Find A Nanny
She is loving, caring,
happy, responsible and reliable. She is amazing at engaging children at different age groups, arranging play dates with my son’s friends, very friendly with my sons friends and parents, helped with potty training, and helped him learn his numbers and letters. She created a routine schedule of learning and creative play for my son. Anyone who knows or works with children knows routine is key and she excelled. She has all the attributes you look for in a nanny.
I had the absolute pleasure of having Mediour Mdengue care for my daughter for three years, and I can confidently say she is one of the most exceptional childcare providers I have ever met.
From the very beginning, Mediour created a safe, loving, and structured environment where my daughter truly thrived. She treated my child as if she were her own—always attentive, patient, and deeply nurturing. As a parent, there is nothing more reassuring than knowing your child is in capable and caring hands, and Mediour consistently exceeded my expectations.
Her experience truly shows in everything she does. Whether it was managing daily routines, preparing meals, supporting early learning, or simply providing emotional comfort, she handled every situation with professionalism and warmth. My daughter developed beautifully under her care—socially, emotionally, and intellectually.
What sets Mediour apart is her reliability and genuine dedication. She was always punctual, trustworthy, and flexible with our family’s needs. Her calm demeanor and natural ability to connect with children made a lasting impact on our household.
Even after three years, we still consider Mediour part of our family. Any family would be incredibly fortunate to have her. I wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone seeking a highly experienced, dependable, and compassionate childcare provider.
Please feel free to contact me for further reference—I would be more than happy to share more about our wonderful experience.
Muofhe, who goes by her middle name, Confidence , affectionately called CC by our two year old daughter, served as our nanny for seven months during our stay in Brooklyn, NY.
From the moment Confidence walked through our door for her interview, my husband and I had an immediate feeling that she was going to be the right person for our family. This proved true from the start and we couldn’t be happier with her and the love and care she showed to our daughter.
Confidence effortlessly played with our daughter and taught her various concepts. The alphabet, counting to 20, colors, patterns, etc. were lessons that were incorporated through daily play and fun. Within a few weeks, our daughter was blowing our minds with what she knew and the random things she would say at the dinner table.
Confidence also would help with light house keeping, cooking for our daughter, and she had our full trust to accompany her to activities around the city.
Confidence was always on time, always willing to go above and beyond, did not need directions; she just knew what to do and did it. It was a pleasure to have Confidence be a part of our daily lives.
Hello! I am writing on behalf of our nanny, Caluta. Caluta was our full time live in nanny for 3 years and now works for us solely on weekends. She is a part of our family & my children absolutely adore her. Caluta is active and fun with our high energy school aged boys and young daughter. She guides them with a loving and warm personality that is patient, not quick to anger and extremely attentive. She is the kind of person that actually plays with our kids and runs around with them and is never on her phone. We also love how she constantly reads to them and works on school work or early learning like letter recognition, puzzles, building, writing ETC. We trust her whole heartedly with safety and care and have left for several vacations with her in charge and never worried. Prior to working with us, she was a live in a nanny for a family for 19 years – which speaks highly to her character and the fact that she is someone who is great to have around. She is easy going, easily adaptable and genuinely loves children and being a caretaker. In addition to all of her wonderful nanny skills, Caluta is an amazing cook who took charge of cooking for our kids and many times also for my husband and I and also our visiting guests. She is looking for a live in or live out position with a family that she can work with for years to come. She can start in May and would ideally be in the Harrison or Rye area. Her preference is to work 4 days a week. Please reach out to her if you are interested.
We have had Ali with us for the last 5 months, and the only reason we are giving her up as our nanny is because we are moving outside of the city. When I was going back to work, I was so nervous to leave our then 6 month old son with someone and when we found Ali, I was instantly put at ease. She is incredibly loving and caring for our son and he lights up every day when she walks in the door. She is extremely reliable and always willing to help out around the apartment. She does the baby’s laundry twice per week and on occasion she will do me and my husband’s laundry. She always makes sure the apartment is tidy and dishes are clean. She also keeps our baby very busy – she loves bringing him to classes, to the library or now as the weather is getting nicer bringing him for walks outside and to the local playground. Any family would be so lucky to have Ali with them! Please feel free to reach out directly to Ali if you are interested.
Assana is an experienced professional nanny with over 15 years of experience as both a nanny and travel nanny. She has worked with multiple families, helping raise their children with patience, structure, and consistency. She has watched my family grow and has been a great addition to our support system.
While it is bittersweet for us to write this, I wholeheartedly recommend Mayra Gonzalez, who was an integral part of our family for the past five years. We had truly hoped she would remain with us for many years to come, but due to a change in our family circumstances, that is no longer possible. Although we are very sad to see her go, we know she will be an incredible addition to another family.
