Busy Parents Eating Healthfully

I don’t mean to embarrass anyone. Especially not my awesome business partner and partner-in-crime, Mommybites co-founder, Laura Deutsch. But what are friends for? It is my honor and pleasure to tell you that Laura has spent the last year taking classes at the Integrative Institute of Nutrition and is now a certified health coach!

Through our work at Mommybites, she and I have seen first hand the evolution and importance of families incorporating healthy eating habits into their lifestyles. But we also know from talking with and listening to parents how hard it often is to buy, cook and be healthy while leading such busy lives.

So Laura decided to take matters into her own hands. In addition to running the business side of Mommybites, she will be one of our resident health coaches and will be providing regular tips on ways to live healthy lives, serve healthy food, and be good “healthy” role models for our children.

Here is one of my favorite tips from Laura on Nutrient Packed Breakfasts in 60 seconds! I would also like to thank her for not judging my jar-per-week Nutella habit and for introducing me to healthier sweet alternatives, which she will be writing about over the coming weeks.

Here’s to busy parents eating healthfully.
