Find A Nanny
It is with a heavy heart we are transitioning from our nanny, Channel, who has been our son’s only caretaker. We would keep Channel, but she needs full time work, and we are putting our son in preschool.
It was obvious from the first time we met Channel that she was the best person for our son. She got on the floor and interacted with him on his level. She is playful, silly, and encouraging which has allowed our son to thrive and be a confident little toddler. He adores Channel and she has become a part of the family.
She’s helped us through many milestones – crawling, walking, eating solids, changing nap schedules, etc. and has been flexible when we are running late from work or making up hours in a week.
Channel respects our wishes but will speak up for our son when needed. She is proactive in telling us if he falls, seems a bit sick, or any changes she might have noticed.
Channel has more than 10+ years of experience nannying for multiple families and most recently for families in the Brooklyn Heights area. She has a great community here and is attuned to all the activities whether it be at the library or Hopalong Andrew at Cadmen but has nannied in other locations.
Happy to discuss more details. Any family would be lucky to have Channel. Note: she prefers her phone to email.
Fernanda was our nanny for thirteen years, since my youngest son was born. She was an absolutely terrific nanny and all-round help during those years, and she effectively became a family member. She loved our kids as much as we did, and looked after them as if they were her own. She is responsible, resourceful, helpful and loving, and extremely trustworthy. Both of my kids are now grown and she is looking for a full-time job. She works very hard, and is willing to do what she is asked – she always did house cleaning and cooking for the kids for us, as well as taking them wherever they needed to go. She is excellent with newborns as well as toddlers and young kids, and she was also great with them as they grew up too. I highly recommend her. 100% responsible in every way.
We are heartbroken to be saying goodbye to our amazing nanny, Eyon, who has been a true blessing to our family. She’s been with us caring for our two children (ages and 10), and we can’t say enough good things about her. Eyon is loving, patient, and incredibly responsible. She has a wonderful way with children our kids absolutely adore her and she’s been such positive calm, and dependable presence in our home. She’s punctual, trustworthy, and goes above and beyond to make sure the kids are happy, safe, and engaged.
We’re only parting ways because of a change in our work situation – not because of anything she’s done.
Any family would be lucky to have her. She’s available to start as soon as needed, and we’re happy to speak direct with any interested families to share more about our experience working, her. If you’re looking for a kind, capable and caring nanny, Eyon is truly exceptional.

Jewell is an experienced nanny who took care of our children for a total of five years, until they were both in school full-time. Since both parents worked long hours away from home, it was important for us to have someone who was reliable and dedicated to the children. She almost never missed a day and always found things for the children to do in the neighborhood, often discovering things we never knew of. She made meals for the children, did laundry, ordered the food they needed and arranged playdates, easily making friends with other nannies in the neighborhood and through school. Jewell is energetic and loves being outside and taking the children for long walks. She is also a great cook and made meals for the family when we had our second child and had limited time. When my eldest was in school, Jewell was comfortable taking the train or bus with the baby to pick him up and bring them both home from school. She also would occasionally bring them to appointments when we were unavailable. It was a seamless experience. We moved to New Jersey during the pandemic and this was a difficult commute.
Daniella has been our nanny for the past two years and we are regretfully partying ways end of December as our youngest is starting full time school. Daniella is an excellent nanny who is always positive, caring, engaging & patient with our very energetic kids. Our kids adore her – she takes them to all sorts of fun activities around NYC & Brooklyn plays with them in the house on a rainy day, arts & crafts, reading, singing, hide and seek – they have so much fun with her and are always so excited when she walks through the door. Daniella is a confident driver which I have found to be SO helpful, doing pick ups and driving our kids all over Brooklyn & Manhattan. She is a brilliant cook – has made my kids healthy and home cooked meals everyday. We’ve traveled with Daniella internationally and she is always excited to go away with the family and is a great swimmer. Please reach out to us if you have any questions.

It is with both deep gratitude and a touch of sadness that we write this recommendation for our beloved nanny, Julie, who has been an integral part of our family for the past 13 years. From the moment she joined us, she became more than just a nanny—she became a second mother to our children and a trusted member of our household.
When we had our first child, Julie was there to guide us through those early, challenging days with patience, kindness, and unwavering support. Over the years, as our family grew to three children, she has been nothing short of amazing. Her ability to adapt to each child’s unique needs, moods, and stages of development has been truly remarkable. Whether it’s a sudden change in plans, a child’s emotional outburst, or a last-minute schedule change, Julie remains calm, collected, and flexible, always putting the needs of the children first.
Her excellent communication skills are one of her many strengths. She is adept at conveying important information, asking insightful questions, and listening attentively, ensuring that everyone is on the same page at all times. Her thoughtful approach to communication fosters a strong partnership between her and us as parents, as well as with the children, who feel heard and respected.
