Can I be overstimulating my baby? Does my baby need alone time? Many new parents wonder if it’s possible to play with a baby too much. The answer is yes.
TIP#1: Babies need quiet time just like adults do!
TIP #2: Look for signs your baby needs a break and give your baby some breathing room.
TIP #3: Signs your baby needs a break: looking away (avoiding your gaze), acting fussy, rubbing eyes, rubbing ears, yawning, staring aimlessly…
TIP #4: Decide if your baby needs only a temporary break from playing before she wants more.
TIP # 5: Decide if your baby needs a longer break like a nap.
TIP #6: Always look to your baby for signs of how he feels. Listen to your baby and she will tell you what she needs!
