Don’t Hide It, Flaunt It

Last week, we had the pleasure of hosting a teleclass called “Don’t Hide It, Flaunt It: Teaching Parents Ways to Talk to Their Young Children About Those with Differences.”

In our teleclass, author/blogger, speaker, attorney and Parents Magazine contributor Meg Zucker, a mother of three born with a genetic condition leaving her with only one finger on each hand and one toe on each foot, drew on her own personal experiences.

Meg shared practical and useful tips to parents that they can use the next time their young children inquire (to your dismay), “Mommy, why does that person look/act like that?”

If you missed the excellent class, no worries. You can listen to the entire playback here.

Also here are some common questions and answers that came up at Meg Zucker’s “Don’t Hide It, Flaunt It: Celebrating a World of Differences” talk.

Did you know we have FREE teleclass and webinar several times a month on a variety of topics? Well, now you do:) Go here to see what’s coming up.
