Our wonderful, loving, conscientious, reliable, and tireless former nanny is seeking a new position. Letesia provided excellent care to our two sons, now age 22 and 26. She was officially employed as a household employee, providing child care and light housekeeping for our family for more than 18 years.
Once our kids were grown and flown, we were unable to justify the need for full-time household help. We hope another family can be cared for as we were. Letesia is reliable, hard-working, capable, and beyond trustworthy. When the boys were small, she read aloud to them, sang to them, held them, and prepared very healthy snacks. She made sure they got plenty of active time outdoors and engaged in educational games with them at home. She kept them clean, healthy, and safe. She was incredibly reliable, taking them to afterschool classes, appointments, and playdates. While the boys were in school, Letesia kept our house in impeccable shape, clean, and well-organized.
We recommend Letesia with the highest, highest praise.
Letesia can be contacted directly at: 646-220-7026. I can be reached via cell at 917-576-0251 or via email at samgarbers@hotmail.com.
Hi there! I’d love to recommend our longtime babysitter / nanny Cheryl Noel to anyone looking for full-time help. Cheryl has been a wonderful and indispensable fixture in our family’s life throughout our time in NYC, dating from the early months of our first child Guinny’s life all the way through the pre-K years of our 2nd child, Milly.
That’s ten years of being with our family and being an indispensable part of raising our kids. Now though, we’ve moved on from NYC and Cheryl is available to help her next family. We miss her like crazy!
Cheryl is a lovely, caring presence who is a natural with babies, infants, toddlers, pre-K into grade school and beyond. Our kids loved spending time with Cheryl, and found her to be a consistently engaging, warm, fun and dependable presence. Cheryl went the extra mile to help us, taking the kids from school to their various activities, and doing everything including playing with them, bathing them, cooking for them, and putting them to bed. She also didn’t hesitate to come on weekends if we needed her to babysit. She always communicated effectively with us and truly became ‘one of the family’. You name it, she did it … and now that we’re not there, we really, truly miss her help, her camaraderie, and her expertise.
I guarantee you will find Cheryl to be a fantastic nanny for your kids. Please feel free to get in touch with me for any further questions you may have. Thanks so much for reading!
Liza is a professional nanny who has tons of experience with newborns and toddlers. She cared for my 2.5‑year‑old and consistently demonstrated punctuality (often arriving early), reliability, and a warm, loving manner. She built a very strong, trusting relationship with my daughter and kept her engaged and active throughout the day with regular outings to museums, the library, playgrounds, and playdates. She also picked up my daughter from preschool, always following the schedule and never being late.
In addition to great childcare, Liza was very helpful around the house—maintaining a clean apartment, doing the laundry, vacuuming, and tidying my daughter’s room as well as the kitchen before leaving. She prepared lunch, cooked dinner, and bathed my daughter every day before leaving for the night.
Liza is looking for a full-time position in Manhattan or Brooklyn.
Yuby cared for our son from the time he was 6 months old until he turned 2, and she became an invaluable part of our family. She cared for him with so much love, patience, and attentiveness, and we always knew he was in wonderful hands.
Every day, she took him outside for hours to explore, play, and socialize in different environments. She found creative ways to engage him with neighborhood classes and was incredibly resourceful, discovering free programs at local recreation centers, libraries, and community events. Thanks to her, our son made many little friends and developed a strong sense of curiosity and confidence.
At home, she prepared healthy, homemade meals — chicken, beef, salmon, vegetables, pasta sauces, and yogurt parfaits — always with no added sugar. She handled his laundry, changed his sheets several times a week, gave him a bath every evening, kept his play area tidy, and cleaned the kitchen and dishwasher daily. She was attentive during diaper changes, proactive about his doctor visits, and never distracted by her phone.
Beyond her daily responsibilities, Yuby cared deeply about his emotional and intellectual development. She celebrated milestones with genuine joy and even organized his 1st and 2nd birthday parties with his neighborhood friends, which meant so much to us.
