You asked and you shall now receive. It’s only fair for us to share all of this stored up knowledge about having a baby and what is going on with your body during those nine (really ten) months. We now will answer, in a very public forum, all of those burning questions about having a baby. Each Monday, we will tackle a commonly-asked-question from the point of view of an expectant parent. Chiming in to give feedback will be an expert (you know someone who does this for a living). Earmark, share and add your own input to today’s question; it’s good karma.
What are some movies I can watch to prepare for childbirth?
For some expectant moms, movies are a wonderful way to get a preview of the big day! For some other moms, books may ease their worries and help prepare them for the birth of their little ones. A great resource that comes in both book and video format is from Ricki Lake.
Her book, Your Best Birth, is a wonderful book to read about the birth process and to make decisions that are right for your family.
Her video, The Business of Being Born, is for those moms that want to see what actual labor looks like and follows the pregnancies of several women from home birth to hospital birth.
