What snacks do you pack for on-the-go eating?
Expert: Marsha Greenberg
One of the ways we can think about toddler snacks is to see it as a small meal so you do not have to worry about a snack ruining a meal time. With many toddlers a snack is a meal so try and make the most of it. Besides the traditional crackers and fruit try some of these things and see how it goes:
- pancakes- or pancakes rolled up with peanut or almond butter
- burrito rolled up with scrambled eggs or cheese
- graham crackers and guacamole dip
- cold sweet potatoes chunks
- edamame