Our son adored he, as soon as he was able, he gave her a hug every day when she left. We will miss her greatly, and any family would be lucky to have her.
Avis is a dedicated and experienced nanny who is looking for a long-term position with a loving family. She worked with us for five years, but we recently relocated to a different state, and now she is seeking a new opportunity. Avis is attentive, nurturing, and caring towards children, ensuring that they feel safe and well-cared for. She has been an excellent addition to our family, and we are confident that she will be a great fit for yours as well.
Aurelie has been our 19 month old toddler twins’ part time nanny since they were newborns. Without hesitation I highly recommend Aurelie as a nanny to any family. From the very first meeting, she made our family feel completely comfortable and at ease. A keen observer, Aurelie quickly picked up on our twins’ routines and how we managed our home environment. From how we organized the toys to understanding the kids needs, Aurelie is very proactive and often does things before we even think to ask her.
Taking care twins can be a handful, and never once in the past couple years have we seen her overwhelmed by our kids. She even takes them out to the park and playgrounds by herself, which is no small task. One of many things that we appreciate about Aurelie is her dedication to being fully present. She doesn’t use her phone in front of the kids and instead fills their days with songs, reading, and creative play. She quickly became a trusted friend to the children, making each day joyful and enriching. The kids are often reluctant to see her go at the end of the day.
Additionally, Aurelie speaks French, which has been a wonderful bonus for our children’s language exposure. Her patience, energy, and genuine affection makes her an incomparable nanny. Any family would be fortunate to welcome Aurelie into their home. I wholeheartedly recommend her without reservation.
Aurelie is currently looking for a part-time position with a family that needs mornings to early afternoons, Monday through Friday. She is available anytime from 8:00am-1:30pm.
We’re happy to speak with you if you’d like any more information.
Sincerely,
Ijin and Jae

I’m here to spotlight our nanny, Kerry, who will be available Monday -Thursday in mid-February as we will be beginning daycare then.
Kerry started with us when my daughter was 12 weeks old and has been a constant and consistent caretaker ever since. Time flew by and my daughter is now 14 months and thriving.
I knew Kerry was the right fit for us when she effortlessly floated around the room holding my baby, talking and singing to her, pointing out the trees outside and engaging her with so much joyful energy. That has never stopped.
My daughter loves Kerry and is loved by Kerry.
Every morning my daughter happily reaches for Kerry and together they wave and blow me kisses goodbye and I know she’s in wonderful hands. Kerry has a wonderful skill set with children and she has helped us work toward milestones and jumps on board with whatever new thing we want to enact or try.
Her communication is stellar. My husband and I have received multiple pictures/videos every day since she started. She shares anything of note and keeps us in the loop of their happenings. She is quick to respond and it helps ease my first time mom brain that she tells us everything.
Kerry has helped us with baby laundry, cooking (excellent cook!), basic dog care, and basic house tidying. She’s made friends with other nannies in our neighborhood and meets up with them weekly for play dates. We had a trial run at daycare and they couldn’t believe she had never been because she was so social and comfortable. We are so grateful our daughter has been so social and has a nice little ring of friends that Kerry worked hard to find and foster.
After almost 4 years with us, our amazing longtime nanny is seeking a new full-time position due to our family’s changing needs. Rachael is a rare find! She has over 25 years of experience and is truly a career nanny. Every one of her historical family engagements has been long- term and comes with glowing reviews. She is an exceptional, caring professional and we feel so blessed to have been able to have her in our lives these last few years. The next family to work with her is so lucky!
Key qualities:
• Extremely timely and dependable – always punctual and reliable
• Clean and organized – maintains a spotless, safe environment
• Warm, nurturing, and genuinely caring – builds strong bonds with babies and parents
• Proven experience with infants and young children
• Active- she makes sure to set up playdates and activities throughout the week- and plenty of playground and library time!
Rachael would prefer a position in Manhattan or Brooklyn, ideally with one baby to start.
If you’re looking for someone trustworthy who will treat your child like her own, please reach out.