During her time with us, she consistently demonstrated exceptional reliability, warmth, and professionalism, and she became someone we trusted completely with both our children and our home.
Mayra has a natural gift with children. She is engaging, patient, and genuinely enjoys spending time with them—whether that meant imaginative play, outdoor activities, or helping to support their daily routines. Our children absolutely adored her and truly looked forward to every day they spent together. She had a remarkable ability to connect with them at every stage and tailor her play to their interests and ages. From playing catch for hours with our 8-year-old son to sitting on the floor and fully immersing herself in imaginative doll play with our daughter—Mayra brought joy, energy, and care into their daily lives.
She also took on key household responsibilities related to the children with great care and consistency. She regularly prepared healthy, thoughtful meals for them, managed their laundry, and helped keep their spaces tidy and organized. In addition, she was a consistently safe, responsible, and reliable driver, ensuring the children were transported to and from activities with care and punctuality.
Most importantly, Mayra is incredibly trustworthy and dependable. We always felt at ease knowing our children were in such capable and caring hands.
This decision in no way reflects her performance, which has been outstanding in every respect.
Any family would be truly fortunate to have Mayra as part of their home. I recommend her without hesitation.
Please feel free to contact me if you would like to discuss her experience further.

We’re wholeheartedly recommending our wonderful nanny, Farah, who was with our family for over four years caring for our two daughters (now 4.5 and 2.5). She has been such an important part of their lives and truly cares for them with love, patience, and warmth.
Farah is completely trustworthy, dependable, and communicates openly. She prepares healthy meals and keeps the girls engaged with fun, age-appropriate activities. She regularly takes them to classes, playgrounds, and neighborhood outings, and is fantastic at organizing playdates and helping them build friendships in the community.
Farah is now looking for a part-time role in Manhattan (Monday–Friday, flexible with hours between 9-5, 30-35 hours a week), ideally with one child. Any family would be lucky to have her.
Feel free to contact her directly at 646-234-5001 and happy to talk more if you have any questions!
I’m happy to provide a reference for our nanny, who was with our family for the past eight months. During her time with us, she was consistently reliable, always arriving on time and maintaining a dependable schedule, which we truly appreciated.
As a first-time mom returning to work, it was very important for me to feel comfortable leaving my son in someone else’s care. She helped make that transition easier, and I always felt that my son was safe and well cared for while I was away.
She was also very consistent with household support, including keeping up with our laundry and helping with day-to-day tasks around the home. She always cleaned up after our son and kept his spaces organized, which made a big difference in our daily routine.
In addition, she regularly attended classes and activities both within our building and in the community. Through this, she helped our son socialize and build connections, creating a small circle of familiar friends for him, which we really valued.
Over time, she became a steady and familiar presence in our home and a part of our family’s routine. She was responsible, trustworthy, and maintained a consistent level of care throughout her employment.
We’re grateful for the support she provided our family and would recommend her to another family seeking a reliable and dependable caregiver.
Exceptional nanny available for nights or/and weekends childcare
Our wonderful French nanny and daughter’s best friend is now available to make the nights and/ or weekends of a new lucky and loving families easier!
Didi was a dream come true for our family and it’s a great pleasure to highly recommend her to her new loving families as we moving out of town.
She has 15 years of experience working with children of all ages and she’s incredibly patient, loving and amazing with our baby.
She has been taking care of her since she was 3 months old and she’s 4 years old now.
Hiring Didi in 2022 was the best decision ever made for our family. She’s energetic, attentive, kind, responsible and extremely reliable when it comes to keeping our girl healthy and safe.
For 4 years, our girl has been well-fed, carefully bathed, toilet trained, nap trained, entertained, loved, cuddled everyday. We always felt completely secure with leaving our daughter, our first and only child in her care.
Didi has made our girl’s life full and fun by engaging with her in multiple activities and by organizing play dates, story times, music times, painting, etc. with the other nannies of the neighborhood in order to encourage her to speak, play and interact socially with others. The results on our girl is amazing. Thanks to her special skills and approach to caring for our girl, she’s smart, curious, happy, confident, well mannered and totally fluent in both French and English.
She cooked the most delicious healthy meals for our daughter and our apartment was always spotless as she light cleaned after her.
Didi has a great sense of communication, she respected our personal parenting style but was also confident enough to independently make day to day decisions regarding our girl. We deeply value her extraordinary calm and patience with our child. Our girl absolutely love her, she runs every morning at the door to welcome Didi with excitement, joy and hugs.
She has been such a great contribution to our family and we’re so grateful for all the ways she’s made our life easier!
Please, take note that Didi is fully vaccinated and covid cautious and that she is willing to help families primarily at nights or/and weekends.
