, communication, and social awareness.

She is also remarkably dependable and organized. We have never once worried about Ellie’s safety or well-being when she’s with Rona. She communicates clearly and regularly, and takes initiative in managing the day. We trust her completely.

Finding someone you can entrust your child to is no small thing. Rona has been one of the greatest gifts to our family. We can’t recommend her highly enough, and we would be more than happy to speak with anyone who is considering bringing her into their home.

Our extraordinary nanny, Kelsang, is looking for her next posting now that our youngest is off to preschool. She has been with us for three years, since our youngest was six months old, and she has been a force of calm and joy in our household. With more than 20 years of experience taking care of babies and children in the NY area (aside from raising her own brilliant daughter, now off at college), Kelsang has seen it all. She has extensive experience with newborns and children of all ages, those with allergies, special dietary needs, eczema — you name it. Our wonderful nanny Martha is looking for a new family. She started with us when my son was four months old, and has been with us for the last eight years. Martha is very intelligent and extremely reliable. She is expert with babies and small children.

We couldn’t list all the reasons we love our nanny Angie. She’s been with us 2+ years caring for our now 5 and 3-year-olds. Angie has become part of our family and things have really been effortless having her around. As full time working parents, coming home to happy & fed toddlers and a tidy home has helped alot.

I am pleased to write this letter in strong support of Dianne Gopee for a nanny position. What began as a chance encounter at a playground grew into our most valued working relationship for our family. Starting out with our two young children, Dianne had to multitask and manage difficult situations ranging from child sickness to varying school schedules, all which she handled with skill and grace.

As our children got older, Dianne’s role evolved and developed into what could be described as a House Manager.
