I cannot recommend Sharon highly enough. She was our nanny for the past three years and played an incredible role in raising our daughter during some of her most formative years.
Sharon is dependable, punctual, patient, and genuinely caring. She consistently created a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment, always putting our daughter’s well-being and development first. She is calm under pressure, incredibly attentive, and has a natural ability to connect with children while encouraging their growth, independence, and curiosity.
Beyond being an exceptional caregiver, Sharon became a trusted part of our family. Her professionalism, reliability, and positive attitude gave us complete peace of mind every day. Any family would be incredibly fortunate to have her caring for their children, and I recommend her without hesitation.
Our amazing, reliable, calming nanny of 4 years is available. Wilma has been a wonderful addition to our family and would be an absolute asset to anyone looking for loving support in their household. She has been with her daughter since she was a couple of weeks old. Now she cares for her two kids ages 8 and 4. She has been the most reliable, calming presence for her family and would love to help her find her next family to support. She leaves everything clean and the kids have adored how patient and loving she is. She would truly be a gem for anyone looking!
It is my absolute pleasure to recommend Ana, who worked as a nanny in our home for three years.
Ana was far more than a caregiver—she became a deeply trusted, joyful, and steady presence in our family’s daily life.
From the very beginning, Ana brought a rare combination of warmth, intuition, and professionalism. She has a natural
gift with children-meeting them with patience, genuine affection, and a calm confidence
that immediately puts them at ease and we always felt complete peace of mind.
Ana is exceptionally reliable, thoughtful, and proactive. She consistently anticipated our needs,
maintained structure and routines with ease, and communicated clearly about schedules, milestones, her knowledge about everything a baby and toddler needs about motor skills, speech, sensory stimulation my baby always was so happy + a great night sleeper. I never was worry about anything. Any family will be lucky to have her.
I will be glad to talk to you more about her, but please reach her first after could you please text to me then set time to talk;
Ana’s phone # 9176082677

I am recommending our prior Nanny who we’ve love to help find a family to grow with. Brenda was our nanny for nearly two years, beginning when our daughter was 6 months old. She was reliable, flexible, and a great support to our family during a busy time while my husband and I were both in residency. She took our daughter to classes, planned activities, and built friendships with other nannies and children in the neighborhood—many of whom remain friends today. She was attentive to our daughter’s routines and helped her navigate the many transitions from infancy to toddlerhood. Brenda is a passionate and caring person who becomes deeply invested in the families she works with. She is looking for a family with one child, ideally an infant, that she can grow with over the years, and I know she would bring dedication and support to the right family.
Our incredible overnight newborn caregiver is available for a position during September and October.
Lexie cared for our daughter from the newborn stage, providing compassionate, dependable overnight care. She managed feedings, diaper changes, soothing, and helped establish healthy sleep routines, allowing us to get the rest we needed during those early weeks. She was consistently reliable, punctual, and dependable, and her calm, confident presence made a tremendous difference for our family. We always knew we could count on her, giving us complete peace of mind each night.
She is CPR certified and has completed professional newborn/night nurse training. She is knowledgeable, attentive, trustworthy, and truly passionate about caring for newborns. We always felt completely at ease knowing our daughter was in her care.
I recommend Lexie without hesitation to any family looking for an experienced overnight newborn caregiver. If you’re interested or would like to hear more about our experience, please feel free to reach out. I would be happy to provide a personal reference.
I am pleased to provide recommendation for Erika, who has worked as our nanny.
Erika joined our family when our daughter was 2.5 years old and our son was just 4 months old. Caring for children at such different developmental stages requires patience, flexibility, and skill, and Erika navigated those ages seamlessly. Throughout her time with us, she proved herself to be attentive, dependable, and deeply committed to our children’s well-being. Most importantly, I trusted Erika completely with our children. As a parent, there is no higher endorsement than knowing your children are safe, loved, and well cared for in someone’s hands. Erika consistently demonstrated sound judgment, responsibility, and genuine care for both of our kids.
Reason for leaving, my kids are in the school, Erika needs full time.
Please reach out to Erika first at (631) 455-2242 to get to know her. If you match please feel free to contact me, I’d be happy to talk with you. She has verified references.

We are so excited to recommend our beloved nanny, Patricia, who has been with our family for nine years and is available for a new family after the first week of September.
Patricia joined us in 2017, caring for our son from the time he was one, and then for our twin daughters from the day they were born — so she’s wonderful with everything from infants to school-age children, including multiples.
Her greatest strength is early childhood education: every day she runs a structured learning session with the kids, teaching reading, writing, early math, and more, and she makes sure they get outside daily for walks, the park, and the library. She also prepares the children’s meals, keeps their rooms and laundry in order, and communicates openly and warmly every single day.
