Thank You 2010!

As 2010 comes to end I find myself reflecting on what I am thankful for. I am of course thankful for all “the biggies”. The biggies are such things as the health and happiness of my family, my friends, and my children. But it is also the accumulation of all the “little” things that make a great year. Here are just a few of mine:

    1. My older son still likes to hold my hand every once in a while.
    2. All four of my sons’ grandparents are still healthy.
    3. The babybites’ team are some of the smartest, funniest and hardest working women I have ever met.
    4. My weekly “waffle dates” out with my younger son.
    5. Reality TV rocks (I know – don’t cringe… but there you have it)!
    6. All the incredible friends I have met through the babybites’ community who are gracious and kind even when I show up at our “moms’ night out” holiday party with no gifts…
    7. My husband, whom I have been with for almost two decades(!), and I still really dig him.
    8. Hot yoga classes at New York Yoga (exercise for the body and mind).
    9. Laura – the sister I never had and the best partner and friend a girl could ask for.
    10. A good Harlen Coben, a hot, cloudless day, a beach, a diet coke with extra ice, and 5 hours all to myself.
    11. Really good girlfriends. I mean really good. The kind that truly like you for who you are, never judge and can make you laugh even when you feel like crying.
    12. Friendly’s Mint Chip ice cream with hot fudge, Cozy’s Three Bean Chili with their homemade bread, and a Starbucks Tall Skinny Vanilla Latte.
