Super experienced, kind, fun, active… truly the best! She was my son’s, who has profound special needs, Nanny. And I got her from a great friend who loved her as well. She really is wonderful.
Hi everyone! We are parting ways with our most beloved nanny, Julie, in mid-October as our daughter will be in school full-time. She has been a rock for our family for 4 years and has loved Olympia like one of her own. She is looking for her new full-time family in Brooklyn. I cannot recommend her enough and I don’t even know how to describe how important she has been to our family. She is extremely reliable, has never been late, she does our laundry and very light cleaning, is great at organizing playdates, takes our daughter out all day to the park and playgrounds and classes and cares for our daughter in the most meaningful ways and has helped raise her into an incredible little girl. My daughter calls her “my best friend”. She has legitimately been a third parent and it’s breaking my heart! I would love to help her find her next loving family. Julie was with her previous family for 10 years and they are also available to chat regarding a recommendation. She is looking for full time only. please reach out to me with any questions or reach out to Julie at 646-500-1591.
Gladys is extremely attentive, professional, reliable and caring. You can clearly see the genuine love she has for our son as they have such a special bond. She sent so many pictures and videos of him throughout the day. She checks up on him over the weekends, in the evenings or when she has time off. She took him to the library, to classes and to the playground and along the way, has built a small group of friends for him. She has taught him some Spanish words and has even taught him some baby sign language. He learned and developed so much under her care it is really amazing to see.
When we were working from home, she did a great job finding ways to keep him busy, allowing us to get our work done. She’ll sing with him, read books with him and make up games to entertain him.
Our kiddo has food allergies and Gladys pays very close attention to make sure he stays safe and is comfortable treating an outbreak if necessary.
Gladys’ preferences would be a family in Manhattan with one child. No pets and a non-smoking house. She is fully covid vaccinated.
It is with great pleasure that I recommend Amanda, who has worked as a full-time nanny for our family since February 2025 and will continue until July 2025. We moved from NYC to Chicago in August to care for a family member and it is with great regret that we are unable to continue our partnership with Amanda.
Amanda cared for our daughter, Sophia, starting when she was just 7 months old. Amanda is an exceptional nanny whose warmth, experience, and intuitive care made an incredible difference during an important time in our family’s life.
One of Amanda’s many strengths is her thoughtful approach to early childhood development, especially when it came to introducing solids. She did a wonderful job gently and enthusiastically guiding Sophia through this important stage—offering a wide variety of homemade fruits, vegetables, and balanced meals. Her creativity and care made mealtimes enjoyable and stress-free, and we were consistently impressed by her knowledge and patience throughout the process.
Amanda also brought joy and social enrichment to Sophia’s days. She knows the area extremely well and always had a plan for fun, age-appropriate outings—from daily swings at the park to trips to the butterfly exhibit and the Central Park Zoo. Amanda also created meaningful play experiences at home, like dyeing Easter eggs and introducing age-appropriate toys that supported Sophia’s development. Thanks to her, Sophia had a rich blend of learning, exploration, and social interaction.
When Sophia experienced her first illness—a fever and cold—we were naturally nervous as first-time parents. Amanda guided us through it with calm and confidence. She knew exactly which products to buy, how to soothe and comfort Sophia, and when to escalate if necessary. Her support and clear judgment during that time were invaluable and deeply reassuring.
Most importantly, Amanda fosters a loving and joyful environment. From day one, she formed a genuine bond with Sophia. Our home was filled with music, laughter, and warmth, and it was always clear how happy and secure Sophia felt in her presence. Watching Sophia light up when Amanda walked through the door was a daily reminder of the love and trust they shared.
We are so grateful for the time Amanda spent with our family. Any family would be lucky to have her as part of their child’s life, and I give her my highest recommendation without reservation.

Our former nanny is looking for a full-time position.
She is always a few minutes early, never late, and flexible. She is energetic, attentive, and fully focused on the child in her care. She keeps the day active and fun, constantly finding engaging things to do.
She takes initiative, handles baby laundry, keeps the apartment tidy after play, and loves to cook. She’s also great at keeping us updated throughout the day, often sending photos and notes about what they’re doing.
She’s well-liked in the nanny community and regularly organized playdates. Our child met some of their best neighborhood friends because of her.
Our wonderful, previous nanny, Allison, is available for employment starting immediately.
Allison served as a steadfast caretaker for our daughter for almost 2 years before we relocated, and remains a close and treasured member of our chosen family.
