clearrinse We all know that this winter has been awful. It has been filled with freezing cold temperatures, snow, some more snow and colds. Although adults can usually handle being sick fairly well, it is our children that suffer. I know in my household, it has been a constant battle between congestion and coughing. Both of which affect a child’s eating, sleeping and of course, breathing. Which then causes a chain reaction, affecting everyone in the household.

I was recently introduced to the Clearinse Nasal Cleaning System and I was beyond impressed. Clearinse puts those over-the- counter remedies to shame. Clearinse uses a pump system that creates flow and pressure that are often used in hospitals. This is the only device that both irrigates and aspirates the nose. When I first received this product, I looked at it with minimal hope because I thought that there was no way an electric device would do the job of a small nasal pump. To my surprise, it did.

To use this product, you first charge it up. Then you fill it with saline solution. Then you place the device in the child’s nose and simply press the irrigate button. This loosens up the mucus, therefore instantly relieving the congestion. After you have successfully irrigated the congestion, all you have to do is press the aspirate button. The aspirate button simply removes the congestion. I know what you’re thinking: “Where does it all go and how do I clean it?” Simple. The congestion is all stored in the wash head and to remove it, you just pull the top off and wash it out. It is so simple and quick!

I even tried this product on an adult and the results were amazing. For an adult, you would just have to do it one or two more times as this product was designed for a baby’s nose. This wonderful product sells on Amazon for $119 which includes the wash heads, the handle, base, a charger, and saline solution. Saline solution refills are available and so are replacement wash heads.

In my opinion, this product is life changing. While other products move some of the mucus and congestion out, this product moves all or most of it out of the nasal passage. Another benefit of this product is that you do not have to wipe your child’s nose either! Instead of having to constantly wipe your child’s nose, the aspirate function saves your child’s skin from becoming raw and irritated due to the constant tissue use.

*What exactly does a sponsored product review mean? Well, it goes a little something like this: unlike all of our educational content blogs where we receive NO compensation, for our S.O.S reviews Mommybites has been compensated by companies to review and discuss their product. This helps us pay outside bloggers (ones not affiliated with Mommybites, nor the companies themselves) to try out and review the products. This insures that all the reviewers writing these reviews are not influenced in any way. As usual, the writers will always give their honest opinions, findings, beliefs, or experiences on all topics, products, and services.

The views and opinions expressed on this blog are purely the blog contributor’s. Any product claim, statistic, quote or other representation about a product or service should be verified with the manufacturer or provider. Writers may have conflicts of interest, and their opinions are their own.