Mane has been an amazing help to our family over the last year, and we regret that our shifting schedule means that we no longer need her full-time assistance. Mane has helped care for our two children (ages 2 and 4), and she has been a gentle, caring presence in our home. She is originally from France, where she trained in top kitchens as a pastry chef, and she brings that same level of professionalism to her work as a nanny. To our delight, she taught our children both rudimentary French and the basics of baking, both with remarkable success. She was diligent about all our children’s needs: cooking and serving delicious meals (including grocery shopping), playing with them in the park, reading to them, doing evening bathtime, tidying up, doing their laundry, and often putting them to bed. She is active, friendly, flexible, and technology savvy. She never relied on screentime to keep our children occupied, even on the busiest of days. Mane is deeply empathetic and caring — she went out of her way to give extra attention to our dog, who absolutely loves her, and who sometimes feels a bit forgotten. We want to help her find a wonderful full-time position, as well as a friendly family who will appreciate her as much as we do and have. We are happy to speak to any family on her behalf.
A highly experienced, nurturing nanny is available and seeking a long-term family. She is attentive, patient, and genuinely loves working with children. She is dependable, safety-focused, and brings warmth and positivity into the home.
She has been an invaluable support to our family, and we would enthusiastically recommend her to any family looking for excellent childcare.
Our beloved nanny, Djeneba, is available and looking for her new family!
We are moving to the suburbs and are heartbroken to be leaving Djeneba behind. She has been with us since our son was 6 months old (he’s now 2.5 years old) and seamlessly welcomed our second baby into the fold. I truly wish we could bring her with us – she has become family and has been such an incredible presence in our children’s lives.
Djeneba is looking for full-time (or close to full-time) work starting February 2026 (possibly earlier if the right opportunity comes along). She’s based in Manhattan/Brooklyn – 14 years of nanny experience, mostly with infants and toddlers – native French speaker (our son has picked up so much French!) – warm, patient, and truly loves children – proactive and reliable – experienced caring for multiple children.
She’s the kind of nanny who anticipates needs before you even ask, keeps the kids engaged and happy, and becomes part of your family. We would love for her to find another wonderful family who will appreciate her as much as we do.
I’m so happy to recommend Carlin, who was an incredible part of our family for 8 years. She started with us when my son was just 1 year old and also helped care for my older daughter, who was 6 at the time. Through every stage—toddler, preschool, and elementary—Carlin was dependable, loving, and deeply committed to our kids.
Carlin was always on time, incredibly reliable, and stayed with us all the way through the pandemic, which speaks volumes about her dedication and character. She is warm, social, and truly builds community—she introduced us to many wonderful nanny and child friends who are still part of our lives today.
She knows the village and downtown area of Manhattan extremely well and is always finding fun, age-appropriate outings, classes, playgrounds, and activities. Whether it’s toddler adventures, preschool programs, or elementary-age enrichment, Carlin is proactive, engaged, and genuinely loves what she does. Our kids are now in middle school and high school, but my husband and I want to help make sure she finds another great family that she can care for and love over many years
I know she’s ideally looking for a family with a newborn or toddler and a full-time position in the city – either Manhattan or Brooklyn. She is someone any family could trust completely with their children. Happy to share more or make an introduction—please feel free to reach out!
AMAZING CAREGIVER AVAILABLE! Suzette was with our family for almost 6 years, since my oldest was a newborn, and was such an important part of our two sons’ growth and development, taking the most loving care of them and being an active advocate and educator for them as well, bringing educational books and toys in for them and working with them on everything from colors and language to reading and math. In a household with two working parents with demanding schedules, she always makes herself available and basically has made it possible for us to have our careers and our sanity and quality time with our children when we’re home. She is great with kids from newborn on up, and really speaks their language in a way many grown-ups can’t! She finds her way around the neighborhood and various classes, people and places, hosts various playdates, takes the kids on frequent park visits, to the library, etc. She has tremendous strength of character and physical strength and encourages them to be active outside, walking, scooting, etc as well.