The clearest sign of our trust: this past year, my wife and I traveled abroad for a full week and left all three children in Patricia’s sole care — the first time we’d ever left them with anyone outside our immediate family. Everything went perfectly, and the kids were disappointed when we came home.
Our only reason for the change is that our daughters are starting school and no longer need full-time care. Patricia is seeking a full-time, live-out position. She lives in Far Rockaway and commutes by public transit, so she’s well-suited to families in Queens, the Five Towns, transit-accessible Nassau, or NYC. We would hire her again without hesitation and are glad to speak with any interested family as a personal reference.
Our nanny, Sabrina, joined our family when I returned to work after maternity leave with our first child. After interviewing many potential nannies, Sabrina not only had the most experience, but she was also the easiest to talk to. By the end of our very first phone call, I already felt she was someone I could trust with my 4-month-old daughter.
My daughter is now nearly two years old, and Sabrina has been with us every step of the way. We are only parting ways because our family is moving out of the area, and we’ve decided to enroll our daughter in daycare as she’s becoming increasingly social and ready to thrive in a classroom environment.
Sabrina is incredibly attentive, patient, and nurturing. She is always tuned in to my daughter’s needs, communicates proactively about anything that comes up, and consistently goes above and beyond. She has cared for our daughter both while I worked from home and while my husband and I were in the office, giving us complete peace of mind no matter where we were.
Beyond providing exceptional childcare, Sabrina prepares meals for our family, helps with light housekeeping and laundry, and is always willing to lend a hand wherever it’s needed. She is dependable, hardworking, and genuinely cares about the families she works with.
There is no one I would trust more to care for my child. Sabrina has become such an important part of our family, and we are incredibly grateful for everything she has done for us over the past two years. Any family would be lucky to have her, and I wholeheartedly recommend her without hesitation.
We are extremely sad to part ways with our wonderful nanny of almost two years, Mayda, as our son will be starting school in the fall so our childcare needs have changed.
Mayda was with us from when our son was 4 months old until he turned two. She is extremely loving and caring and she developed a special bond with our son very quickly. She managed his schedule, his meals (including transition to solids), took him to classes and activities, helped him reach developmental milestones and more. She also taught him Spanish and many people comment on his proficiency in the language at such a young age. She was also attentive and nurturing, creating a warm environment for our son to learn, play and grow every day.
Mayda is trustworthy, kind and thoughtful and we feel lucky to have had her work with our family. She has over a decade of experience as a nanny and her references are all terrific. Please reach out with any questions or if you’d like to discuss further.
We are so excited to recommend our incredible nanny, Melissa, to a new family through Mommybites!
Melissa has been an essential part of our family, bringing over 24 years of hands-on childcare experience with children ranging from as young as 6 weeks old through the early teen years. She is not only deeply nurturing and attentive, but also incredibly knowledgeable when it comes to child development, routines, milestones and is a mother to 3 adult women.
Melissa enters our home with a happy energetic disposition ready to get the day started. She has a natural ability to create a warm, loving, and structured environment where children feel safe, supported, and truly seen. From introducing solids and managing sleep regressions to potty training and navigating toddler transitions, she approaches every stage with patience, confidence, and care.
She is dependable, proactive, and fully invested in the well-being of the children she cares for.
Melissa takes initiative with assuming all responsibilities pertaining to the children from meal prep, organizing schedules, engaging activities, and ensuring each child’s emotional and developmental needs are met. Most importantly, she treats the children as if they were her own—with genuine love and dedication.
Melissa is currently available and looking to join a new family mostly on Monday and/or Wednesdays, (as she is currently working with another family) where she can continue to offer her exceptional care and become a trusted, long-term support system.
Any family would be truly lucky to have her.
Please feel free to reach out for more details or a direct reference—we cannot recommend her enough!
Kami has been with us for the past two years and has truly become part of our family. She is kind, nurturing, patient, playful, intelligent, and mindful. She has been wonderful with both of our children and is equally comfortable caring for infants and toddlers, alike.
She drives and has helped us with school drop-offs and pick-ups, as well as outings with our toddler to the library, playground, and playdates. Kami is dependable, engaged, and genuinely enjoys spending time with the children in her care.
She is local to North Merrick and would love to find something in the area (Merrick, Bellmore, or up the Meadowbrook around Garden City). She’s looking for part-time (approximately 5 hours a day, with availability between 8am and 4pm), ideally four days per week.
One important note: because she has allergies, a home with furry pets would not be the right fit.
We are so sad to lose her as our youngest transitions to full-time camp/school, but we would be thrilled to see her land with another warm local family.
Working with Nerisia has been an absolute dream for the last 3.5 years. Nerisia approaches every day with kindness, energy, and adventure. She is fantastic with newborns and has supported our daughter’s development from 6 weeks through all of her major milestones. She has organized her meals every day, done laundry each week for both of our kids, and has curated exciting daily adventures around New York City. She has organized a wonderful playgroup for our daughter and even arranged and decorated her birthday parties. Whether it was picnics, playdates, museums, or rainy day art activities, Nerisia has always ensured that our daughter’s day was structured and engaging.