Feel free to reach out to her directly through her phone number 347-907-7639. I’m also standing ready to sing more her praises. Contact me for further information at gigilene10@gmail.com
Lurine has been our wonderful night nurse for the last 8 weeks and has been an absolute blessing to our family. From the get go it was clear she has a wonderful personality, adores babies, is reliable, and is easy to communicate with. Over time we learned how much of a calming presence she was, particularly in those early days and regressions when times are tough. We looked forward to every night Lurine was with us, because we knew we could rest easy and our son would be taken care of. In the mornings, our son has the biggest smile waking up with Lurine. They sing songs, read books, play, talk, and she even got him to enjoy tummy time!
As a new first time mom, Lurine made me feel very comfortable and safe asking questions and learning how to be a new mom and care for an infant. I never felt judged or pressured into doing something, which I can’t say for all of my night nurse and nanny experiences. She is also very experienced with developmental milestones and newborn care, and she gave us amazing tips and encouragement to support our son.
Separately, our son has specific medical needs (he feeds from a g-tube) and it was difficult finding someone we could trust who was caring and attentive enough to learn different feeding and burping processes, and Lurine embraced the challenge beautifully.
Lurine is looking for her next family and is open to night nurse positions Monday – Friday in Brooklyn and Manhattan! We couldn’t recommend her strongly enough!
I am writing this note in support of our Nanny, Ruth George, as she looks to begin a long-term role with another family. Ruth started looking after my son when he was 4 months old and has been with us five days a week through his second birthday. We are moving out of Manhattan, or else would have happily continued with Ruth and would like to highly recommend her for her next position.
Ruth has helped us through various stages of our son’s development, including but not limited to regulating naps, introducing new foods, and speech development. She reads to him, plays with him, and makes him laugh. She loves taking him out on walks, whether that be to the park, library, bookstore, museums, or the many playdates that she proactively sets up with other children from the neighborhood. The playdates in particular have been great for developing our son’s social skills. She also spends loads of one-on-one timing engaging with him in whichever toys or books he is interested in that day. We also look forward to the photos and videos Ruth sends us throughout the day to show us the activities our son is enjoying.
Ruth also cooks our son’s meals, does his laundry, and cleans up his books and toys. She is flexible around our personal schedules and is also happy to take our son to appointments or classes whenever they are scheduled. Perhaps most importantly, we’ve always felt that our son is in safe, trusting hands with Ruth. She is also CPR certified and has experience in early childhood education.
I am confident that the family that hires Ruth next will be as happy and grateful as we are.
Anita O’Reilly was the loving nanny to our daughter, Sarah, from the summer of 2012, when she was eight months old, and to our son, Andrew, since his birth in March of 2016. Anita was the first candidate we interviewed, and I knew right away that she was the one for us. I still remember her cradling Sarah in her arms, and Sarah just gazing at up at her. We interviewed several other candidates, but my gut feeling was that Anita was the one. Speaking with Anita’s references only reinforced our decision to hire her, and we never looked back.
Anita was hard working, conscientious, affectionate, and a true partner in raising our children. She managed both kids’ camp and school schedules, and she easily handled both children at home, out at playgrounds when the weather is nice, at indoor facilities when the weather was bad and on all modes of transportation. She was always punctual and is a reliable employee. Most of all, it was a blessing to be able to leave the house every morning knowing that Sarah and Andrew will be spending the day with someone who will treat them as her own children. Andrew said all the time that the wanted Anita to stay at our house and spend the night; he thought of her as part of the family and couldn’t understand why she had to go somewhere else once I got home each day. He even coined the term “mommynita” to refer to the two of us. When my husband arrived home before I do, he always commented to me later that evening how happy he was with the way Anita interacts with the kids. Both sets of grandparents made similar comments, as did our neighbors.
I am happy to speak by phone with anyone who is considering hiring Anita to care for their child or children.
Our incredible nanny is looking for a new full-time position as our family recently relocated to the suburbs. She has been with us for over 2 years, starting when our son was just 5 months old, and has been a constant, trusted presence in our home ever since. Gricelda is warm, patient, incredibly dependable, and truly exceptional with kids. She has strong experience with babies and toddlers and brings such a great balance of being calm and nurturing while also very energetic and active. She has been wonderful in helping guide our son through every stage, from infancy into toddlerhood, and is very in tune with routines and development. She also prepares very healthy, well-balanced meals and has been great about making sure our son is eating nutritious foods. She is fluent in both Spanish and English and has been teaching our son Spanish, which has been such a meaningful part of his daily life. It’s been amazing to see him understand and use both languages through their time together. She is extremely reliable, organized, and a great communicator. She takes real pride in her work and has treated our son with so much love and care from the very beginning. Having someone stay with our family long-term was very important to us, and she has been exactly that kind of steady, committed caregiver.