She also takes pride in keeping everything spotless, and it’s been a pleasure to come home to such a clean and happy home each night. We frequently heard from other parents in the neighborhood about how great she was with our boys, who it’s clear she cares for greatly. We have moved out of the city, but my husband and I want to help make sure she finds another great family that she can care for and love over many years. I know she’s ideally looking for a family with a newborn (or two!) and a full-time position in the city. She is someone any family could trust completely with their children.
Carol was a wonderful nanny for our son. She came highly recommended from several friends of my close family friend and she didn’t disappoint. The first time I saw her hold my little guy (he was two months old at the time) I saw how she lit up and knew she’d be perfect for us. Carol was with us through the height of the Covid pandemic so we were all home together in a 1200 square foot apartment, with my husband and me working from home. I was very aware of how she interacted with the baby (who loved her) and she easily fit into/worked around our rhythms. I also very much valued her input (which she only gave when I asked) as a first-time mom, given how many babies she had watched in her day. I also had the opportunity to get to know her adult daughter, who is also a delight. Carol stayed with us until we moved to FL and we were so sorry to lose her! Please feel free to reach out to me with any questions or additional references.
I am thrilled to highly recommend Barbara as a nanny and childcare provider. Barbara worked with my family during the height of COVID, caring for my four children of very different ages, and she was nothing short of amazing.
At the time, I had a one-month-old infant, a Pre-K child, a 3rd grader, and an 8th grader. Barbara provided full-time care for my newborn, handling feedings, diapering, naps, soothing, and daily routines with patience and confidence. With my school-aged children, she assisted with remote learning and homeschooling, helping my Pre-K child and 3rd grader stay engaged, focused, and on schedule, while appropriately supervising and supporting my 8th grader’s independence and responsibilities.
Thanks in large part to Barbara’s consistency, encouragement, and hands-on support during homeschooling, both my kindergartener and 3rd grader earned A Honor Roll during that period. She has a wonderful ability to balance structure with warmth, helping children stay motivated while still enjoying the learning process.
Barbara is incredibly engaging and attentive. She knows how to meet children where they are developmentally—whether that means reading books, doing age-appropriate learning activities, helping with homework, encouraging creative play, or simply listening and providing emotional support. She also helped prepare simple, healthy meals and snacks, maintained routines, and ensured a safe, nurturing environment for all of my children.
She worked with our family for one full year, and the only reason our time together ended was because we relocated to San Antonio, TX, while Barbara returned to NYC. Most recently, Barbara returned in August 2025 to help with after-school care, and she continues to demonstrate the same level of reliability, care, and dedication.
Barbara is the kind of nanny every parent hopes to find—capable, organized, calm under pressure, and genuinely loving with children. She comes highly recommended, and I would confidently recommend her to any family seeking exceptional childcare.

Beti, came into our lives when my son was 18 months old. She was with us when our daughter was born two years later. She worked with until our children were 13 and 11 years old. As a full time mother, working as a senior manager where at time we travel, Beti, took great care of the kids. Loving and nuturing them. She never watched TV with instead she played games, and most fondly Candy Land (We still have have the game). She also took them on adventures to the park, zoos and museums. Our kids are in their late 20s and love her dearly and still keep in touch with them. Since for working from us she has worked with three family – long term.
We highly recommend her.
Where to start? Janet is extremely devoted caring and very devoted. Janet has been part of our family for the last 18 and half years. She joined when I had a newborn bay boy a 5 year old boy and a 7 year old boy, they weren’t the easiest. Then came 2 girls the baby is now 9. Janet always showed up, she never just didn’t come to work even in extreme weather. She always discussed and scheduling she needed to make sure it works for me. I moved the family to New Jersey from Brooklyn 7 years ago and Janet then came for 3 days as a live in and I had someone else for the other days. At this point my kids outgrew a live in and only I can have her the regular day hours but commuting daily to new jersey is just not an option. I only have the best and nicest things to say about her. We know we were very lucky to have such an amazing nanny/housekeeper for so many years. She is a great cook and she is very well trained in a kosher kitchen. Hope she finds an amazing family.
