Hi, Everyone,
This Valentine’s Day I professed my love to the usual suspects – my hubby, my kiddies and… the new unusual love of my life, our pet African Side Neck turtle, Squirtle. I love her. There, I said it. I know it’s a little strange to love a reptile, but with the exception of fish, this is our first family pet. For all you pet owners out there who adore your animals, I finally get it. Ya know how love makes you a little crazy sometimes? Well, I actually tried to buy Squirtle a cheerleader skirt for Halloween (until my husband put his foot down). That’s how much I see her as part of our family!
So during this week of love, here’s to traditional loves and um… untraditional loves.
