Review by Juliette DeCarlo

What parent hasn’t experienced a diaper blowout at the most inopportune time? They always seem to come in the middle of the night, at lunch with friends, or even when your great aunt Sally is holding the baby for the first time. The clean-up is always messy and you find yourself wishing there was some way to prevent the next one.

That’s why I was eager to test out BabyBackups and see if this was finally a real solution to such a frustrating problem. When testing it out on my two-month-old baby, I loved how easy they were to put on the diaper. There’s one adhesive strip on the back with a blue indicator line to help you align it with the top of the diaper. Once the BabyBackup was on it didn’t move at all and never seemed to bother my daughter. It’s soft, and I think the extra padding was comfortable for her.

I tested it out over a few days, both during the day and at night. On the one occasion that she did have a blowout, the BabyBackup absorbed it and prevented the poop from going up her back. They’re also helpful for times when you haven’t had a chance to change the baby, as it prevents the baby’s back from getting wet.

Rather than searching for the perfect diaper that will keep everything in, the BabyBackups offer a less expensive and less time consuming option. They also come with a cute travel bag that you can easily throw into your diaper bag. If your baby tends to have leaks and blowouts, I recommend giving these a try!

*What exactly does a sponsored product review mean? Well, it goes a little something like this: unlike all of our educational content blogs where we receive NO compensation, for our S.O.S reviews Mommybites has been compensated by companies to review and discuss their product. This helps us pay outside bloggers (ones not affiliated with Mommybites, nor the companies themselves) to try out and review the products. This insures that all the reviewers writing these reviews are not influenced in any way. As usual, the writers will always give their honest opinions, findings, beliefs, or experiences on all topics, products, and services.

The views and opinions expressed on this blog are purely the blog contributor’s. Any product claim, statistic, quote or other representation about a product or service should be verified with the manufacturer or provider. Writers may have conflicts of interest, and their opinions are their own.
