Hello Mommybites Community! I am Kate Motz, mother to three amazing kids (ages 8, 9 and 11), owner of a wellness center, community volunteer and Integrative Nutrition Coach with 20 years of experience in the health and wellness industry. But first and foremost, I am a woman. And like you, I know what it’s like to have a million things on your schedule, feel depleted, overwhelmed, moody, low on energy but frazzled, and sometimes super un-sexy.

In my early thirties, I was over-stressed, over-tired and had zero libido (image that, a mom with 3 kids under the age of 5). After my Integrative Nutrition education, I went on to study Hormone Balancing and put my learned practices to work. I discovered that my testosterone levels were low, cortisol level was incredibly high (something my traditional doctors didn’t even look at) and I didn’t have to take a pill or go on some crazy diet to fix it. Within two months, I had corrected my issues and felt enormously better. I mixed up the foods I was eating, prioritized my sleep, exercised less, and took some essential nutrients (supplements) that I learned I was deficient in. I lost 20 pounds, had new energy, and decided I just had to share this with people!

The solution to my problems was for me to simply make changes to how I eat, think, sleep, move and supplement. I trained with some of the best Holistic and Integrative Doctors in the world, and began using the protocols I learned with my clients. This has worked tremendously for the people I’ve been working with, as well as the clients of the practitioners I’ve trained.

Using my own journey as a source of inspiration, I have done extensive training and have developed online programs and customized wellness planning to help others find optimal wellness. Whether you struggle with a “muffin-top”, feel exhausted and irritated, or can’t figure out what happened to your libido, these protocols will help you!

I’m an Integrative Nutrition Coach and I specialize in helping people get to the root cause of health challenges, because I know – and evidence shows – that the greatest health transformations are created and sustained when you address the root cause, not just the symptoms.

Rather than treating problems or symptoms, I guide people to find solutions. I guide unique individuals. Sometimes I recommend supplements that fill nutritional gaps that you might have. Sometimes I recommend an app or a class that helps you become more mindful. Sometimes I recommend essential oils and other natural resources. Sometimes I refer to Integrative Physicians for possible bio-identical hormones. Many times I recommend all of the above. With every client I see, I consider that each person is a unique individual, and has unique preferences, lifestyle and motivation… and then recommend a customized wellness plan to promote optimal health and happiness.

My mission is to provide guidance as you create your ideal path to wellness, accountability to ensure you meet each of your health goals so you achieve the results you desire. Let’s work together to get you healthy, then focus on well-rounded, sustainable prevention, so you can stay that way.