From the moment we met Norissa, I’ve been so at peace knowing our son is in great hands. She first started caring for him when he was 6 months old, and she’s been absolutely amazing with him over the last 8 months that she’s been with us. Unfortunately, we are moving across the country, but I so wish we could take her with us!
From our first interaction with Norissa, it was clear that she deeply cares for and loves children. Even people who have only briefly met her have commented to me that it’s clear Norissa really adores our baby. Her strong knowledge in child development, coupled with her loving and very playful care, has been a strong combination that has really encouraged my son to flourish through all milestones and growth. She’s also been extremely communicative and collaborative with us, always open to hearing feedback and adjusting routines based on our parenting styles.
Over the past several months, I’ve had the privilege of hearing and seeing how she interacts and shows up with my son everyday, and she’s always playing, singing, talking, reading, laughing with him. There’s never a moment where I feel like she’s disengaged, and I’ve also really appreciated how present she is with him (without her phone!). She makes an effort every day to take him out on walks to the park or playground, has made him a bunch of baby friends to have playdates with, and is diligent about taking him to all of his classes and activities. She spends time teaching him words and signs, and she’s even tackled some difficult issues we faced, like feeding aversion struggles and sleep schedule routines.
Norissa truly goes above and beyond. She’s extremely dependable and reliable and has even accommodated our changing schedules and requests for additional hours during the week or on weekends. My husband and I have truly come to depend on her – so much so that we don’t let anyone else babysit our son! My husband also goes out of town for work somewhat regularly, and I truly would not be able to handle things without her.
In addition to her nanny experience, she has a background in early childhood education and has experience working in daycares. She also has extensive experience with children with special needs or unique situations (autism, ADHD, j-tube feeding, etc.) and has taken care of kids from newborn to pre-teens.
I truly could not recommend Norissa enough, and I know that a new family will be very lucky to work with her.
We are saying goodbye to our nanny, Asha, next month as our son is in the process of transitioning to daycare. Asha has been with us for just over one year (since he was 4-months old) but has helped other families ranging from a period of 3 years to 15, is still in contact and is very much loved by the children and families she’s helped. She is experienced with babies and older kids, responsible, loving and always on time.
As a first-time mom, I was nervous to entrust my newborn to anyone but after speaking with Asha over the phone and meeting in person, she very quickly eased any concerns I had. She’s warm, easy to talk to, and genuinely cares for your child. Below are some of the things that make her a great addition to any family:
– Patient & Nurturing – She treats children with patience, love, and genuine care.
As a baby our son was not a good independent napper, maybe 20 minutes at a time. Asha was patient and followed his cues, supported his wake windows and encouraged positive associations with the crib to help him feel more comfortable
– Social Support – She takes our son to play spaces and music classes, as well as has playdates with a few nannies/children she’s become close with
– Values & Manners – As our son began working on language skills, she was intentional about teaching kindness and good manners
– Organized & Dependable – Always punctual and reliable. She sends pictures and updates throughout the day, and when I walk in after work, I can see that he’s happy
We’re happy to answer any questions or share more on our experience together!

Very happy to recommend our most recent nanny, Keisha Harry. We have had a few nannies over the years and she has been THE BEST by far. She is extremely reliable and flexible with scheduling. She will take direction and ask before doing something out of the box.
Over the last year, she has taken our 2 kids to and from school- via subway and bus-, to and from the bus to summer camp, stayed home with them when they were sick, taken them on numerous playdates, and accompanied them to numerous appointments and extracurricular activities.
Our kids are 4 and 8 and we no longer need 40 hrs of childcare. I can’t emphasize enough that Keisha is incredibly reliable and very accommodating to crazy work schedules, etc. I know she will be a great fit to another busy fam, or a new start with a baby/toddler. Happy to answer any questions. She is open to new opportunities and travels to Manhattan from Brooklyn.