Some of the things we love and value about Allison:
Kind and Calm: Her natural disposition is to be even keeled and empathetic. The only exception being when situations called for an appropriate level of protectiveness over our daughter.
Reliable and Consistent: She has a strong work ethic and sense of integrity which resulted in her arriving early regularly, staying late when needed, and communicating throughout the day. Additionally, she always took the initiative to take on extra household tasks to keep our home organized and well stocked.
Principled and Trustworthy: She has a strong moral compass that guides her day-to-day decision making and was unwavering in her honest communication with us.
It is also worth noting that Allison has over 25+ years experience in childcare with different families throughout Brooklyn and Manhattan and has built a vast network of resources that she draws from on a day-to-day basis. From classes to playgrounds to play dates, she is well versed in how to tap into the best options across neighborhoods to create fun and enriching experiences for her kids.
For the past 8 years, we have been incredibly fortunately for have Faye as a part of our family from the time our kids were very young (5 and 2 years). She not only cared for our 2 boys but truly helped raise them into kind and thoughtful young people. She is a safe driver and we were never worried when she took the kids to various appointments or sports practices. In addition to caring for our kids, she also helped with housekeeping. She takes a lot of initiative and many a times cleaned and organized parts of our household before I even got a chance to mention it. What sets Fate apart is her kindness and integrity. She treated our children as if they were her own, and in return, our entire family has come to love her dearly. Over the years, she has become so much more than a nanny to us; she has become family. Unfortunately we were not able to work together more due as our family relocated to a different state. Any family who gets the opportunity to welcome her into their lives will be lucky!
Allison was our daughter’s nanny for over two years. She is kind, gentle, warm, and most importantly, trustworthy. She has years of experience taking care of babies and children, however, she never made me (as a new mom) feel judged or inferior, even during the most trying times. She only sought to help and support us as a family. She is extremely honest and trustworthy and I always knew my daughter would be safe and well taken care of in her presence. She is a hard worker and goes above and beyond. She took on many household chores without being asked to do so. She regularly did laundry, cooking, cleaning for my daughter and even sometimes for the household. She traveled with us a number of times domestically and it was always a positive experience. She is kind-hearted and caring and has truly become part of our family.
Our nanny has been with our family for 11years. She’s played a major role in caring for our two children. Dione is a very loving, caring, and a responsible nanny. We honestly don’t know how we would have managed without her. She genuinely loved our kids and took great care of them. We’re very confident that the family who hires her will be very fortunate. Some of her responsibilities were baby care, prepping meals, children’s laundry, organizing toys and clothes. Dione also did pick-up/drop-off from school. She organized after school activities and helped with homework. Dione has played a major role in the development of our kids. We love her very much and appreciate all the love and care she’s given to our children. Our needs are changing, and we hope to help Dione find a wonderful family.
Our wonderful nanny, Namgyal, is available as our boys are heading off to school (our 4-year-old to Pre-K and our 2-year-old to preschool). She has been with us since September 2021, caring for both of our sons from the time they were each 3½ months old, which has created a very special bond.
Namgyal brings a peaceful, grounded presence into the home — endlessly patient, warm, and loving, with a gentle but confident way of guiding children. She has been such a steady, nurturing influence through every stage.
She loves taking our kids outdoors for fresh air and adventures, and she’s built a wonderful network of other nannies, giving the children regular playdates and lasting friendships. She also helps with preparing bottles and lunches, as well as doing the children’s laundry, and keeping things tidy in the kids spaces. She is reliable, trustworthy, and truly becomes part of the family.
Namgyal is ideally looking for a family in the Fort Greene Brooklyn area but is open to other neighborhoods or boroughs. She can start immediately and would be perfect for your family especially if you have a newborn or infant!
Heather is a super experienced, kind, fun, active human. She was our special needs son’s nanny for MANY years. She is truly the best!
We’re posting to share that our incredible nanny, Mellissa Edghill, will be available starting January 2026 (or sooner if needed). She’s been with our family for almost 7 years, caring for our two boys from infancy through early childhood, and we feel so lucky to have had her in our lives.
Mellissa brings more than 25 years of childcare experience and is especially gifted in supporting children’s development. She’s not only warm, calm, and reliable—she’s also highly proactive when it comes to fostering growth and learning. She reads with our boys daily, plans educational activities, recommends developmental tools, and engages them in ways that help them thrive socially, emotionally, and cognitively.
She’s guided them through every stage—from sleep and potty training to early literacy, physical skills, and socialization—with extraordinary patience and love. Mellissa is incredibly organized, communicates clearly, and has always been a step ahead of our family’s needs. She is a true partner in parenting and has become a beloved member of our family.