We feel very lucky to have had her with us for over 2 years, and it is only because of our move that she is looking for a new position. Any family would be lucky to have her. We would be more than happy to speak directly as a reference.
We had the absolute pleasure of having Leema with our family for two years, and she truly became a part of our home. From the start, we had complete peace of mind knowing she was caring for our young son. Leema managed his daily schedule with such care; they were structured but never over scheduled which was important to me. On sick days they’d cuddle up and watch movies and if the sun was shining, they’d be outside all day long.
Leema’s exceptional ability is making everything an educational adventure. She kept our son engaged all day long with play that was both productive and age-appropriate. She even found ways to include him in daily chores, turning ‘work’ into fun, pride-filled moments for him.
Beyond childcare, she was a massive help to our household – consistently staying on top of laundry and tidying up. Our dog also adored her just as much as we did! She was a lifesaver when we worked from home; she naturally kept our son busy and happy, allowing us to focus on our jobs without interruption.
Leema is communicative, professional, loving, loyal and thoughtful. She treated our son, my husband, and me like we were her family. I cannot recommend her highly enough.
Leema raised 3 children of her own (now adults), and has more than 6 years of nannying experience. She is looking to ideally find a family in New York City.
I cannot recommend our incredible nanny Shondell highly enough. She has been an integral part of our family for the past 2.5 years, caring for my child with exceptional patience, warmth, and dedication.
Shondell is reliable, trustworthy, and genuinely nurturing. Every day, She created a safe, engaging, and structured environment—planning age-appropriate activities, encouraging learning and development, and ensuring my child always felt supported, happy, and secure.
She consistently went above and beyond in every aspect of her role, from maintaining routines and preparing meals to keeping everything organized and running smoothly. Shondell’s professionalism and natural ability with children truly set her apart.
We are only parting ways because our family is relocating—otherwise, we would keep Shondell forever. Any family would be incredibly lucky to have her.
Shondell is now seeking a full-time nanny position in Manhattan or Downtown Brooklyn with a loving family.
Please feel free to message me for more details or a direct reference – I would be more than happy to speak on her behalf.
Allie is an extremely caring nanny, who has worked with our family for the past three years. She joined us when our second child was 11 months old. Since then, our family has grown to three children, who are now 20 months to nearly 6 years old. During this time, she has regularly cared for multiple children at different ages and stages. Prior to working with us, she had over 20+ years of experience taking care of children.
She has worked more than 50 hours per week with us, typically caring for two children and often all three. She is organized and attentive, and she manages the different routines and needs of the children well. It is no small task managing all the different school pick up / drop offs, activities, play dates, etc., that come with looking after three small kids.
In addition to childcare, she helps keep our household running smoothly. She assists with laundry and does an exceptional job keeping our house clean, as well as other daily tasks that come with having young children. She is dependable and takes initiative when things need to be done. She has also made herself available for evenings and weekends when our schedule required it.
She has been a caring and loving presence for our children and we appreciate the support she has provided to our family. We remain very close with her and intend to stay close for years to come.
Alexandra is a highly qualified registered nurse with 5 years pediatric experience (including 2 years in the ICU caring for newborns to elementary aged children). She also worked for 4 years as a nanny during her college years, returning to the family on and off when they needed help.
She is kind, nurturing, and provides attentive and responsive care rooted in attachment based principles.
She is looking for work primarily on the weekend but is also open to overnight nurse nanny positions!
Is happy to chat and discuss whatever arrangements work best for the family.
We are saying goodbye to our nanny, Asha, as our son has transitioned to full-time daycare. Asha has been with us for over one year (since he was 4-months old) but has helped other families ranging from a period of 3 to 15 years, is still in contact and very much loved by the children and families she’s helped. She is experienced with babies and older kids, kind and responsible.
As a first-time mom, I was nervous to entrust my newborn to anyone but after speaking with Asha over the phone and meeting in person, she quickly eased any concerns. She’s warm, easy to talk to, and genuinely cares for your child. Below are a few things that make her a great addition to any family:
– Patient & Nurturing: She treats children with patience, love, and genuine care. Our son was not the easiest with nap time nor starting solids but she took the time to follow his cues, acknowledging that each child has a different temperament, while encouraging milestone development
– Values & Manners: As our son began babbling and working on language skills, she was intentional about teaching kindness (ex: always saying hi, bye, thank you)
– Social Support: She took our son to play spaces and music classes, as well as facilitated playdates with a few nannies/children she became close with
– Dependable: She was always punctual and reliable. She sent pictures throughout the day and provided updates when I came home after work – most importantly, you could see our son was safe and happy
We’re happy to answer any questions you might have!
