5) Art Lab – Story Time

Eckford Street Studio, 70 Eckford Street

(347) 464-6929

Ages: Various classes offered for kids 6 months to 5 years, accompanied by a parent

If you’re looking for a creative outlet, try the Art Lab at Eckford Street Studio. They offer classes that include storytelling with mixed media creations. Parents and kids learn about various artists and techniques while being encouraged to create on their own and listen to fun stories. The classes are very engaging and include a multitude of days and times to fit any schedule. The best part? Art Lab uses all-natural supplies. Since we all know those little buggers will put everything in their mouths, it’s comforting to know all paints and colors are made with fruits and veggies, making them 100% safe if your little decides it’s better to eat their project than to create one.

With so much to choose from in your neighborhood, get out there and expend some of that pent-up energy, mommas!

Go have some fun with your kiddos and enjoy the quiet time later when they’re finally worn out enough for naptime. You’re welcome.