Safety has always been a top priority, and we have complete trust in Julie’s judgment when it comes to keeping our children safe. She is newborn-certified and has an exceptional awareness of potential hazards. She is proactive in identifying risks and takes preventative measures to avoid accidents, giving us peace of mind knowing our children are in such capable hands.
In addition to her childcare expertise, Julie is also highly skilled in home organization. Whether it’s tidying up the playroom, organizing closets, pantries, or other areas of the house, she has an incredible knack for maintaining an orderly, functional space. Her attention to detail and organizational skills have been invaluable to our family.
One of the qualities we appreciate most about Julie is her reliability. She has never been late and has always been dependable, no matter the circumstances. Her calm demeanor and ability to stay level-headed in stressful situations have helped us navigate many of the challenges that come with raising young children.
While we are incredibly sad to see her leave, as our children are now older and no longer require a full-time nanny, we are confident that her next family will be just as lucky to have her, and we wholeheartedly recommend her to any family looking for a trustworthy, compassionate, and highly skilled caregiver.
Please feel free to reach out to ask me any questions or to discuss further.
Mariame was our twins’ baby nurse and then our nanny for three more years. When we had our twins, we already had two small children, aged two and four. There are no words to describe how overwhelmed we were by the prospect of taking care of two newborns, a toddler and a preschooler. I can honestly say that it is thanks to Marieme that our family not only survived but thrived during this demanding and challenging time. Marieme is loving, highly intelligent and thoughtful. She is constantly thinking and trying to understand a child’s behavior and needs. By the time our twins were four months’ old, they were eating beautifully and sleeping all night. Marieme was able to get them to that point with minimal crying. Marieme has endless patience with both babies and older children. Though she was there for the twins, my other children became attached to her very quickly. She is gentle, kind, and steadfast in her efforts, while also being incredibly reliable and responsible. Marieme is one of the most genuine people I have ever known and she is an exceptional nanny.
Amazing Nanny available:
Our wonderful nanny, Karen, is seeking a full-time position starting ASAP (M-F +/- 40 hours/week). She’s been with us for about two years. She’s an amazing nanny, great with children! She taught our daughter to walk, talk, count, say her ABC’s etc. Her responsibilities were primarily related to our daughter: food preparation, her dishes, bathing, laundry, as well as taking her to local classes: Gymboree, Music, Storytime, Side by Side, Doctor’s appointments, etc. She does it all!
Karen has been an integral part of our family. And even stayed with us to ensure our daughter has adjusted to school. This goes to show her wonderful character. But most importantly, Karen is a warm, patient, forward-thinking nanny who loves our daughter like her own. She has a gift with children and is both fun-loving and firm.
Her ideal employment would be with a baby or young child. Karen is a US citizen with an adult daughter. She is available to start this ASAP, but can be flexible regarding the start date. You can DM with any questions or reach out to her directly at 347-423-5691.

RECOMMENDATION:
Kristie has been an integral part of our family for over four years. During that time, she has proven to be a reliable, warm, and trusted caregiver for our two children.
Kristie joined our family when our daughter was almost one year old. Kristie provided full service care from day one — changing diapers, naps, food prep and feeding, attending various baby classes and scheduling play dates. Kristie was instrumental in helping our daughter develop into the fun, creative, and thoughtful five year old she is today. Kristie’s calm demeanor has also been an important, positive, and stable influence on our son, whom she has cared for together with our daughter everyday.
Both of our children are currently in school until 2:30pm. Kristie prepares snacks for them and organizes their afterschool needs (sports equipment, mostly) before school pickup. From there, Kristie shuttles them to their after school activities before heading home for homework, bath and cool down play before dinner. During summer vacation or days when there is no school, Kristie often takes our children on excursions to Coney Island, the Brooklyn Acquarium, and both the Central Park and Prospect Park Zoos, traveling safely together on the bus or subway each way. Kristie also does the children’s laundry each week.
Our children developed a special bond with Kristie over the years and we are sad to part ways with her. We know, however, that our loss will be another family’s gain.
We were very fortunate to have Kristie as part of our lives and confidently recommend her to any family looking for a dedicated and trustworthy caregiver.
Fun, loving, experience nanny available. Kelly has experience with children of all ages and would be a great fit for the next family. She came into our lives at a time where we needed her the most, and became the missing link to making everything work for us. She never made me feel overbearing and she became a true partner in raising our daughter offering guidance, encouragement and so much care. Her level of understanding, empathy, and supportiveness will always be appreciated. Kelly listened to and respected our priorities and how we wanted things done. We trusted her to use her discretion to keep our child safe. We respected her personal time, but, when we asked, Kelly was able to be flexible with her schedule.
Kelly is more than a nanny, she became part of our family, and any family will be incredibly lucky to have her. She brings not only experience and reliability, but a genuine love that shines through everything she does.
