If you’re looking for something educational and creative to do with your little one this summer, you may want to check out Ivy Kids Learning Kits. This is perfect for any child that will be starting PreK-3, PreK-4, or even Kindergarten in the Fall. Ivy Kids will send you a whole month’s supply of fun games and activities that follow the book of the month.

For July, the book is Jump, Frog, Jump! by Robert Kalan. We learned a lot about frogs and did a lot of jumping! As we read the book, we used the story sticks with the characters on them to follow along, which made it fun and interactive. My nephew (3 years old) loved participating while we were reading. He wasn’t so much into the crafts part, which included “Make Your own Frog” and the “Frog Puppet”, but he is only 3 and enjoyed the games much more.

I would have to say that the “Finger Frogs” were my nephew’s favorite, along with the “Feed the Frog” game. We counted as he popped each frog into the cup. He also learned a little bit about letters and knows now that frog starts with F.

One thing I would suggest doing is reading the book before bedtime and then read it again in the morning and include the activities then. This way your child knows what is coming next.

The Kit includes the book, eight to ten activities, supplies for each activity, and instructions. All you have to do is order the kit and spend fun quality time with your child!

*What exactly does a sponsored product review mean? Well, it goes a little something like this: unlike all of our educational content blogs where we receive NO compensation, for our S.O.S reviews Mommybites has been compensated by companies to review and discuss their product. This helps us pay outside bloggers (ones not affiliated with Mommybites, nor the companies themselves) to try out and review the products. This insures that all the reviewers writing these reviews are not influenced in any way. As usual, the writers will always give their honest opinions, findings, beliefs, or experiences on all topics, products, and services.

The views and opinions expressed on this blog are purely the blog contributor’s. Any product claim, statistic, quote or other representation about a product or service should be verified with the manufacturer or provider. Writers may have conflicts of interest, and their opinions are their own.
