Anita has worked with us for 2 years since my son was an infant. She has been a warm and loving nanny taking care of my son with such care, dedication and loyalty. She showers him in love, teaches him and the bond they have is irreplaceable. We feel incredibly fortunate to have had Anita and any family would be lucky to work with her. The only reason we are parting ways with Anita is because we are moving. She is willing to come early, stay late. She prepares his meals and helps tidy the kitchen and apartment. Lisa is smart, savvy, CLEAN, and she has a wonderful way with children of all ages. She also gets along with the whole family from grand parents to kids. She worked for us for 13 years, starting when my first born was an infant, and my children love her like she is their family.

During the children’s infancy, she maintained an organized feeding and nap schedule. During our vetting process, we paid her to come in and work a “try out” day. Within 4 hours on the job, she organized my son’s room, found clothes I didn’t know he had and had him a feeding and nap schedule. I told my husband to cancel the other finalist try out days. She was that good! Some other things I so appreciated about her in the early years were that she regularly read to my children. I think she holds the record of reading my son’s favorite book to him over and over at more than 22 times (that was my “max” for Max the Minnow). Lisa took them for walks in the stroller, and accompanied them to music and tumbling classes. As they progressed in age, she ensured their safe transit to and from school, prepared meals and snacks, and assisted with homework.
She demonstrates exceptional diligence and planning skills, consistently ensuring punctuality for the children’s appointments. Her efficiency is notable—she manages cleaning, dressing, and bathing tasks swiftly and thoroughly.
Her culinary abilities are outstanding; the children highly appreciate her traditional dishes. I think her food helped the develop the diverse food palate they have today. She has proven to be an invaluable sous chef and follows recipes accurately, with the ability to prepare a wide range of meals.
Her guidance helped me develop organizational skills and improved my approach to parenting. I regard her as a childcare colleague who continuously demonstrated best practices rather than simply completing assigned tasks. I confidently recommend her to any family, as she is capable of managing multiple children, including infants. New mothers in particular will benefit from her extensive experience. On her first day, she reorganized my son’s room for greater practicality, identified clothing that had gone unnoticed, and implemented a more effective feeding schedule. With her support, I felt fully assured returning to work, knowing my children were in capable hands.
We are moving from the NY area and cannot bring her with us, but I know I will miss her everyday even though my oldest is now starting high school.

Antoinette was our baby nurse / newborn care specialist for 14 weeks after our son (third child) was born. She was excellent and made my postpartum period so much easier. She cares for all things baby related – circumcision care, supported my breast feeding, bottle and breast pump washing, got our baby sleep trained very quickly (sleeping through the night by about 10 weeks), maintained baby’s hygiene, fixing his cradle cap, etc. Did his laundry, kept his things organized, alerting us when we needed to order something, pulled out age appropriate toys, did tummy time, helped him learn to roll over, etc.
In addition she was great with my 2 year old and 4 year old, letting them feel involved in the process of caring for the baby. She truly felt like family by the end of the 14 weeks. She came referred to us by another family friend, she has about 6+ years of experience in this role and many great references. I am happy to be a reference or speak to anyone considering hiring her.

Evis is a proactive person who is very thoughful with the children. She loves to cook and cooks very well. She worked in our household for a year and 10 months since my second baby was born. She is joyful and the children enjoy her company.
I would like to recommend our former full time nanny, current babysitter and friend of the family Charmaine Jules. She was an invaluable part of our family from my twin son’s early months until they were in 4th grade. She was full time with us until we switched to a part time / after school person. She worked 8am – 6pm and could come in early or stay late if needed for us. She sometimes worked the weekend as well. She was with us from infant years (twins!) through elementary school. My boys are now 13 and she still comes for a night if we are out late or need to be away for a weekend. We trust her implicitly and the boys love to see her.
She knows NYC well and handled all kid classes, doctors appts, playground visits, play dates, library etc. She was a very interactive caregiver. She cooked for them daily, from puréed infant food to full meals as they grew. She handled all of their laundry and even ironed their school uniforms!
She is deferential, but spoke up when she thought something was wrong or needed to be changed. She is a Mom of one herself to a 24 year old, so I appreciated her feedback and we agreed on many things. She handled naps, sleep training, potty training….and little kid homework. She is caring, trustworthy and still a part of our lives. She really cares for your own children like they are her own. She is warm and funny, but sets down rules for the kids. She is not a pushover. I am happy to recommend Ruth highly for a nanny position with any family looking for a true partner and guiding light in raising their children. Ruth joined our family when my son was 8 months old, in March 2016 and once my daughter was born in 2017, Ruth cared for both my children. As first-time parents, we looked up to Ruth for advice and wisdom and she really delivered. Day to day she was a warm and knowledgeable caretaker to our children, a great teacher and an astute observer. Indeed, a trusted partner to us!

Ruth works well with parents and can take the lead when necessary. She is skilled in arts and crafts, coloring, reading, singing and other age-appropriate activities. She likes to plan playdates at playgrounds, libraries, museums and other areas of interest to promote child-friendly development. She is proactive and can suggest activities but is also happy to follow the parents’ lead.
For the past few years, she has cared for one of our good friends’ daughters until she went to school and then for a baby starting when he was 3 months old. Ruth is now looking for her next family. She still stays with my kids occasionally and we have been having play dates together. She’s absolutely great and I love to see in person how invested she is in the kids she cares for. Ruth has a large network of nanny friends and even parents, that she organizes play dates with, so our kids have made stable friendships. Many parents have commented to me about how great Ruth is. It has indeed been an amazing comfort to have Ruth as part of the family, especially as a first time mom – her experience and advice were invaluable and I felt at ease knowing that she was in charge of my children and that I could fully trust her.