Nerisia brings immense joy and warmth to her interactions with children, making her a truly exceptional professional. As an excellent communicator, she ensures that we are aligned in our approach to instilling strong values and manners in our children, demonstrating them herself. Her dedication to our children’s education is evident in her willingness to help with homework and teaching our three-year-old her letters. Beyond her unwavering commitment, Nerisia is also incredibly thoughtful, reliable, and punctual. Our entire family regards Nerisia and her family as an integral part of our own, and she will remain a cherished member of our lives long after she finds another family to work with.
We would be thrilled to answer any questions about Nerisia.
Daniela is truly so caring and enthusiastic. She has been caring for our almost one year old since he was four months old. I have watched her adapt to his development and needs. She has found wonderful daytime activities at the libraries and also spends a lot of time at the park. She is incredible with him, flexible with his every mood and communicative with us.
Daniela knows how to properly handle breast milk and formula. She is happy to prepare meals now that he is eating solids.
Daniela always tidies up, doing any dishes used during the day and making sure toys are put away when done being used.
Daniela is also wonderful with our cats, including one who is quite temperamental.
I cannot recommend her highly enough
Yvonne was our nanny from the time our daughter was a few months old until she was 11 and she is an absolutely wonderful nanny. She is a very responsible, caring, gentle and encouraging person. I particularly appreciated how engaged she was with our daughter when at home or on regular trips to the parks, museums and around the neighborhood. She was a dream come true for our family. I frequently received compliments from other parents about how great Yvonne was with our daughter and I always felt completely secure with leaving our daughter in Yvonne’s care. We had such a great experience with her! Yvonne also has experience with newborns, including working as a baby nurse. Happy to do reference calls.
I highly recommend Tasha as a caregiver and nanny. She has worked with my three children, ages 1, 3, (from birth) and 13, and has consistently demonstrated exceptional patience, professionalism, and dedication.
She holds a master’s degree in special education and general education with certifications for grades 5–9 and 7–12 and has over 10 years of successful experience teaching math and science. Her educational background has been invaluable in helping my children academically. She regularly assisted my 13-year-old with homework and test preparation, including support for state exams, and found creative, age-appropriate ways to help my 3-year-old develop early learning skills.
Beyond academics, she easily builds strong relationships with children of all ages. She is attentive to each child’s individual needs and does an excellent job balancing learning, fun, and structure. She enjoys taking children to parks, museums, aquariums, zoos, libraries, and other local activities that encourage exploration and learning.
In addition to childcare, she has also been willing to help occasionally with household tasks such as children’s laundry and organizing when needed. The kids are her priority, and she ensures that they are in a well-functioning environment. One of her greatest strengths is her flexibility—she adapts well to changing schedules and family needs and is always dependable and accommodating with proper communication.
She has been a tremendous support to our family, and I would confidently recommend her to any family looking for a caring, knowledgeable, reliable, and engaging nanny. Her combination of educational expertise, childcare experience, and genuine love for children makes her an outstanding caregiver.
This is a reference for Anita Rock. Anita has been our family’s nanny for our three children (who are now 9, 8, and 5) over the past three years. She has been a “super nanny” – in every sense of the phrase.
Prior to coming to us, Anita had worked over the course of nearly 30 years with two other families, both (obviously) for extended periods of time. When we spoke to them, they truly raved about her, about her commitment, her communications, and the degree to which she became a critical part of their families.
Anita has every bit lived up to this in her work with us and our children. She is genuinely a third parent – takes deep ownership over her job; has (almost unbelievably) not taken a day off in three years; is open to working when sick, when the family needs it; is genuinely and remarkably always on time, and in fact early much of the time.
For us, Anita arrives for us at 7:30 in the morning, makes our three kids breakfast (she loves to cook), gets them packed up and ready for school, helps get them out the door, and then brings 1 or 2 of them to school. During the time that they are at school, she makes beds, organizes the house, gets groceries, runs errands (indeed sometimes suggests errands that need to be run, then does them), and does any pre-work required for dinner prep. She then manages school pick-ups and shuttling our eldest two around Brooklyn for after school activities, play-dates, etc.
Our three kids are now nine, eight, and five – and Anita has been with us for three years, so since they were six, five, and two. Throughout, she has been impeccable in terms of parent-level communications – and also has simply brought a tremendous amount of love to the household. She worked deeply with our children to get to know them, to understand them. When she started, our oldest wasn’t super happy about having a new nanny – as he had spent several years with a prior nanny – and he showed up with some attitude. We were impressed at how Anita was able to work with him to win his trust and forge a strong relationship, despite his initial reticence. Our daughter got really into knitting, as an after school activity over the past year, so Anita decided to take it up with her – and now they knit together at home. And for our youngest, she has effectively raised him from when he was an early toddler – with non-stop love and affection throughout.
