I’m a Brooklyn Mom and also an independent singer/songwriter who makes music for kids and families. I feel lucky that I’ve been able to find balance in doing what I love as my profession as a free-lance artist, while also being a full-time Mom.

I’m Holly Hurd, founder of the VentureMom platform designed to show every mom in America how they, too, can start a business and find economic freedom and that oh-so-coveted flexibility.
I am the Executive Director of The Juvenile Products Manufacturers Association (JPMA). We exist as the voice of the industry on quality and safety for products intended for babies and children.
I love being a parenting editor! I spent 14 years at other parenting publications before becoming editorial director of NYMetroParents.