I highly recommend Nayeli as a caregiver—she has been the most reliable, flexible, and helpful nanny we’ve had. We hired her to cover afternoon hours and occasionally full days when my daughter was off school. Despite the role not being full-time, Nayeli has always been punctual, dependable, and incredibly adaptable in meeting our needs.
A recent college graduate, Nayeli is mature beyond her years. She brings an exceptional level of professionalism, energy, and quick thinking to everything she does. Her common sense is remarkable, and I always felt confident that my daughter was safe and well cared for in her presence.
As a native Spanish speaker with years of experience, Nayeli brings additional value to her role. I can’t recommend her enough—she will truly be a rock for your family.
Our wonderful nanny Yvonne is available for a new family. Yvonne has been with us for over a year and quickly found all the best things to do with our daughter in our neighborhood – they are at new parks, playgrounds, and classes every day and she has a great group of nanny friends to arrange playdates with. She takes my daughter to birthday parties, the library, and playdates with friends who have playrooms in their buildings. I feel completely safe knowing my daughter’s in her care. My 2 year old also is very verbal (and counts to 10, alphabet, shapes and colors, etc.) which I think Yvonne has helped with so much. She’s flexible on schedule and stays late when we need. She’s helpful around the house and does my daughter’s laundry, puts away clothes and toys, and empties and loads the dishwasher every day. She is also a registered baby nanny with infant experience and is CPR trained.
Please reach out to me if you’d like to know more!
Verona was with us for 6 years until my oldest turned 6 and we moved out of the city. She was with us through the birth of our second child, stayed with us (even lived with us!) during Covid.
She is a lifetime nanny with a ton of experience. She’s excellent with all ages, but particularly with newborns, infants and toddlers. She was great at helping me learn when I was a first time mom – about baths, sleep schedules, feeding, etc. she recommended classes all over the UWS and Harlem that she took the kids to. She knows the area very well, knows a lot of other Nannie’s and also made friends with other Nannie’s and arranged park meet ups, etc. she was flexible when my boys started preschool, doing drop offs and pick ups and helping with food prep and laundry in her down time.
Verona is incredibly warm with the kids and active in playing with them and watching them on the playgrounds.
She truly is wonderful! While she’s been with another family for the last 3 years, we have kept in touch and she visits the kids and occasionally babysits for my now 9 and 5 years until old who still love playing with her. She’d be a great addition to a new/young family!
Our nanny was superb.
She was the best we ever hope and ask for. My husband and I were alone in New York we had no family and we were please to have Tonni as part of our family….Tonni help us raise our kids and thanks to her our kids are well behaved, loving very manner. As hard working parents because of our job, we weren’t around our kids as much as we wanted to be. That’s where Tonni stepped in and cared for our children as her own and for that we are vey thankful. Tonni does just about everything for our children, potty training, teach them basic hygiene, teach them alphabet etc…I enjoy watching them doing stuff together, they adore her.. We moving back home we would love to take her with us…we definitely hope she could find time to visit us….We are looking for a wonderful family to pick up from where we left off.
Our loss is your gain, she is very very extremely experience with what ever she does…She’s loving, caring, very respectful and reliable. We get along well. We talk over everything together.
Feel free to reach out to me if you see it fit…She’s available asap.
Blanca is amazing she effortlessly juggles caring for my 3 children while keeping clothing clean and folded, food on the table and the kids entertained. She has great instincts and a wonderful sense of humor. The kids enjoy the fun craft projects she comes up with and she arranges play dates and group meet ups with other nanny’s.
Jasmin is a one-of-a-kind amazing caregiver and truly the best partner two working parents could dream of.
She comes early every day to help with the morning chaos and when I come home, it’s “wind down” time, the kids are in their pajamas — and the house spotless. Between taking care of my three kids (twin girls and an older brother) to juggling various schedules to setting up a new bed, to potty training, there is really nothing Jasmin cannot do. She is always outside with the kids, whether it’s taking them to the library story hour or running around in the sprinklers at the playground. My kids run into her arms when she comes home and the love she has for them is amazing. She’s an extremely hard worker. Not only does she make all meals and snacks for three kids, do their laundry, bathe them all, trim their nails, etc. But she also finds time to organize their clothes, sort everything they’ve outgrown, etc. And when my youngest kids nap, she’s doing workbooks with my 4 year old.
Jasmin has her diploma in early childhood education and is CPR, First Aid certified and COVID vaccinated.
Jasmin is a gem and we love her so much!