Anita, as a third parent, is able to lean into structure and discipline where needed. She ensures our kids show up with good manners and take ownership for different parts of their lives. This includes piano lessons, homework, chores – but also instilling good values, etc. This also very much jives with what we heard from prior families. When we were considering working with her, two of the kids she previously worked with, then in college, wrote us the sweetest letters about the many ways in which Anita shaped them as people.
We’re super super sad to be losing Anita, but we needed to shift to a part-time arrangement, which didn’t work for her, so we are now really motivated to help her find an amazing new family. She truly is a gem and will be an incredible fit for some lucky home. Anita lives in NYC, so this would be for a live-out position. We would be more than happy to jump on a phone call and share more details or answer questions!!
It is with both gratitude and sadness that I write this reference for our incredible nanny, who has been with our family for the past 2.5 years. She has been such a meaningful part of our lives, and it is only due to my recent job relocation to another state that we are parting ways.
From the very beginning, she brought warmth, reliability, and genuine care into our home. She consistently created a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for our children, always going above and beyond to support their growth and happiness. Her patience, attentiveness, and ability to connect with them on their level made a lasting impact not just on them, but on our entire family.
She always made sure the kids had meaningful interaction throughout the day by organizing playdates and taking them to classes, keeping them active, social, and engaged.
She is dependable, communicative, and incredibly thoughtful. Whether it was managing daily routines, planning activities, or simply being a steady and comforting presence, she handled everything with professionalism and heart. I always felt completely at ease knowing my children were in her care.
Beyond her role as a caregiver, she truly became part of our family. Her kindness, positivity, and strong work ethic are qualities that any household would be lucky to have.
I wholeheartedly recommend her to any family seeking a trustworthy, dedicated, and loving nanny. She will be deeply missed, and any family would be fortunate to have her.
Please feel free to reach out at 929-232-4297 if you have any questions.
Our nanny Ann is looking for a new job starting in September. She has been with us since 2018 and cared for both of my sons.
She is warm, responsible, flexible and a great communicator, I honestly don’t know what we would have done without her all these years. We are devastated that it’s time to move on! Our sons adores her and at every stage, she’s known how to manage them- she was a calming presence when they were infants and became their play buddy when they became toddlers.
Her preference is to work with newborns/infants, hopefully growing with the family and she is only looking for full-time roles.
Our wonderful former nanny, Yvonne Brissett, is looking for her next long-term family. Yvonne was a true partner to my husband and me in raising our child. She made it possible for us to balance demanding careers with parenting—giving us total peace of mind that our little one was safe, happy, and thriving.
From day one, Yvonne made our child her top priority. She became deeply attuned to their needs and encouraged independence, curiosity, and learning. She celebrated milestones, engaged in real (not baby talk) conversations, and created a joyful, loving environment.
Beyond her exceptional care, Yvonne was a joy to have in our home. She’s energetic, funny, and professional. She traveled with us frequently—both with our child and when we needed care while traveling solo.
A few additional highlights:
20+ years of experience as a career nanny, with a background in hospitality—she’s warm, polished, and communicative
Extremely reliable and punctual—critical for us with our long and often unpredictable work hours
Flexible and accommodating—always willing to stay late or adjust plans on short notice
Goes above and beyond on household tasks—handled all child-related chores and more (dishes, tidying, grocery runs, tracking supplies like diapers and wipes)
Development-focused—suggested toys and activities to support learning, read regularly with our child, and encouraged language development from an early stage
An excellent communicator with family and community—kept grandparents updated with photos and FaceTimes, and built friendly relationships with others in our daily life like our housekeeper and doormen
Yvonne is hoping to find a loving, long-term family. Please feel free to reach out to her directly—or I’m happy to answer any questions or chat further about our experience.

I am happy to recommend Isi as a nanny. She cared for our daughter for a full year, beginning when she was just 4 months old. During that important stage of our daughter’s development, Isi provided consistent, loving, and attentive care, and it was clear that our daughter absolutely adored her. We always felt that our daughter was safe and well cared for in Isi’s hands, which gave us great peace of mind.
Isi was consistently reliable, punctual, and flexible with our family’s needs. She was also proactive and hardworking – whenever there was downtime, she would find ways to help around the house rather than waiting to be asked. That willingness to pitch in was something we really appreciated and was of great help.
Most importantly, Isi formed a wonderful bond with our daughter and treated her with patience, kindness, and affection. We are grateful for the care she provided over the past year and are confident that she will bring the same warmth, reliability, and dedication to her next position. We wish her all the best and would be happy to recommend her to another family.