Amazing babysitter available weekends.
Verneek has decades of experience as a nanny and babysitter. She is warm, caring, energetic, and great at multitasking. She can easily manage multiple children at once, from newborns, to energetic toddlers, and on up. She keeps kids engaged and always prioritizes their well-being and development. She will help with light cleaning and cooking as needed. She is available full day or hourly Saturday and Sunday.
Please feel free to reach out for a recommendation!
Our incredible nanny, Nadia is looking for a family who’s looking for someone part-time or in the first half of the day. She is a dream come true and truly an all-star nanny. She is warm, respectful, incredibly punctual and responsible, she is generous and understanding when there are train delays or schedule shifts, she is proactive in scheduling fun classes and events in the neighborhood, and most of all she is trustworthy and truly a part of our family. We would love to find someone in the Park Slope/Windsor Terrace/Kensington/Midwood area. She is available M-F before 3:30pm.
Mariam (“Mimi”) was a caregiver for our two children who were 3 and 8 years old when Mimi first came to work with us. She has been a dedicated, loving and responsible nanny for our family for three years. She was in charge of taking the children to and from school each day, including driving them to school and to afterschool activities. She is an excellent and cautious driver, and there are very few people we trust to drive our children around. She did the children’s laundry and cleaned up after them; she packed their bags for weekends away; and she created fun and engaging activities for them, including playdates, trips to the museum and the playground. Mimi has lots of energy and is always smiling. She has a warm and loving personality while also maintaining boundaries for the children. Mimi was never late to work in the entire time she worked for our family. She is extremely dependable, responsible and flexible – she would travel to be with us in the summer and over holidays to our second home and would stay late on weeknights if we had events or plans after work, making everything very seamless. Over the years, I have received unsolicited feedback from other parents and teachers about Mimi’s attentiveness, care and love for our children. Mimi’s next family will be lucky to work with her. We would be happy to provide any additional information that would be helpful.
Ana was our nanny for several years. She started when my oldest was 7 months old and taught me how to become a better mom. When our 2 baby came she was there throughout it all and I am forever grateful for her. She is attentive and loving to the children in her care. My children love her and will ask to see her when we travel back to nyc. We will always have a special bond with Ana as she was a true asset to our family. Ana has a can do attitude and is truly an amazing nanny/person.. We hope that Ana finds a wonderful family to work with. I would appreciate it if you first spoke with Ana, interviewed her, and informed her of your details regarding schedule, days, and salary. If you both agree, we can create a schedule and discuss what Ana is like as a nanny. I will answer any question about Ana. Ana has others amazing letters of recommendation too.
We are relocating out of state in late December and are sadly leaving our nanny, Kaysher, behind. She has been with us for over 3 years and is incredibly loving, attentive, and reliable. She treats our girls (ages 4 and 2) like family. She has fantastic instincts, and I trust her judgment 100%, but at the same time she is excellent at following very specific instructions when I provide them (like with baby feeding and sleep schedule). Moms who see her at classes and the playground go out of their way to tell me how wonderful she is. I can’t recommend Kaysher enough, and it pains me that she can’t join us when we move! She is looking for full-time work and can be flexible on start date (preferably January-February so she can help support us through our move!) Please reach out to me if interested.
Aurora has been a wonderful nanny to our three-year-old, and we feel truly fortunate to have had her as part of our family here in Manhattan. She is incredibly trustworthy, reliable, and proactive—always anticipating what we need and handling every task with professionalism and care. Aurora genuinely loves children, and it shows in the warm, patient, and engaging way she interacts with them. She is flexible with her time, often staying late when needed, and consistently goes above and beyond in everything she does. With over ten years of experience and an exceptional work ethic, Aurora would be an asset to any family lucky enough to have her.

RECOMMENDATION:
It is my absolute pleasure to recommend Janine Boucher, who has been with our family for the past 4.5 years. Janine joined us when our son was two years old and I was pregnant with our first daughter, and she has lovingly cared for all 3 of our kids (the girls since they were just three months old.) She has truly become part of our family.
Janine is punctual and dependable—in over four years, she has called in sick only once. She respects our routines and parenting preferences, follows our schedule seamlessly, and always communicates clearly and kindly.
Beyond her professionalism, Janine is a joyful, loving, and deeply engaged caregiver. She is playful, imaginative, and fun—she reads, sings, makes up games, and truly plays with the kids. She spends hours outdoors with them every day and never uses her phone except to send me sweet photos or updates. Our children absolutely adore her, and she loves them as if they were her own.
We feel so lucky to have had Janine as part of our lives during these formative years. Any family would be incredibly fortunate to have her caring for their children. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if I can share more about our wonderful experience.
Warmly,
Megan Sufka
